Lois Anne Gwynn Timm, 83, of Houston, TX, passed away on October 17, 2007. She was born in Syracuse, New York, on August 8, 1924. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Gwynn and Mabel MacBurney Gwynn; brother, Robert Gwynn; and son Robert Donald Timm.
Lois is survived by her husband of 60 years, Carl Timm; daughter Donna Timm Bennett and husband Dennis; son R.C. Timm and wife Connie; son Charles Timm; daughter Allison Timm; and daughter Joanne Timm. She is also survived by her grandchildren, James Anderson, David Bennett and Amanda Timm; her sister-in- law, Shirley Shestak; niece Robin Gwynn; and nephews Jim Gwynn and Tommi Gwynn.
Some of the greatest joys in Lois's life were the volunteer work she did at Interfaith Caring Ministries Resale Shop, Meals-on-Wheels and Clear Lake United Methodist Church and watching the Cubs and the Astros play baseball.
The family wishes to express immense gratitude toward Regency Hospice, Comfort Keepers Home Health Care and to Dr. Aziz Shaibani and his staff for the wonderful medical care, support and guidance Lois and our family received. A special thanks to Jacquie Pharris for the beautiful flowers that brought such joy to Lois during her illness.
A celebration of Lois's life will be held at Clear Lake United Methodist Church on November 11, 2007, at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers and because of Lois's love of all animals, the family requests that donations be made to the Bay Area SPCA at 3000 Ave. R, San Leon, TX 77539.

Donald E. Timm, 39, of Brewerton, a pattern department foreman at Crouse-Hinds Co., where he was employed 22 years, died unexpectedly Sunday night, December 20, while trimming the family Christmas tree.
A native of Syracuse, Mr. Timm resided in Brewerton 14 years. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in Europe with the 42d Army Division. He was a member and past master of Fort Brewerton Lodge 256, F&AM; a member and past patron of Eastern Star; a membe r of the American Foundrymen's Society and the Brewerton Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Marian Feeter Timm; two daughters, Karen and Linda Timm; a brother, Carl C. Timm of Brewerton; his step-mother Mrs. Carl A. Timm of Chattanooga, Tenn.; a step-brother John Solomon of Chattanooga, and several nieces and nephews.
Services were at 2 p.m., December 23rd at the Hilton Funeral Home, Brewerton. Burial was in Pine Plains Cemetery. Masonic services were at 8 p.m. December 22nd at the family home.

Rose Revoir, 82, of Syracuse, passed away Friday at Van Duyn Home & Hospital. A native and lifetime resident of Syracuse, she was a graduate of Vocational High School and was employed at the former Presto-Lite Co. She was employed there for 39 years as an assembly worker in the armature department. She was a member of the American Legion and General Pulaski Post 1650 Women's Auxiliary.

She is survived by her sons, Lawrence (Katherine) and Jeff (Mary Ann) Revoir; her daughter Michelle Gonzales; her sister, Ruth Gilombardo; and many grandchildren. Frederick Sethmann of Westwood accompanied his daughter, Miss Grace Sethmann, as she sang "Because", "Calm as the Night", and "The Lord's Prayer".
Given in marriage by her uncle, Hilmer Petersen of Hillsdale, the bride wore a white satin gown fashioned with an illusion neckline, long sleeves, fitted bodice and a full skirt terminating in a long train. A fingertip veil of illusion was attached to a crown of beaded pearls. She carried a cascade bouquet of white roses and baby's breath.
Serving her sister as matron of honor was Mrs. Ruth Gilombardo of Hillsdale, wearing a yellow taffeta gown made with illusion neckline, tight bodice, full skirt and three-quarter length matching mitts. She wore a matching picture hat and carried an old-fashioned bouquet of pastel spring flowers.
Bridesmaids were Miss Ellen Sethmann of Westwood, Miss Clair Pelsang and Miss Betty Bachmann of Hillsdale, and Miss Carole Revoir of Pearl River, sister of the bridegroom. All attendants wore gowns of orchid taffeta styled identical to that of the matron of honor, They, too, wore matching picture hats and carried old-faahioned bouquets.

For going away the bride selected a yellow net dress with brown polka dots over taffeta, brown accessories, and a gardenia corsage. On their return the newlyweds will reside
at 64 Yesler Way. Hillsdale.
Mrs. Revoir is a graduate of Westwood high school and is employed by the New Jersey Bell Telephone Company in Westwood.
Mr. Revotr served two years with the United States Navy and has graduated from Nyack vocational school, finishing a course in carburation ignition.

Norman R. Walts, 71, of Central Square died Monday. Born in Mexico, he lived in Caughdenoy 40 years before moving to Central Square in 1998. He retired in 1991 after 40 years as a carpenter with Upstate Carpenters Local 747. He was a
founding, charter and 30-year member of the Caughdenoy Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of Fuller-Taylor American Legion Post 915 in Central Square and Phoenix Memorial Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5540. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War and survived the explosion aboard the aircraft carrier Bennington in 1954. His wife of 30 years, the former Eunice Sahm, died in 1985.
Survivors: A daughter, Lisa Wood of Central Square; a son, David Buck of Oswego; two brothers, Ronald of Clay and William Jr. of Phoenix; four grandchildren.

Audrey Walts Castleman, 63, of Mattydale, died Sunday at Crouse Irving Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
A native of Hastings, Mrs. Castleman lived in the Central Square area for most of her life before moving to Mattydale in 1994. She retired in 1993 after five years as a licensed practical nurse with the Central Square Health Center and previously was a home health aide for five years. Mrs. Castleman attended Paul V. Moore High School, Central Square, and was a graduate at the age of 50 of BOCES Adult Career Center. Mrs. Castleman was a member of Caughdenoy United Methodist Church and a charter member of the auxiliary of the Caughdenoy Volunteer Fire Department. She also was a member of Onondaga Pottery Chorus and the Salt City Chapter of the Sweet Adelines. She was a former member and past noble grand of Oneida Rebekah Lodge, Caughdenoy.
Surviving are her husband, Harold; three sons, Mitchell of Somonauk, Ill., Matthew of Liverpool and Martin of Central Square; three daughters, Sandra Whittaker and Denise Ely, both of Central Square, and Elizabeth Preston of Mattydale; three brothers, Norman and William, both of Pennellville, and Ronny Walts of Central Square; 10 grandchildren; and several aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Harold G. Castleman, 72, of Liverpool died Sunday. He was born in Syracuse and lived in Central Square and Mattydale before moving to Liverpool in 1996. He was a 1948 graduate of Blodgett Vocational High School and attended Syracuse University. He retired as a heating technician in 1994 after 15 years with Mirabito Fuel Company in Syracuse. He also worked for Buckley-Southland Petroleum Co. He was a veteran of the Coast Guard Reserve. His wife, the former Audrey Walts, died in 1996. His daughter, Lorianne, died in 1960.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Esther Spear, North Jefferson street, and Norman Spear of Syracuse, and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Walts of Central Square.
The bride wore a gown of peau de soie, with lace bodice and short sleeves. Her shoulder-length veil of English silk illusion was attached to a crown of lace and pearls. She carried a bouquet of white orchids.
The maid of honor was Miss Sally Spear, sister of the bride. Kelly Spear, niece of the bride, was flower girl. James Lewis, Central Square, was best man.
A reception was held in the parish house.
Mrs. Walts was graduated from Pulaski Academy and Central school, class of 1965, and.has a position as clerktypist at Syracuse university. Mr. Walts, a graduate of Central Square Central school, is a brakeman with the New York Central railroad.
Upon their return from their wedding trip, they will be at home in Central Square.
