  Miss Nancy Jane Eacker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orva M. Eacker, 200 North Chase street, became the bride of Cornelius G. Moynihan, son of Mrs. Irene Moynihan, 16 East Clinton atreet, and the late C. G. Moynihan, at a nuptial mass Saturday morning at 9:30 at St. Patrick's church.
  The double ring ceremony, before an altar decorated with white gladioli, was performed by the Rev. Edward J. Sheedy.
  Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of white satin with a rosepoint lace bodice and sleeves. The Peter Pan collar was edged with satin, and her full bouffant candlelight satin skirt flowed into a fan-shaped train. Her veil of imported French illusion was attached to a white satin cloche, trimmed with pearls and orange blossoms. She carried a white orchid and streamers on a prayer book.
  Miss Marguerite Moynihan, sister of the bridegroom, was maid of honor and wore a gown of pale  pink chantllly lace and net, trimmed with satin. The gown had a fitted bodice and a full ballerina length skirt. She wore matching mitts af lace and a pink satin cloche, trimmed with pearls and orange blossoms, similar to that of the bride. Her colonial bouquet was of Summer flowers.
  The bridesmaids, Miss Marilyn, Wilson of Albany and Miss Rosemary Ryan of this city, were attired in ballerina gowns of
aquamarine Chantilly lace and net of the same pattern as that of the maid of honor. They wore matching mitts, and aquamarine cloches similar to Misa Moynihan's and carried colonial bouquets.
  The beat man was Richard Maxian, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, and ushers were Richard Eacker, cousin of the bride, and Edgar Leonhardt, friend of the bridegroom.
  Mrs. Carroll S. Walsh, organist, played the traditional wedding music and the soloist, Miss Geraldine Corrigan of Schenectady, a college friend of the bride, sang, "Ave Maria," "On This Day, O Beautiful Mother," and "Panis Angelicus."
  The bride's mother wore a dark brown dress with gold accessories and the mother of the bridegroom wore beige with black accessories. Each had an orchid corsage.
  A wedding breakfast at the brlde's home followed the ceremony and at noon a reception was held at Union Hall. Later, the couple left on a wedding trip to Vermont. For her going away outfit, the bride chose a red and black checked suit with white accessories and an orchid corsage. On their return, they will set up residence in Albany.
  The bride was graduated from Johnstown High school in 1943, and attended the College of St. Rose in Albany. Recently, she was employed by the Baronet Lltho Letter Co., here. The bridegroom, who served with the U. S. Marine Air Corps, was graduate from Fonda High school in 1943, and attended Union and Oswego State Teachers' colleges. He is employed with the New York State Department of State in Albany as a photographer.
  Out-of-town guests were present from Chicago, Ill., Montreal, Que, Canada. Springfield, Mass., Long Island, East Middlebury, Vt, Champlain, Fort Edward, Watervliet, Whitsboro, Troy, Utica, Albany, Schenectady, Scotia, Amsterdam, Canajoharle, Fonda and Gloversville.

  NORTHVILLE — Maurice E. Fountain, 66, of Sacandaga Park died yesterday at his home after a long illness.
  Mr. Fountain owned and operated the GLF Seed and Grain Store until 1960 when he retired. He was clerk of the Wells School Board for several years. He was a member of the Board of Assessors for the Town of Northampton as well as a member of the Northampton Republican Club.
  Mr. Fountain was a member of the Wesleyan Church of Gloversville and secretary of the church's board. He served as music director of the church as well as working in the Sunday School department.
  Born in Wells, Mr. Fountain moved to Northville 35 years ago.
  Survivors include his widow, Hazel Young Fountain; two sons Billy Fountain of Indianapolis, Ind. and Bruce Fountain of Castile; a daughter, Mrs. James Snyder of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a sister, Mrs. Elwin Kibler of Broadalbin, six grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
  Funeral services will be held at the Claude A. Lipe Funeral Home, Northville at 2 p.m. tomorrow with the Rev. R. W. Williams, pastor of the Wesleyan Church of Gloversville officiating.
  Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Northville.

  NORTHVILLE - Miss Ina Young, daughter of the Rev. Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Young of Northville, a former teacher of English and French at Cornell-on-Hudson, N. Y., has been selected to attend the officers' training school of the Women's Auxiliary Corps at Des Moines, Iowa, on August 17. She has resigned her position in the Cornwall-on-Hudson High school where she has been teaching for the past four years.
  At Des Moines Miss Young will take an eight-week training course, Those satisfactorily completing the course will be granted commissions in the United States Army.
  Miss Young graduated from the Northville High school in 1934 and from the Teachers State College in
Albany in 1938.

  Miss Debra L. Perrone, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. Perrone of 490 North Main Street, became the bride of Airman l-c Steven L. Jennings, son of Mr. and Mrs. Guy L. Jennings of Mayfield RD 1, at a candlelight ceremony at 7 Saturday night at the Emmanuel Baptist Church. Rev. A. Warren Burns of Schenectady, performed the double ring ceremony.
  The altar was decorated with vases of white stock, sanpdragons and mums. A white runner covered the center aisle. Family pews were marked with white satin bows. Mrs. Horace Hallenbeck, organist, played, "Theme from Romeo and Juliet," "O Perfect Love," "Be Thou With Me" and "Because."
  The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white silkfaced taffeta Empire-styled gown designed with a round neckline, sequin-studded applique design on the bodice and a sheath skirt with an inverted pleat. A detachable chapel-length train, trimmed with a bow at the top and with matching lace and sequin trim, completed the gown. A matching double bow headpiece held her 3-tiered English illusion elbow-length veil She carried a lace-covered Bible trimmed with streames of white Stephanotis.
  Mrs. Karen Ambrosino of Gloversville, sister of the bride, was matron of honor in a gold ribbon-effect polyester gown over gold silk and a matching triple bud headpiece with a double face veil in gold. The gown was designed with a high, ruffle-edged neckline, see-through lantern sleeves and a sheath skirt. She carried a colonial bouquet of yellow miniature carnations with yellow sweetheart roses at the center.
  Miss Deborah Sandner and Miss Judith Rauer, both of Gloversville, bridesmaids, wore blue gowns and headpieces designed like that of the matron of honor. They carried colonial bouquets of blue carnations and sweetheart roses.
  Erin Wemple of Mayfield; niece of the bridegroom, was flower girl in a blue plain polyester gown over blue silk designed like that of the other attendants. She wore a headpiece of blue miniature carnations attached to a blue bow and long streamers at the back. She carried a miniature basket of blue carnations with yellow sweetheart roses at the center.
  Lisa Wemple of Mayfield, another niece of the bridegroom, was miniature bride in a white taffeta gown and bow headpiece with a tiered veil designed like that of the bride, The gown has a bow with long streamers at the back instead of a train. She carried a small colonial bouquet of miniature white carnations and stephanotis. Michael Ambrosino of Gloversville, nephew of the bride, was miniature bridegroom.
  Christopher Olson of Mayfield was best man. Ushers were Jarret Jennings of Freehold, N. J. and Donald Jennings of New York City, brothers of the bridegroom; Arthur Ambrosino, brother-in-law of the bride, and Robert Perrone, brother of the bride, both of Gloversville.
  The mother of the bride wore a turquoise silk brocade sleeveless dress and three-quarter sleeved coat ensemble with a matching feather headpiece and accessories. The mother of the bridegroom wore an aqua blue silk and linen blend sheath dress with a ring collar, a matching full-length coat and a matching whimsey and accessories. Both wore corsages of white Georganna orchids and stephanotis.
  A reception for 165 was held at the Johnstown Motor Inn after the ceremony with music provided by the Ralph Gardner orchestra. Guests attending were from New York City, Albany, Schenectady, Amsterdam, Glens Falls, Herkimer, New Jersey, Vermont and Connecticut.
  For the wedding trip to New Orleans, La., the bride chose a white lace blouse, brown skirt and sleeveless coat ensemble and matching accessories. The couple will reside at Ocean Springs, Miss.
  Both the bride and bridegroom are 1969 graduates of Mayfield Central School. The bride attended Fulton-Montgomery Community College. The bridegroom is serving with the Air Force, stationed at Biloxi, Miss., where he is attending electronics school.

  FORT PLAIN- Everett W. Hinkle, 59, of Fort Plain RD 2, died in Little Falls Hospital yesterday after a brief illness.
   Born in Palatine, Mr. Hinkle had lived in the area all his life and was employed as a dairy farmer until 1953 when he became employed at Vosburgh's Appliance Store in Canajoharie.
  He was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church of East Stone Arabia.
  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Leona VanDusen Hinkle; a daughter, Mrs. Sylvia Dettmer of Ballston Lake; a son, Milton Hinkle of Fonda; his stepfather and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Grover Borden of Fort Plain; a sister, Mrs. Francis Abel of Fort Plain; six grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

  Everett Hinkle and the former Leona Van Dusen were married Oct 20, 1934, by the Rev, Charles Kindt at the bride's home. Mrs. Francis Abel, sister of the bridegroom, and Gordon Van Dusen, brother of the bride, were the attending couple.

  Mrs. Camilla Abel Sanders, 95, formerly of Fort Plain, most recently of Post Avenue, Westbury, NY, died Sunday, May 22, 2011 at Syosset Hospital, Syosset, NY, following a brief illness.
  Born on December 21, 1915 in East Stone Arabia, NY, she was the daughter of Jacob Hinkle and Mabel Eaker Hinkle. She was a graduate of Canajoharie High School. Mrs. Sanders had been a resident of Westbury for the past 7 years, previously residing in Fort Plain.
   She was a member of the Grandview Baptist Church in Fort Plain.
  On November 23, 1939 Camilla married Francis Abel. He preceded her in death on October 19, 1986.
   Camilla married Milford D. Sanders on December 15, 1990. She was predeceased by her second husband on March 30, 2002.
   She was also predeceased by her brother, Everett Hinkle and step-sons, Stephen M. Sanders and Richard Sanders.
  Mrs. Sanders is survived by her daughter, Shirley Abel and daughter and son-in-law Lois and Herb Staffa all of Long Island, NY; step-sons, William C. Sanders of VA, Timothy E. Sanders of Canajoharie, NY; step-daughters, Shirley Purdy of St. Johnsville, NY, Barbara Sanders of Tribes Hill, NY, Beth Skottke of Fort Plain, NY; grandsons, Todd Herron of Cloquet, MN, Jason Abel of Lindenhurst, NY; great-grandchildren, Steven Abel, Krystal Abel, Jonathan Abel, Daniel Abel, Lincoln Severson; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; niece, Sylvia Dettmer of Nelliston, NY; nephew, Milton Hinkle of Scotia, NY.
  A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at 11:00am at the Chapel of Gray-Houghtaling & Smith Funeral Home, 34 Center Street, Fort Plain, NY with Rev. Carl Hawver officiating.
   The family received relatives and friends on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 from 5:00 to 8:00pm at the funeral home.
   Burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery in Fonda, NY.

  PALATINE BRIDGE. Nov. 26 — Miss Carmeta Hinkle, daughter of Mrs. Mabel Hinkle, of Stone Arabia, and Francis Abel, son of Mrs. Elizabeth Abel of Fort Plain, were married Thursday noon at the home of the bride's mother. Rev. Harlow Parsons of Johnstown performed the ceremony, using the Episcopal double ring service. Mrs. Harlow Parsons played the wedding marches.
  The bride wore a white velvet gown and fingertip veil, and carried white roses. Mrs. Ezra Abel of Fort Plain, matron of honor, wore royal blue velvet and carried yellow pompons. Ezra Abel was the best man. Beverly Jane Eacker was flower girl and Milton Hinkle 2-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Hinkle, was the ring-bearer. A Thanksgiving dinner was served to 40 guests after the ceremony.

  STONE ARABIA—A very pretty wedding took place Wednesday evening at 8 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Dunckel of Stone Arabia, when their daughter, Evelyn became the bride of Frederick Dean, son of Mrs. Alida Martin, of the same place. The ceremony was performed by Rev. E. R. Kruizenga, pastor of the Reformed church of Fort Plain. The. ring ceremony was used, the bride being given in marriage by her father. As the Lohengrin wedding march was played by Mrs. Alida Rury of Gloversville, the wedding party took their places beneath a beautiful bower of evergreen and bittersweet.
  The attendants were Miss Doris Dunckel, maid of honor, Willard Martin, best man, Florence Rury flower girl and Harold Martin, usher.
  The bride was gowned in white satin with white tulle veil and carried a large bouquet of white roses. The maid of honor wore yellow crepe and carried yellow roses.
  The entire color scheme was beautifully carried out in yellow and white.
  Immediately after the nuptials, a wedding supper was served, after which the newlyweds left on a trip to New York and Washington, D. C.
  The bride was the recipient of many beautiful and useful gifts. The bride presented the maid of honor with a compact and the flower girl with white gloves. The bridegroom's present to his best man was belt with initialed buckle, and to his usher a bill fold.
  Upon their return, Mr. and Mrs. Dean will reside at their home in Stone Arabia
