The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a French lace gown with a scolloped neckline, long lace sleeves, a fitted bodice and bouffant skirt. A queen's crown of sequins and beads held tiers of silk veiling. The bride carried a bouquet of white roses with a corsage of white orchids.
Mrs. Crawford Kneaskern was matron of honor, and Miss Marcia J . Getman and Miss Mary Muscynski were bridesmaids.
Stanley Austin was the best man. The ushers were Gerald Hyney and Larry Lawrence.
An afternoon reception was held in the Canajoharie Hotel, after which the couple left on a trip through the southern states. They will make thier home at 30 Reid St. Fort Plain.
The bride was graduated from the Utica School of Commerce and is employed by the Central National Bank of Canajoharie, Her husband is affiliated with Beech-Nut Life Savers Inc.

The bride was graduated from Fort Plain Central School. The bridegroom was graduated from the Owen D. Young Central School and is employed at Beech-Nut, Inc., Canajoharie.

The altar was decorated with mums and pompons. Miss Carol Brownell of Tribes Hill, soloist, sang "The Lords Prayer," "Because" and "O Perfect Love," accompanied at the organ by Orville Batty of Gloversville.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white hand-clipped Chantilly lace gown designed with a controlled skirt with side pleats and a scalloped hemline. Her silk illusion puffed English imported veil fell from a Dior head bow. She carried a cascade bouquet of white pompons centered with a white orchid.
Mrs. Sandra Silverstein of Liberty was matron of honor for her sister. She was attired in a maize gown and matching long-sleeved jacket with a pointed disc veil-trimmed headpiece. She carried a colonial bouquet of pompons in fall shades with yellow streamers.
Miss Jo Ann Northover, sister of the bride, and Miss Patricia Christman, cousin of the bride, both of Johnstown, were bridesmaids. They wore mint green gowns designed with linen blend bodices and sheath crepe skirts with flowing back panels. They wore matching pointed disc headpieces with face veils. They carried bouquets of fall pompons with yellow streamers.
James England of Johnstown, cousin of the bridegroom, was best man. Ushers were Jack Talialatela, brother of the bridegroom, and Richard Christman, cousin of the bride, both of Johnstown.
The mother of the bride wore a raspberry silk linen blend dress and jacket with a matching pillbox hat trimmed with veiling. She wore a corsage of white roses and miniature carnations, The mother of the bridegroom wore a beige sheath dress with matching pillbox hat and a corsage of white roses and miniature pompons.
A reception for 150 guests was held at the Pine Tree Rifle Club in Johnstown after the ceremony with guests attending from Johnstown, Gloversville, Tribes Hill, Fort Plain, Canajoharie, Auburn, Amsterdam, Schenectady anbd Van Hornesville.
For a tripo to the New England states, the bride wore a loden green kint 3-piece suit with matching accessories and a white orchid. The couple will reside at 11 East Montgomery Street, Johnstown.
Attendants were presented gifts at a rehersal party Friday night at the home of the bridegroom's parents.
The bride, a graduate of Johnstown High School and a June graduater of the Utica School of Beauty Culture, is a co-owner of Glamour House Coiffures in Gloversville. The bridegroom, a June graduate of Johnstown High School, is employed at the General Electric Company in Schenectady.

The bride, escorted by her father, wore a street length gown of white Chanttily lace over satin in princess style with a low rounded neckline. Her full flared skirt was hooped.
Her face length veil was caught to a bridal cap of stiffened nylon lace. She carried a white satin orchid.
Mlaa Linda Conover, Fort Plain, was maid of honor. She wore a street length gown of yellow chiffon. It was sleeveless with a high neckline. Her full skirt was in harem style. She wore a motching bridal cap of small flowers. She Colonial bouquet was of yellow carnations.
Richard Burkdorf, St. Johnsville was best man. Paul Briele, St. Johnsville, was the usher.
The bride's stepmother wore a streentlnegth dress of navy blue embossed cotton silk. Her accessories were white, and she had a corsage of red roses. The bridegroom's mother selected a street length dress of navy blue and dark green flowered chiffon with navy blue and white accessories. She wore a corsage of spring flowers.
A reception was held at the Stone Lodge, Palatine Bridge. At a buffet luncheon, the couple cut a decorated 2-tiered wedding cake.
About 70 attended from St. Johnsville, Canajoharie, Fort Plain, Utica, Albany, Amsterdam, Van Hornesville, Palatine Bridge. The couple presented gifts to their attendants.
The couple left for a wedding trip to Washington D. C. They will be home Friday at 40 River Street, Fort Plain. For traveling the bride chose a street length dress of pale aqua embossed cotton in shirt sleve style. She had beige accessories and a beige coat of light wool. she wore a white orchid corsage.
The bride was graduated last year from Fort Plain Central School. She is an inspector at Luxuray Mills Inc. The bridegroom was graduated from St. Johnsville High School in 19956. He is employed by the State Highway Department.
The bride was entertained at pre-nuptual parties given by Mrs. Marlene Ebeling and Mrs. Margaret Kane.

A Johnstown young man was one of the principals in a large church wedding solemnized Sunday morning in Amsterdam.
He is Daniel W. Warren, son of Mr, and Mrs. Daniel A. Warren, 2 Glenwood Avenue, and he was united in marriage to Miss Joan May Guzielek, daughter of Mrs. Raymond Guzielek, Amsterdam and the late Mr. Guzielek.
A nuptial mass was celebrated at 10 at the Church of St. John the Baptist by Rev. Ladialaus Guzielekof St. Adelberts Church, Schenectady, uncle of the bride.
Rt. Rev. Msgr, Peter Nowak, Rev. Edward Tanski and Rev. Francis Drzewiecki were in the sanctuary.
Gladioli and chrysanthemums adorned the altar and the pews were marked with white satin bows.
Stanley Slusarr. organist, played traditional wedding music and during the ceremony; Mrs. Lewis Fontana, cousin of the bride, sang "Ave Maria" and Panis Angelicus."
The bride was given in marriage by her uncle, Edward Guzielek. Her gown of imported hand-clipped lace over white satin ws fashoned with a portrait scalloped neckline trimmed with sequins and pearls, fitted bodice and tiered skirt of tullie and lace studded with sequins which swept into a chapel train. Her fingertip veil edged with lace was gathered to a crown of sequins and pearls and she carried a prayer book covered with stephanotis and a white orchid.
The mais of honor was Miss Patricia Mazur, who was attired in light blue silk chiffon over taffeta trimmed with silver lame. Her headpiece was of blue nylon tulle and rosebuds and her bouquet was a fan of red roses and stephanotis.
The bridesmaids were the Misses Fay and Patricia Warren, sisters of the bridegroom, and Mrs. Mry Wojciechowski. their costumes were like the maid of honor's only in Cecillan blue and they carried pans in pink roses and Stephanotis.
The flower girl, Miss Barbara Pomykai, niece of the bride, was dressed like a miniature bride in white nylon net with a small white hat with veil. She carried a fan of pink sweetheart roses and stephanotis.
John Joyce, Johnstown, was best man. Ushers were John Utruba, Mayfield: George Tripp, Gloversville, cousin of the bridegroom, and Stanley Wojciechowski, Amsterdam.
The bride's mother wore a blue lace dress and blue hat with an orchid corsage. the mother of the bridegroom wore cocoa taffeta with a black hat and orchid corsage.
A reception and dinner at St. John's Hall followed the ceremony.
Guests were also present from Albany, Johnstown, Gloversville, Massachusetts and Schenectady.
For a wedding trip to Miami Fla., the bride chose for her traveling outfit a beige knitted suit and brown hat. She also wore an orchid corsage.
Mrs. Warren is a graduate of the Wilbur H. Lynch High School and is employed in the office of Mohawk Carpet Mills. Her husband is a graduate of Johnstown High School and is employed by his father in the DeLuxe Diner in this city.
The couple will reside at 60 Sloane Avenue.

The bride's mother was attired in a dark blue dress suit. The bridegroom's mother wore a royal blue laminated wool outfit. They also wore double white orchids.
A reception for the immediate families was held after the ceremony at the home of the bridegroom's parents.
Warren, who is a graduate of Johnstown High School and Fulton-Montgomery Community College, left Monday morning for Texas to begin Air Force basic training under a 4-year enlistment.
A farewell party for Warren was held Sunday night at his brother's home.
His wife will reside with her parents until he completes basic training, and then will join him.

Richard Warren, three and one-half year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel A. Warren, 2 Glenwood avenue, suffered severe burns about both legs when his clothing caught fire from a bonfire in the rear of his home Tuesday afternoon.
The lad was kicking at the boenfire when his clothing blased and he screamed for help. His mother rushed to aid him and sustained burns on her hands but was unable to put out the blasing cloth.
Mr. Warren, hearing the cries from the rear of the house, rushed out and put out the blaze after being painfully burned on his hands.
The boy was taken to the Littauer hospital, where he was treated by Dr. William F. Hesek. He is confined to the hospital at the present time.

Mrs. Macel A. Warren, 91, of West Montgomery Street, Johnstown, died Saturday at home after being stricken.
She was born on April 23, 1910 in Johnstown, the daughter of Daniel and Mabel Stewart Allen.
Mrs. Warren was a member of the Lions Auxiliary, Johnstown; VFW Auxiliary, and Johnstown 50 Plus Senior Citizens.
She was employed with Delco in New Jersey, the former Johnstown Knit and Diana Knit and worked as a waitress for the former Sir William Grill in Johnstown.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Muhlberger of Schenectady and Donald Muhlberger of Chatham, N.J.; seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Warren was predeceased by her husband, Clyde K. Warren, whom she married on Nov. 23, 1949. He died June 1, 1975.
There will be no calling hours. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at A.G. Cole Funeral Home Inc., 215 E. Main St., Johnstown. The Rev. Don English will officiate. Burial will take place at Ferndale Cemetery, Johnstown. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimers Association, 85 Watervliet Ave., Albany, NY 12206-2083.

After two and one-half years of service prior to Pearl Harbor and three since, Pfc Howard D. Warren, aged 35, is back in the states and has arrived on a 30-day T D (temporary duty) furlough at his home, 13 Veghte street.
Before the present war he Joined the U. S. Regular Army and served an enlistment in the Hawaiian Islands, then returned home.
In May, 1942, he was drafted with a contingent from District 389, and after six months of training started overseas. He was attached to the Quartermaster Corps of the U. S. Seventh Army and saw service in North Africa, Sicily, Italy and Southern France.
He is a brother of Daniel A. Warren, proprietor of Warren's Diner.

GLOVERSVILUE — Airman Larry D. Warren, son of Mrs. Iva I. Warren of 16 Market St., has been assigned to Keesler AFB, Miss., after completing Ait Force basic training.
The airman has been assigned to the Technical Training Center at Keelser for specialized training in the armament systems field.
Airman Warren graduated in 1971 from Gloversville High School. His wife, Deborah, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Fisher of 16 Snyder Ave., Johnstown Warren's father, Howard D. Warren, lives at 39 S. Main St.

Alice Leary Kring
Funeral services were held Saturday at the Fox Funeral Home, Heuvelton, for Mrs. Alice Elizabeth Leary Kring, 69, at St. Raphael's Church, Rev. Philip T. Allen, pastor, officiated. Burial was in Cedars Cemetery, Black Lake Road.
Mrs. Kring, wife of Lawrence I. Kring of the West Lake Road, Heuvelton, and a retired teacher of the Heuvelton Central School died Wednesday, November 28 at Hepburn Hospital, Ogdensburg, where she had been hospitalized for the past three weeks.
Surviving besides her husband are one son, Lawrence I., Jr. of Route 2 Heuvelton; two brothers, George O'Leary of Hammond and Bernard Leary of Rossie; three nieces and two nephews.
A brother Clarence Leary of Watertown, died in 1966. An infant son Daniel died in 1945. Three sisters also died in infancy.
Mrs. Kring was born in the Town of Rossie, Oct 16, 1904, a duaghter of Daniel and Edna Hunter Leary. She was graduated from Gouverneur High School and from the Potsdam Normal School, Potsdam, in 1929. She was a teacher in rural schools at Pope Mills, the California Road School in the town of Macomb, the Cedars School on the Black Lake Road, South Hammond and Rossie, before taking a teaching position in the Heuvelton Central School District. She retired in 1965.
On March 6, 1943, she was married to Lawrence I. Kring of Morristown, at the Catholic Church Rectory at Rossie, the ceremony being performed by the Rev. Cornelius Collins. The Krings lived on the Black Lake Road until 1950, when they moved to the Pleasant Valley Road, Hammond. In 1953, they purchased their farm home on the West Lake Road, Heuvelton.
Mrs. Kring was a member of St. Raphael's Church Parish, and the Rosary and Altar Society of the church.

OAK RIDGE, Tenn. — Ernest Verle "Ernie" Bogle, 99, of Oak Ridge passed away Friday December 18, 2009 at Methodist Medical Center.
Ernie was born September 27, 1910 on a farm near Pittsburg, Kansas to the late Francis White and Ina Smith Bogle.
He graduated from Pittsburg High School and later from Kansas State College in Manhattan, Kansas in 1933 with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and was a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity.
Ernie was married to his wife of 74 years Jane Orr Bogle on November 10, 1935.
Ernie started his career in engineering with the Kansas State Highway Commission in 1935 and along with his family moved to Rockwood, TN in 1940 where he was employed with the Tennessee Valley Authority as a field engineer in the Backwater Protection Section.
In 1942 they move to Knoxville and in 1944 he took a position with Tennessee Eastman and later with Union Carbide at the K-25 site from where he retired in 1975.
Ernie and his family moved to Oak Ridge in 1948 where they joined the First United Methodist Church and has remained an active and faithful member until his death.
Ernie enjoyed bowling and was a member of two senior leagues until earlier this year. He also was an avid golfer until the age of 90.
Along with his wife Jane they enjoyed square dancing, and traveling visiting numerous places including each state in the United States, Canada, Mexico, South America, Europe, Greece, Yugoslavia, and the Holy Land.
Ernie had a passion for photography all of his life and enjoyed sharing his travels with the photographs he took on the journeys.
Ernie was also a general handyman around the house and enjoyed working with wood making things for their home.
Including his parents Ernie is preceded in death in 1969 by his son Robert Verle Bogle who was a teacher at Oak Ridge High School, a brother George Mitchel Bogle in 1973, and his son-in-law Ed Lowry in 2004.
Ernie is survived by his loving wife Jane Orr Bogle of Oak Ridge, his daughter Janet Bogle of Atlanta, GA; nieces Mary Shultz of Pittsburg, Kansas and Alice Renn and he husband Daniel C. of Pittsburg, Kansas; nephew George Mitchel Bogle and his wife Lynnor of Pittsburg, Kansas; and several grand nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday December 23, 2009 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church with Pastor Stella Roberts and Pastor Mahan Archer officiating.
Interment will follow at Anderson Memorial Gardens.

BOGLE, JANE ORR age 95, of Oak Ridge, passed away Saturday January 9, 2010 at NHC of Oak Ridge. Jane was born December 24, 1914 in Kansas City, Missouri to the late Robert Mackie and Martha Ferguson Orr. Jane was a 1931 graduate of Pittsburg High School in Pittsburg, Kansas and from Kansas State Teachers College, now Pittsburg State University, in 1935. Jane married Ernest Verle Bogle on November 10, 1935 and their family moved to Rockwood, Tennessee in 1940 when Ernest started his employment with the Tennessee Valley Authority as a Construction Engineer. They later moved to Knoxville and Jane became a Red Cross Nurses Aide during World War II at Fort Sanders Hospital. In 1948 Ernest took a job with Union Carbide as an Engineer and their family moved to Oak Ridge.
Jane became an active member of First United Methodist Church where she served time on the Administrative Board and worked in the Church School. A member of the United Methodist Women's Association Jane also volunteered with the Contact Telephone Ministry from 1973 until 1998. Along with her husband Ernest they enjoyed square dancing, and traveling visiting numerous places including each state in the United States, Canada, Mexico, South America, Europe, Greece, Yugoslavia, and the Holy Land.
Including her parents, Jane is preceded in death by her husband of 74 years, Ernest V. Bogle, who passed away on December 18, 2009; her son, Robert Verle Bogle, a teacher at Oak Ridge High School; and son-in-law, James Edward Lowry. Jane is survived by her daughter, Janet Lynn Bogle of Atlanta, Georgia; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Olive Orr of Kelso, Washington; niece, Marcia Orr Ferrell and her husband, David, of Longview, Washington; nephew, John Robert Orr of Kelso, Washington; and several great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday January 13, 2010 2:00pm at First United Methodist Church of Oak Ridge with Pastor Stella Roberts and Pastor Mahan Archer officiating. Interment will follow at Anderson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1:00 to 2:00pm at the church. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be sent to First United Methodist Church 1350 Oak Ridge Turnpike Oak Ridge TN 37830 in memory of Ernie. Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
