  Miss Genevieve Elaine Morrison, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. and Mrs. Harold Morrison, Poland, and Robert Lyle Fenton, Forestport, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Fenton, were united in marriage on Saturday, Oct. 10, in St. John's Church, Newport.
  The Rev. William Lenehan performed the double ring ceremony.
  Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of Chantilly lace fashioned with a
scalloped Sabrina neckline embroidered with sequins, long tapered sleeves and a full skirt. Her fingertip veil was caught to a half hat of lace. The bride carried a sweetheart bouquet of mums, carnations and stephanotis.
  Miss Sheila Morrison, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Regina Morrison, sister-in-law of the bride, and Miss Gloria Paul, cousin of the bride, both from Poland.
  Robert Slifco, Mt. Arlington, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, was best man. Ushers were David Morrison, brother of the bride and Edward Lyon, Forestport.
  A reception took place in the Black Daliah after which the couple left on a trip through the New England States.
  The bride is employed by General Electric Co. Mr. Fenton is in the Navy, stationed aboard the USS Atka at Boston, Mass.

  Fenton is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Fenton, also of Poland.
  The future bride, also the daughter of the late Edwin Rommel Sr., is a graduate of Poland Central School and Herkimer County Community College. She is employed by O.W. Hubbell and Sons Inc., New York Mills.
  Her fiance, also a graduate of Poland Central, is employed by Rin-Buhr Construction.
  A Feb. 11, 1989 wedding is planned.

  Wesley Stever of Forks
  Feb. 4, 1936 to April 11, 2008
  Wesley George Stever passed away on April 11, 2008, at the age of 72.
   He was born on February 4, 1936, in Bremerton to George and Ruth (Wyatt) Stever. He grew up in the community of Holly and moved to Seabeck in 1959. He lived there for 31 years with his wife, Cecilia, and raised their three children.
   In 1990, he and Cecilia retired to Forks. He was well loved by all his family. He had many hobbies, including fishing, hunting and woodworking.
   He owned and operated OK Roofing from 1975 to 1990.
   Cecilia preceded him in death in February 2007.
  He is survived by his son, Blain (Debbie); daughters, Barbara and Rhonda (Sam); six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. His is also survived by three sisters, Lenore of Forks, Virginia of Brinnon and Merrilee of Sequim; and two brothers, Larry of Seabeck and Mike of Holly.
  Services will be held on Saturday, May 10 at 1 p.m. at the Congregational Church in Forks, Washington. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations to be sent to the Congregational Church. Arrangements entrusted to Drennan-Ford Funeral Home and Crematory.

  Lawrence S. "Baldy" Peterson, age 93, of Elsie, Michigan died Friday, November 12th, 2010 at Welcome Home Adult Foster Care. Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Elsie Chapel Elsie, MI on Monday, November 15th at 11:00 A.M. Pastor Edwin Snook will officiate. Burial will take place at Union Home Cemetery, St. Johns, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Saturday 6-8 P.M. and on Sunday, November 14, 2010 2-8 with family present 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes Elsie Chapel. Baldy was born in Elsie, Michigan on November 4, 1917, the son Earl and Ada (Smith) Peterson. He graduated from Elsie High School with the class of 1936. On April 28, 1956 married Ethel A. Sutfin in Angola, Indiana, Ethel died on April 1, 1998. He served his country in the US Army during W.W.II. Baldy retired from Midland Ross in Owosso in 1979 and resided most of his life in Elsie, and was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post #502, and VFW Post 4113 of St. Johns. Survivors include his daughter Barbara and Larry Salters of Ovid, MI; 6 sons Eugene Peterson of Owosso, MI; Benjamin and Maria Peterson of Radcliff, KY; James and Irene Peck, Merrill, MI; Robert Peck, Big Sandy, Texas; Bill & Carol Peck, Arizonia, Duane Harris, Flint, Michigan. 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 3 gr. gr. grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, his wife, 1 son, 1 sister, 2 brothers. Memorials may be made to Elsie United Methodist Church or American Heart Association.

Mary Margaret Kiblinger 1915 - 2005
   FREDONIA - Mary Margaret Kiblinger, 90, Fredonia, former resident of Neodesha, died Wednesday, May 18, 2005, at Fredonia Regional Hospital.
   She was born May 14, 1915, in Neodesha, the daughter of Archibald Lewis and Elizabeth Theresa Mangan Scott, Jr.
  She was a graduate of Neodesha High School and worked for 33 years as a school secretary at Neodesha High School.
  On Nov. 7, 1941, in Neodesha, she married Herbert Franklin Kiblinger. He preceded her in death August 9, 1995.
  She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Fredonia, and Sacred Heart Altar Society and a former member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church and St. Ignatius Altar Society, Neodesha.
  Survivors include three sons, Richard Kiblinger, Kansas City, Kan., Robert Kiblinger, Lost Springs, Mark Kiblinger, Cape Girardeau, Mo.; and eight grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.
  Funeral mass will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Fredonia, with Father Stephen Baxter officiating. The family will receive friends a the church 6 to 8 this evening with a rosary being said at 7.
  Memorial donations are suggested to Sacred Heart Catholic, Fredonia, or St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Neodesha.

  "DEAN C. HEWITT
  SILVER LAKE--- A funeral service will be held in Perry at 2 Wednesday afternoon for Dean C. Hewitt, 52, of 164 Lakeshore Drive , who died at Wyoming County Community Hospital Sunday, June 4, 1978) after suffering an apparent heart attack at his home.
  The rites will be in the Eaton-Watson Funeral home, 59 Lake St., Perry, Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Perry. a Masonic memorial service will be held at 7this evening at the funeral home.
  He was born in Olean and was raised on a farm on Oatka Road, near here. He lived most of his life in this area.
He served as a storekeeper in the Navy in the Mediterranean during World War II.
  He last worked at the Kaustine Furnace and Tank Co. of Perry as a crane operator.
  Mr. Hewitt's memberships included Perry Loyal Order of Moose 278, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 5009, Veterans memorial Association Silver Lake, Sportsman's Club, Constellation Lodge 404, F?AM, and the Honorary Sheriff Organization.
  Also he was a member of the Silver lake Cottagers' Association and the Pioneer CB Club.
  Surviving are his wife, the former Martha Stanbro; four sons Donald of Batavia, Dennis of Perry, Daryl of Denver, Colo., and Dean of Oakfield; a daughter, Mrs. Debra Hilchey of Oakfield.
  Also, two sisters, Mrs. Edith Phillips of Antioch, Calif., and Mrs Norma Beachel of Silver Springs; and seven grandchildren."
