  On May 22, 2009, Mark Robert Peterson, age 53, passed away peacefully at home in Haddonfield, NJ surrounded by family and friends. Born in Dumont, NJ, Mark grew up in Washington Township, NJ and has been a resident of Haddonfield for the past 25 years. He was in the graduating class of 1978 from Glassboro State College. Mark worked as a project manage r for AT&T / Cingular for the past 13 years. Prior to that, he was employed by PSE&G at its Newark and Salem offices. Mark enjoyed life to the fullest and spent a great deal of time at his summer home in Manahawkin, NJ. Mark's passion for boating, motorcycling, restoring cars and remodeling homes, allowed him the opportunity to develop friendships with so many wonderful people.
   Mark is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Lori (nee Brink) and two beautiful daughters, Melissa and Michelle. He is the son of Richard and the late , Patricia. He is survived by his brother, David (Joyce) and their sons, Bobby and Kevin; his sister, Barbara (Larry) Fox and their daughters, Kate and Anne; his sister-in-law, Linda (Gary) Quinn and their children, Matthew and Aimee; and his brother-in-law, Mark (Carolyn) Brink.
   He will be deeply missed. All are invited to join family and friends in celebrating Mark's life on May 30, 10am at the HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 9 White Horse Pike, Haddon Heights, NJ.

  Suzanne Robertson, 54, Blue Springs, Mo., passed away Friday, July 21, 2006, at her home.
  Suzi spent her time, energy and spirit investing in the needs of others, especially special needs children. Her personality, passion to care, love for others, commitment to her children and family was matched only by the warmth of her smile. She was a driving force and advocate for those who could not speak for themselves. Her deep devotion to ministry and love of Christ were best expressed as a medical foster parent.
   Suzi was a member of Kansas City First Church of the Nazarene, and served with her husband in pastorates at Mirabile Community Church, Elm Street Church of the Nazarene in Ironton, Ohio, and Fort Osage Church of the Nazarene in Independence, Mo.
  Suzi goes to help prepare a place for her husband, Rev. Dr. Charles Robertson; three sons, Dr. Donald C. Robertson and wife, Erika, Kevin Robertson and wife, Angela, and her "adopted" son, Raymond A. Hay; her mother, Shirley Peacock; brothers, Gary Peacock and wife, Wanda, Dwayne Peacock and wife, Lynn, Jeff Peacock and wife Joy; sisters, Sharon Bistoff and husband, John, Beth Mazur and husband, Joe; grandchildren, Jon, Michael, Shawn, Aidan, Ashley and Kirsten; as well as nieces and nephews and their children; and other loving family members and friends. Suzi is reunited with her father, Earl C. Peacock, and her daughter, Ronda "Roo" Robertson.
  Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 26, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, Independence, 816-373-3600. Burial will be at Blue Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel. The family suggests memorial contributions to The Research Foundation (Research Medical Center).   DOLGEVILLE - Miss Jill E. Near of Adams, Jefferson County, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lowell D. Near of 21 Timmerman Street, was united in marriage to George P. Hyde, son of Mrs. Rachel Hyde of Adams and the late Albert Hyde, in a ceremony at 1 Sunday afternoon, July 3, at the Dolgeville Universalist Church.
   Rev. Howard Gilman, pastor of the Little Falls Universalist Church, performed the marriage rite. Mrs. Jean Steciak of Dolgeville was the organist for the wedding.
   The bride was given in marriage by her father. She was attended by a cousin, Mrs. Gale Comstock of Dolgeville.
   Albert C. Hyde of Arlington, Va., brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Two other brothers, Judson M. Hyde and Benjamin C. Hyde, both of Adams, and two brothers of the bride, Donald Near of Syracuse, and Robert Near of Dolgeville, were ushers.
   A reception for 110 was held at the Little Falls Elks Lodge after the ceremony with music provided by an area band.
   After a trip to the Upper St. Lawrence River area and to Maine, the couple is residing at 23 East Church Street, Adams.
   The bride  is a graduate of Dolgeville Central School and of the State University at Cortland. She is a physical education and fourth grade teacher at South Jefferson Central School.
   The bridegroom, a graduate of South Jefferson Central School and St. Lawrence University, Canton, is a fifth grade teacher at the South Jefferson Central School
  The bride was honored at two bridal showers. One was June 18 at the home of her matron of honor, Mrs. Comstock, Dolgeville. The other was June 20 at the home of Mrs. Joan Dowkee, Adams, with Mrs. Elaine Overton assisting.
   The bride and bridegroom both were honored at a party June 13 given by the faculty and staff of the Mannsville (Jefferson County) Elementary School and at another party June 21 at the same school given by fifth grade classes.

  Jo Anne H. Green, age 83, of Henderson, passed away Jan. 17, 2015. She was born April 17, 1931, in Chicago, to Robert and Nelle Hower. She married Carl Green Aug. 26, 1950.
   They enjoyed 62 years prior to his passing in 2013. They moved to Las Vegas in 1964. Jo Anne served as a past chairman of the Valhalla Lodge, Vasa Order of America and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and The Order of the Eastern Star.
   She is survived by two daughters, Dawn Green and Jan Habenicht; and a granddaughter, Lauren Habenicht. Services will be private. Jo Anne will be placed with her husband at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Shriners Crippled Children Hospital, 3160 Geneva St., Los Angeles, CA 90020. Carl Krister Green

  Carl Krister Green, age 86 of Henderson, NV passed away on May 12, 2013 in Boulder City. He was born in Chicago, IL on March 18, 1927 to Karl Green and Hulda Palmquist Green. In March of 1945 he joined the United States Navy and served during World War II. He was honorably discharged in July of 1946 as a Quartermaster third Class. He was a past Commander of Square Post #232 American Legion in Chicago. He also was a proud member of the Masonic Fraternity for 57 years, being active in the Scottish Rite and Order of the Mystic Shrine. Carl was the first in his family to be born in the United States, he loved his parents Swedish heritage and served two terms as Chairman of the Vahalla Lodge, Vasa Order of America.
   Carl is survived by his wife Jo-Anne Hower Green that he married on August 26, 1950; daughters Dawn Green, Jan Habenicht, Patricia Vatthauer; granddaughter Lauren Habenicht and nephew Jim Faust.
   Memorial service will be held on Monday, June 10, 2013 at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers please send donation to the Shriners Crippled Children Hospital 3160 Geneva Street, Los Angeles, CA 90020.

  Mrs. Biddle was the daughter of Vincent "Smokey" and Frances (Haworth) Day. She was raised in Hammond, but was a resident of Astoria for most of her life.
  In 1948, she married Bob Biddle in the Knappa-Svensen area. They later divorced. He preceded her in death in 2006.
  In her earlier years, Mrs. Biddle worked in different canneries, then at various restaurants, including Corkey's, Andrew and Steve's Café, The Fiesta Club, Coffee Cup and the Labor Temple Café and Bar. She was also employed by Tongue Point Job Corps Center for 10 years and as an in-home caretaker for 20 years.
   She was enrolled with the Clatsop-Nehalem Confederated Tribes. She was a member of the North Coast Women's Aglow Fellowship. She volunteered, delivering food to the needy for 15 years. She was a member of Astoria First Assembly of God Church.
  Family members said she enjoyed collecting antiques, embroidery, cooking and gardening. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and taking care of numerous nieces and nephews, some grandchildren and three foster children.
   She is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Ron and Janice Biddle of Green Valley, Ariz., Dan and Cindy Biddle of West Richland, Wash., Bob and Gloria Biddle of Richland, Wash., and Ted and Cindy Biddle of Pendleton; a daughter, Kathy Link of Astoria; a foster daughter, Sabrinna Simmons of Astoria; four sisters, Dorothy Davis of Myrtle Point, Margaret Milliern of Tacoma, Wash., Charlotte Nicholls of Astoria and Pat Day of Sacramento, Calif.; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, James and Eileen Day of Scappoose, Robert and Febe Day of Camano Island, Wash., and Howard Day of Hermiston; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
  She was preceded in death by two brothers; a sister; and a great-granddaughter.
