Marriage Notes for Maxine Ann Rashley and Roger B Stone

 - Engagement Announcement (Schenectady Gazette, NY, Tuesday, February 17, 1953)
  Mr. and Mrs. Fred C. Rashley of Eastern parkway announced the engagement of their daughter, Maxine Ann, to Roger B. Stone at a Valentine dinner party Saturday evening at their home. Mr. Stone is the son of Mr. and Mrs. B. Browe Stone of Corbettsville.
  Miss Rashley is a graduate of Nott Terrace high school and is employed in the general engineering laboratory of the General Electric Co.
  Mr. Stone wa s graduated from Binghamton North high school and is at present on the technical course for laboratory assistants in the General Engineering laboratory of the General Electric Co.
  No date has been set for the wedding.

  Miss Maxine A. Rashley and Rober B. Stone exchanged marriage vows at 3 p. m. April 10.
   The Rev. Walter J. Whitney officiated at the service in the Eastern Parkway Methodist Church, Schnectady. He was assisted by the Rev. Francis W. Trimmer, pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Schenectady.
  The bride is the Mr. annd Mrs. Fred C. Rashley of Eastern Parkway, Schenectady. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. B. Browe Stone of Corbettsville.
  Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride wore a gown of Chgntilly lace over satin fashioned with a Queen Anne collar, long tapered sleeves and a hoop skirt trimmed with tiers of ruffles. A cap of satin and seed pearls held her fingertip veil of illusion. She carried cymbidium orchids and lilies of the valley.
  Mrs. Donald Sortwell of Troy was matron of honor in an aqua - silk organza gown. She wore a floral headpiece and carried a basket of spring flowers.
  Bridesmaids were Miss Ethel Hoffman and Miss Beverly Thomas both of Schenctady. They wore blue and pink gowns, respectively.
  They wore headpieces and carried flowers similar to those of the matron of honor's.
  Susan Morley of Pittsfield, Mass., was flower girl and Linda Robinson of Scotia was ring bearer.
  George E. Rashley was best man for his new brother-in-law. Joseph Schuh of Binghamton and Raymond E. Moore of Schenectady ushered.
  The new Mrs, Stone is a graduate of Nott Terrace High School. The bridegroom was graduated from North High
School.

  Glenna M. Peffley, 68, 710 Gibson St. Defiance, died Friday at 9:18 a.m. in Defiance Hospital. She was born May 3, 1924, in Defiance, the daughter of Ralph and Irma (Koerber) Osborn. In 1969, she married Donald Peffley, who survives. She worked as a cashier for Kroger Co. and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, DAV Auxiliary, Moose Auxiliary, and Jewell American Legion Auxiliary.
  Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Shirl (Cindy) Abner, Piqua; three stepsons, Craig Peffley of Montpelier, Mike Peffley of Defiance, and Ben Peffley, Charleston, S.C.; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Larry (Carol) Graham of Chicago, Mrs. Dave (Jane) Zedaker and Mrs. Mike (Sherry) Epple, both of Defiance; two brothers, Robert and Donald, both of Defiance; three sisters, Mrs. Russell, (Thelma) Flory of Jewell, Betty Schackow and Mrs. Robert (Barbara) Eitniear, both of Defiance; two grandchildren, 20 step grandchildren and four step greatgrandchildren.
  Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the church with Rev. Robert Metheny officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 2-9 p.m. today at Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home where Jewell American Legion Auxiliary will conduct a memorial service at 7 p.m. Memorials may be made to Defiance Area Diabetic Club.
  Services for Glenna M. Peffley wer held Monday morning at Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. Robert Metheny officiating. Organist was Joanne McPherson. Pallbearers were Eric Epple, Chris Epple, Morgan Peffley,Trevor Peffley, Joshua Zedaker, and Jeff Zedaker. Burial was in Riverview Memory Gardens. Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

  Glen W. Keeler, 66, of Arlington died Friday, Dec. 10, 1999, at his home.
  Services were Monday, Dec. 13, 1999. The Rev. Lynn Martin officiated. Burial was in the Arlington Cemetery.
  Glen W. Keeler was born June 23, 1933 to Clyde and Hazel (Walraven) Keeler in Yutan. In 1942, he moved with his family from Yutan to a farm south of Arlington. He was a graduate of Arlington High School.
  On January 24, 1953, he married Coralen (Wulf) Keeler in Arlington. After his marriage, he moved into Arlington and was employed at the George A Hormel & Co in Fremont for 42 years until retirement in 1996.
  He was a member of the Arlington Community Church and the Arlington Volunteer Fire Department, where he was a member for 25 years and had served as fire chief. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #200 of Fremont.
  He is survived by his wife, Coralen; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Cheryl Keeler of Arlington and Michael and Gina Keeler of Trinity, N.C.; daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Ed Kroenke of North Bend; brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Connie Keeler of Schuyler; three sisters and brother-in-law, Leatha Mumm of Yutan; Joyce and Herb Sievers and Betty Keeler, all of Omaha; two sisters-in-law, Kay Keeler of Lincoln and Joyce Keeler of Valley; and nine grandchildren.
  He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant daughter, Coral; and two brothers, Richard and Dale Keeler.
  Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home in Arlington was in charge of arrangements.
