Mohawk. Feb. 1.—At this home in Columbia street yesterday morning occurred the death of Philo Ackler. aged 72 years. He had been ill a long time, a complication of diseases causing his death. He is survived by his wife and one son. Charles B. Ackler of Boston; one brother. James L. Ackler of Columbia, and four sisters. Mrs, Emeline Gray and Mrs. Catharine Haggerty of Spinnersville and Mrs, Eve Getman and Mrs. Sally Getman of Columbia. The funeral will be private at his home Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. Mr. Smith, pastor of the M. E. Church, officiating.

Mohawk—Funeral services for Charles B. Ackler, 84, who died Tuesday in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Griffin, 89 W. Main St., were conducted at 2 p. m. today from the Graves Funeral Home, with the Rev. William A. Wilbur, Methodist minister, officiating. Buriai was in the Mohawk Cemetery.
Bearers were Irving McGuire, Ross Edick, Robert Johnston, i George Thornes, Earl Streeter and Edward Turner.
