  MISS OLGA JEAN SUPA became the bride of James Frederick Demoski at 10 a. m. yesterday in Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
  The Rev. Alexander Marckov officiated at the double-ring ceremony and celebrated Nuptial Mass.
  The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Anna Supa of 117 Walnut Street, and the late Andrew Supa. The bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Irene Demoski of Windsor RD 1, and the late Paul Demoski.
  Escorted to the altar by her brother-in-law, Paul Perchinsky, the bride wore a gown of hand-clipped Chantilly lace fashioned with a Sabrina neckline trimmed with seed pearls, and long, tapered sleeves.
  Fabric roses cascaded down the tiered ruffled skirt that ended in a chapel train.
  A scalloped crown of aurora crystals trimmed with rhinestones held the bride's fingertip veil  of Imported illusion in place. She carried a bouquet of phalaenopsis orchids and lilies of the valley.
  Miss Helen Baburchak of Johnson City was maid of honor. She wore a floor-length gown of emerald green with a velvet bodice and taffeta skirt. Her headpiece of green velvet was trimmed with a circular veil. She carried a bouquet of white carnations.
  Bridesmaids were Miss Jeanne Dacy and Miss Marie Teeple, both of Binghamton.They wore outfits similar to that of the maid of honor.
  Miss Jane Ann Krowiak of Binghamton was junior bridesmaid. She wore a gown of emerald green velvet fashioned with a scoop neckline and voluminous skirt caught at the back waist with a bustle bow. Her accessories were like those of the senior attendant's.
  Thomas Guinan of Kirkwood was best man. Ushers were John Vaseleck and Joseph Borruso, both of Kirkwood.

  Ilion . . . Robert H. Fay, teacher of physics and chemistry at llion High School for the last eight years, has accepted a position at Yale University to do research work in physics, beginning July 1.
  His resignation from the llion school system was confirmed this morning by Superintendent of Schools George Purple, who said the system regretted the Ioss of such a capable teacher but that officials were personally happy for the promotion of Fay.
  Mr. Fay, a native of llion graduated from llion High School and attended Columbia University and graduated from Colgate in 1942. During World War 2 he served with the Navy m the Carribean and Pacific Theatres and was commanding officer of the YMS 40 and the, AM 384.
  He is presently the commanding officer of the Naval Reserve Surface Division 3-100 at Utica.
   Mr. Fay has done graduate work at the University of Virginia, Utica College and Colgate University and was a member of Psl Upsllon fraternity.
  He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Fay, 23 Kenyon Court, Utica, and is married to the former Norma Wheelock of llion. Mr. and Mrs. Fay have three children. Robert 8, Norma S, and Charles 3.
  The family will move to New Haven during the summer.

  Edward H. Getman of Herkimer
   Edward H. Getman, age 71, of East German Street, entered into eternal rest on Monday evening, August 30, 2004, in Valley Health Services Inc., Herkimer, after a long illness. He was born on April 4, 1933, in Ilion, son of the late Earl H. and Mabel Amell Getman. Ed was raised in West Winfield and was a graduate of West Winfield High School "class of 1952". An honorably discharged US Army veteran, he served in Korea during the Korean War. On March 20, 1953 he married the former Shirley Weber in West Winfield. After his military service he had worked as a mechanic for Pat Patterson's Garage in East Herkimer until 1962. He then moved to Arizona and worked with his brother, Earl, as an electrician. Mr. Getman returned to Herkimer in 1992, and worked maintenance at the East Herkimer State Trooper Substation, until his retirement in 2002. Ed had a strong belief in God and was of the Methodist faith. He was a life member of the Michael S. Pliseck Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #4915, Herkimer. He was happiest when he was surrounded by his many friends and family, especially his three grandchildren. He was proud of their athletic abilities and was always there to cheer them on at sporting events. He will be greatly missed by many. Surviving him are his wife of 51 years, Shirley; one son, James, and his wife, Janet Getman of East Herkimer; a brother Earl H. Jr. and his wife, Sandra Getman of Phoenix, AZ; three grandchildren, Amy Getman of Manlius, James Getman Jr. of Herkimer, Jered Getman of East Herkimer; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be on Friday at 11 a.m. in Fenner Funeral Home Inc., 115 Court Street, Herkimer. The Reverend Wrightson Tongue, Pastor of the Fist United Methodist Church, will officiate. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will be present in the funeral home to receive relatives and friends on Friday morning, one hour prior to the funeral service, 10 to 11 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the National World War II Memorial Trip, c/o Mohawk Valley Chapter American Red Cross, 235 North Prospect Street, Herkimer, NY 13350. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Brutal and Michelle, the third floor staff of Faxton-St. Luke's Oncology Unit for the care and compassion shown to Ed and his family during his illness.

  HERKIMER - George F. Hadcock, 57, of 628 Ronald St. died Tuesday May 31, 1977 in Herkimer Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
  He was born December 18, 1919 in Little Falls the son of James and Clara Bush Hadcock. Graduated from Herkimer High School He served in the U S Army in India during WW II. He married Eleanor J. Shaul on March 18, 1943 in Herkimer. He was elected Town Clerk of the Town of Herkimer in January of 1958 and has held the post for the past 23 years. He is a member of the Herkimer Masonic Lodge the Scottish Rite Bodies of Utica, the Ziyara Temple of the Shrine of Utica, the Central New York Chapter of the M.S. Society, chairman of it's T.A.C. receiving their Hope Chest Award last year, the Michael S. Plesick Post VFW; past president of the Town Clerks Assoc., of Herkimer County, he was a member and active in the First Baptist Church of Herkimer.
  He is survived by his wife, his mother. Mrs. Clara Piper of Little Falls; three daughters. Mrs. Richard (Patricia) Lawrence of Norwalk, Ohio; Mrs. David (Jane) Carrico of Clarksburg, West Virginia; Mrs. Lemuel (Nancy) Mayle of Culloden, West Virginia; one brother, Frank of llion; one sister. Mrs Clestia Depietro of Houston, Texas; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
  The funeral will be 11 a.m. on Thursday in the First Baptist Church of Herkimer with burial in Mt. View Memorial Gardens, Town of Little Falls. Calling hours in the Fenner Funeral Home, Inc 2-4 and 7-9 on Wednesday.

  Miss Carole Joan Eisenlord, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Eisenlord, Sr., 231 Folts St., and Richard Alan Shaul, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Shaul, 712 Church St., were married at 8 o’clock last night in a double ring ceremony at the Reformed Church by the Rev. Alyle A. Schutter, pastor.
  The candlelight service was performed before an altar decorated with white garden flowers. Miss Phyllis Wagner was organist and Miss Linda Senderson, vocalist, sang “The Lord’s Prayer” and “Still As the Night,” by Carl Bohm.
  Miss Marilyn Shearer was maid of honor and Robert Brothers best man, while the ushers were Edward Eisenlord Jr., brother of the bride, and John Rinko, Oswego.
   Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor-length gown of nylon tulle and taffeta, with inserted lace bands in the skirt, short lace sleeves, and a round-necked bodice, outlined with a tan effect of lace. With it, she wore long net mitts with calla points and a fingertip veil, caught to a Juliet cap of pleated net and seed pearls. She carried a white Bible with a white orchid and streamers of shattered carnations.
  The maid of honor was attired in a floor-length gown of nylon net with cascading ruffles of shaded green and a strapless bodice of draped net, accented with a streamer bow of deep
green velvet, worn with a net jacket and a small deep green velvet hat. She carried a colonial bouquet of pink sweetheart roses and baby’s breath.
  The mother of the bride chose grey net over dusty rose taffeta with black accessories and a corsage of white sweetheart roses, while the mother of the bridegroom was in light blue, with black accessories and a corsage of yellow sweetheart roses. The bride’s grandmother wore black and white print with white accessories and a red sweetheart rose corsage.
  After a reception in the church parlors immediately following the ceremony the couple left for a trip to Washington and the South. They will be at home at Belwin Apartments, Holland Patent, after July 9.
  The bride is a 1952 graduate of Herkimer High School and a 1956 graduate of New York State College for Teachers at Albany. She will teach junior high mathematics at Holland Patent Central School this fall.
  The bridegroom, a 1951 graduate of Herkimer High School, served four years in the Navy and is employed by the New York Telephone Co.
  Pre-nuptials included a shower by Miss Marilyn Shearer, party by Mr. and Mrs. Frank  Hadcock and Mr. and Mrs. Keith Turner, and a dinner for the bridal party at the Mohawk Valley Tavern.
