Mrs. Minnie Hime Kennedy, Palatine Bridge RD, died early Sunday morning at the Canajoharie Nursing Home following a long illness.
She was born in Stone Arabia, the daughter of John and Carrie Buck Hime.
Mrs. Kennedy was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and the Willing Workers of the church.
Survivors include her husband, David Kennedy, Palatine Bridge RD; a daughter, Mrs. A Robert Zywieki, Palatine Bridge; a grandson, Paul Zywieki, a niece and nephews.
Funeral services were held from the Houghtaling Funeral Home at 2 p.m. today with the Rev. Theodore Hammer, pastor of St, John's and St Mark's Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment will be made in Sts. Peter and Paul's Cemetery in the spring.

FULTONVILLE—The marriage of David Kennedy of Palatine Bridge, son of Michael Kennedy of Fultonville and Miss Minnie Hime of Palatine Bridge was solemnised on Saturday afternoon at the rectory of St. Peter's and St. Paul's church, at Canajoharie with the ceremony being performed by Rev.
Father John H. Raady. The attendants were Mrs. Aaron Hime, sister-in-law of the bride and John Kennedy of Fultonville, brother of the bridegroom.
Mrs. Kennedy is employed in the office of the Beech-Nut plant at Canajoharie. Mr. Kennedy is employed as mechanic at the Spraker garage in Palatine Bridge. Mr. and Mrs. Kennedy are popular young people and are held in high esteem by a host of friends, who wish them happiness and success. Mr. and Mrs. Kennedy left on a motor trip to Niagara Falls and Canada, and on their return will reside at Paltine Bridge.

Aaron E. Hime, 70, a former resident of Palatine Bridge, died March 2 at Walton Hospital in Delaware County.
He was born Aug. 3, 1901, in Stone Arabia, a son of John and Caroline Hime.
Mr. Hime has resided in Walton since 1936.
The survivors include one sister, Mrs. David Kennedy of Palatine Bridge, one niece, two uncles and three grandchildren.

Walton—Funeral of Chief Radioman Roy L. Hime, 36, of Walton, who died Monday at Ellsworth (Maine) Memorial Hospital, will be at 3 p. m. Friday.
CRm Hime died of natural causes, the commanding officer of the Cutler Navy Radio Station reported. Cmdr. J. J. Zammit said an autopsy showed that he died of pancreatitis.
The Walton native, son of Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Hime of 16 Rancher Avenue, Walton, was found unconscious Monday in one of the barracks on the Maine base.
Dr. Karl Larson, medical examiner, who was called to the scene, ordered the man removed to the Ellsworth Memorial Hospital, where he died a few hours later.
CRm Hime was born March 31, 1925, the son of Aaron and Iva Owens Hime. He was a graduate of Walton Central School, class of 1943, and entered the service the same year.
CRm Hime was a member of Christ Episcopal Church here, Walton American Legion Post, Masonic Lodge 599, and Elks Lodge 1312 of Oneonta.
Surviving besides his parents, is a brother, Gary, of Walton.
The Rev. Arthur W. Abraham, rector of Christ Episcopal Church, will officiate at the funeral. Burial will be in Walton Cemetery.

The wedding ceremony took place in the United Presbyterian Church with the pastor, the Rev. J. M. Findley Brown, officiating.
The church was decorated with laurel and rambler roses. Wedding music was played by Mrs. Joseph McClelland, organist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Her gown was of white lace bodice with Peter Pan collar and floor length nylon skirt. Her fingertip veil of white nylon tulle fell from a head band of pearls and she carried white roses with babies'-breath flowers.
Miss Catherine Stanton of Walton was the maid of honor and she chose a strapless yellow ballerina lengt gown with matching jacket, lace mitts, and head clip of yellow net. She carried pink carnations with blue corn flowers.
Roy L. Hime of the Naval Receiving Station, Anacostia, Washington D. C., was his brother's best man. Ushers were Robert Owens of the Naval Air Station, Patuxent River, Maryland, Lawrence Owens, Jr., of Norwich, Leonard Owens of Bainbridge, all cousins of the bridegroom, and Donald E. Granger of Walton, brother of the bride.
A reception for 150 guests was held in the church parlors immediately following the ceremony.
The couple is residing at 95 Norht Street in Walton.

MISS TARA ANN HIME, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred A. Hime, Riverside Drive, Fultonville, became the bride of John Russell Bennett, 11 Second Ave., Gloversville, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. Harvey Bennett, R.D. 2, Goode St., Ballston Spa, Saturday at 8 p.m.
The Rev. G. F. Bristol performed the ceremony at the Fultonville Methodist Church. The church was decorated with white bows on the family pews, white flowers on the altar, candles at the windows and candlelabra on the altar.
The organist, Mrs. W. A. T. Cassedy, played traditional wedding selections.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a silk organza sheath with Chantilly lace jacket made with long pointed sleeves. The fitted bodice was embroidered with sequins and pearls and the skirt had an attached train. A pearl and lace crown held her butterfly veil, and she carried a cascade with garlands of miniature white carnations around center of Eucharis lilies accented with ivy.
MRS. GILBERT TINNEY, Clifton Park, was the matron of honor. Miss Judy Johnson, Albany, was the bridesmaid. They were attired in yellow linen sheaths with Empire waists trimmed with hunter green velvet ribbon. They wore green shoes and headpieces of green cabbage roses with veil. They carried cascades of yellow and white pompoms accented with ivy and centered with yellow roses.
Robert A. Bennett, Ballston Spa, was the best man, and Edward P. Bennett, Ballston Spa, was an usher.
The wedding reception was held in the church parlors. Mrs. Hime wore a rose silk organza dress made with pleated skirt and draped bodice, folwered hat and corsage of white pompons. The bridegroom's mother selected a beige suit with beige accessories and corsage of white pompons.
For a wedding trip the bride chose an aqua wool suit with silver fox collar and corsage of Eucharis lillies.
Mrs. Bennett is a graduate of the Fonda-Fultonville Central School and the Mildred Elley Secretarial School. She is employed by the Noteworthy Co., Amsterdam.
The bridegroom, wheo attended the Balston Spa. High School, is employed by Subik Enterprises, Johnstown.
The couple will reside ar 11 North Main St., Fultonville.

FONDA - Mrs. Nina A. Hime, 54, a native and former resident of Fonda, died yesterday morning in the Glens Falls Hospital where she had been a patient for two days. She resided in South Glens Falls.
Born in Fonda on Dec. 15, 1913, she was the daughter of William and Alice Burke Showerman. She was married to George Hime on Oct. 2, 1936, in Fonda.
She and her husband moved to Lake George in 1954, then three years later, to South Glens Falls, where Mrs. Hime was employed at the Triple S Redemption Center. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Glens Falls.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son John Hime, and a daughter, Mrs. David Fearis, both of South Glens Falls; two brothers, Kenneth Showerman of Hanover N.H. and Stanley Showerman, Binghamton; two sisters, Mrs. Cecile Mesick, Guilderland and Mrs. Florence Elks. Glenfield, also two grandchildren, aunts, uncles nieces and nephews.
The body was brought to Fonda where funeral services will b eheld Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Jackson Funeral Home. The Rev. Jack H. Millard, pastor of the Fonda Reformed Church, will officiate. Burial will be made in Evergreen Cemetery, Fonda.

FONDA — Harold J. Hime, 54, Orlando, Fla., a former Fonda resident, died Tuesday afternoon at his home following an extended illness.
Mr. Hime was born March 24, 1909 in Palatine Bridge, a son of Jacob and Mae Crangle Hime. As a youth he moved to Fonda and attended the local schools. He was married to Clara Telfer of Randall, who survives him. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Ray Hime of Orlando, Fla.; two daughters, Mrs. Clark Rogers of Tampa, and Mrs. Edward Ingam of Tallahassee; his father, Jacob Hime of Fonda; and 10 grandchildren.
A graveside service ,will be held Saturday afternoon at Evergreen Cemetery, Fonda, at the family's convenience.

FULTONVILLE—Donald H. Dorn, 66, of 18 Washington Street, died at 6 last night in Littauer Hospital, Gloversville, where he had been a patient for five days. He had been in failing health for the last several months.
Born in Palatine on June 14, 1909, he was the son of Fred and Emma Hime Dorn. He received his education in Johnstown schools.
Mr. Dorn was a carpenter and contractor in this area for 40 years and for the last three years was the village's building inspector. For 10 years he was employed by F. G. Dimond, Inc.
He married the former Blanche King, who survives, on July 19, 1958. In 1955 he moved to Fort Hunter and came to Fultonville 10 years later.
In addition to his wife, he Is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Richard Havlicek of Central Valley and Mrs. George Quiri of Easton, Md.; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Jack Fitzgibbons of Schenectady; three stepsons, Richard Garber of Gloversville, Ronald Garber of Gaithersburg, Md., and Donald Garber of Fultonville and nine grandchildren.

Mrs. Alice Frances Dorn, 44, of Fort Hunter former resident of this city and wife of Donald H. Dorn, Gloversville, died at 8:55 last night in St. Mary's Hospital, Amterdam.
She had been in ill health four months, and entered the hospital four weeks ago.
Mrs. Dorn was born in the Bronx, New York City, June 8, 1911, daughter of Chester and Frances (Merkle) Knoll.
The family moved to Gloversville when she was six years olf, and she lived there until her marriage on Feb. 14, 1930.
She and her husband made their home here until 1952 when they moved to Fort Hunter.
Since 1948 she has been employed as forelady in the shipping department of the Superb Glove Co. Mrs. Dorn was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Churh and the Women of the Moose.
The survivors are her husband: two daughters, Mrs. George Quiri, Amsterdam RD 2, and Mrs, Richard Havlicek, Scotia: her mother, Mrs, Abram Sesonske, Gloversville; two sisters, Mrs. Jack Doak, Wilmington, Calif., and Mrs Walter Gifford, Mayfield: three brothers, Ernest Knoll of Coscobe, Conn., Marvin of Altamont, and Ronald of Mayfield; also one granddaughter.

The double ring ceremony was performed at the parsonage of the Reformed Church in Fonda at 6:30 that night by Rev. John F. Egy. Mr. and Mrs. William Dorn of Johnstown were the attendants. The newlyweds are residing in Fort Hunter.

Critically injured when a heavily loaded hay rig tipped over Saturday afternoon, Frederick J. Dorn aged 31, well known young farmer of the Sammonsville secttion and former resident of this city, died last night about 9 in St Mary's hospital, Amsterdam.
The tragic mishap happened about 4:30 on his own farm on the road leading from Sammonsville to Fonda, just on the outskirts of the village.
Mr. Dorn. together with his father and a hired man were loading hay using a tractor, hay rig and loader with the younger Dorn on top.
The load was a large one and for some unexplained reason, either because it was top heavy or one one-sided, it overturned the hay rig and young Dorn was thrown to the ground falling heavily on the back of his head and shoulders.
He was carried to the house and Dr. Austin Hogan of Johnstown was called. He attended the injured man until Sunday afternoon, when he was moved to the hospital, where the case was turned over to Dr. William Seward of Amsterdam, and a specialist were called in.
Mr, Dorn's condition was serious from the first and X-rays taken showed his chances of recovery were very slight. They disclosed that he was suffering from fractured vertebrae, severed spinal cord and fractured skull. Despite the seriousness of his injuries, he was conscious almost to the end.
Frederick J. Dorn was born at Palatine Bridge on August 21, 1911, the son of Frederick A. and Emma Hime Dorn. He attended the Johnstown public schools, also Johnstown High school.
He was a plumber by trade and was employed as such for some time by Fred Lynes in this city. In 1934, he was united in marriage to Ruth Farrant of Johnstown R. D. In 1939, the couple purchased a farm at Sammonsville, which they had since conducted.
The survivors, besides his widow, are one daughter, Carol; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Dorn of Johnstown; two brothers, Donald and William, of Johnstown; also several nieces and nephews.
The body was removed to the Wasaung & Brown Funeral Home where the funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 2.30.
The Rev. Andrew L. Dillenbeck, D. D., of St. Mark's Lutheran church will officiate and burial will be made in Evergreen cemetery at the Sand Flats.

A very pretty wedding took place Saturday afternoon at 2, when Miss Ruth E. Farrant, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marcus G. Farrant, O'Neil avenue, became the bride of Fred J. Dorn, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dorn, 5 Whitmore avenue.
Rev. Andrew J. Dillenbeck, D. D., pastor of St. Mark's Lutheran church performed the ceremony which took place on the lawn of the home, where an artistic arrangement of palms and white hydrangeas made a charming setting.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Miss Alice Farrant, sister ot the bride was maid of honor and Miss Marvette Jenner of this city was bridesmaid. Donald H. Dorn, brother of the bridegroom acted as best man and Marcus C. Farrant, brother of the bride, the usher.
The bride was charmingly gowned in white organdie and carried a bouquet of pale cream colored roses.
The maid of honor wore yellow organdie, while the bridesmaid wore blue organdie. Each carried an arm bouquet of Summer flowers. After the ceremony a wedding reception was held and refreshments served.
Mr. and Mrs. Dorn left later amid a shower of congratulations and felicitations from their many friends for a wedding trip to Canada and thence through the New England states.
Mrs. Dorn is a graduate of the Johnstown High school and the Oneonta State Normal and a member of the Agonlan sorority. For the past two years she has been teaching in the Scotch Bush school. Mr. Dorn attended the Johnstown High school and is a member of the Dorn Brothers trucking concern. Both Mr. and Mrs. Dorn are well known and popular among their wide circle of friends.

William U. Dorn, 61, of 4 Whitmore Avenue, was pronounced dead on arrival at Littauer Hospital, Gloversville, at 4 this morning after being stricken at his home.
He was born Feb. 19, 1914, in Canajoharie, the son of Frederick A. and Emma Hime Dorn. He came to Johnstown in 1922 and was graduated from Johnstown High School in 1933.
Mr. Dorn was a tea salesman for Red Rose for 32 years, the last 27 as district manager. He was s member of the Reformed Church.
He married the former Margaret Biron, who survives, June 1, 1935.
Survivors, besides his wife, include one son, William R. Dorn of Johnstown RD 1; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Gisondi of Slingerlands; a brother, Donald H. Dorn of Fultonville, three grandsons, three nieces and several cousins.

The attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Heman Robbins of Gloversville. The bride presented her attendant with a white pigskin pocketbook and the bridegroom gave the best man a belt set. The couple will reside at 64 North Boulevard.

Miss Pamela Y. Goot, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John C. Goot of 3 Matthew Street, and William R. Dorn, son of Mr. and Mrs. William U. Dorn of 4 Whitmore Avenue, were married at 11 Saturday morning.
The single ring ceremony was performed in a setting of white gladiolas and palms at the First Reformed Church by Rev. Albert N. Studley, pastor. Mrs. Lyall Hutchinson was organist.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a ballerina length gown of white lace over taffeta, scoop neckline, fitted bodice and long pointed sleeves. The skirt was designed with a panel front and ruffled tiers of lace. Her headpiece was a pearlized crown of blossoms and petals and she had a ballerina length veil of Swiss imported illusion lace.
Mrs. John R. Goot of Johnstown, sister-in-law of the bride, was the matron of honor. She wore a blue linen dress, blue hat with a light blue veil, and carried a bouquet of white carnations and pink roses.
Robert R. Goot of Johnstown, brother of the bride, was the best man. Henry T. Zajicek was the usher.
The bride's mother wore a 2-piece charcoal and white linen dress, white hat and a corsage of pink carnations and roses. The mother of the bridegroom wore a 2-piece pink silk dress.
After the ceremony a reception was held at the Pine Tree Rifle Club with about 300 in attendance. The bride wore a white cotton and lace dress for a wedding trip to the northern New England States. The couple will reside at Johnstown RD 1.
The bride is a graduate of Johnstown High School and is employed as a cashier at the Central Market, Johnstown.
The bridegroom attended Johnstown schools and is employed as a mason by William Schreivogl of Johnstown.
Guests attended from Tennessee, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Washington, DC, Rochester, Northville, Gloversville
and Fonda.
Gifts were presented to the members of the wedding party at a gathering after the rehearsal Friday night at the church.

Mrs. Lelah Carpenter, 64, Fort Plain RD 2, died Friday morning in the Palatine Nursing Home.
She was born August 29, 1910, in Palatine Bridge, a daughter of Elmer and Rebecca Hime Dillenbeck. She had resided in the area
her entire life.
Mrs. Carpenter was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Stone Arabia, and Stone Arabia Grange.
She was married Sept. 12, 1928, to Gordon Carpenter, who died Sept. 14, 1974.
Surviving are one son, Gordon Carpenter, Jr., St. Johnsville RD 1; three daughters, Mrs. Beverly Christman, Palatine Bridge RD 1, Mrs. Simone Oakley, Little Falls RD 3, Mrs. Kaihryn Gibbs, Endwell; two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Tallman, Fort Plain, and Mrs. Ruth Austin, Palatine; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The funeral was held Sunday at 1:45 p.m. at the Swartz Funeral Home with Rev. Theodore Hammer, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, Stone Arabia, officiating. Interment will be made in the spring in Fort Plain Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or the Mid-County Volunteer Ambulance Service.

FORT PLAIN — Funeral services for Gordon Carpenter, 73, will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Swartz Funeral Home. Mr. Carpenter, of RD 2 Fort Plain died Saturday at the Johnstown Hospital.after a long illness.
Born in the town of Palatine, Mr. Carpenter was a self-employed dairy farmer for many years retiring in 1969. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Stone Arabia. Mr. Carpenter was a member of the Stone Arabia Grange and the Ephratah Rod and Gun Club.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lela Dillenbeck Carpenter; a son, Gordon Carpenter Jr. of RD 1, St. Johnsville; three daughters, Mrs. Beverly Christman, RD 1 Palatine Bridge, Mrs. Simone Oakley of Little Falls RD 3, Mrs. Kathryn Gibbs of Endwell; three brothers, William C. Carpenter and Leon Carpenter both of RD Fonda and Edward Carpenter of Fonda; two sisters, Mrs. Edna Furman of Fonda and Mrs. Gladys Barber of Canajoharie, and seven grandchildren.
The Rev. Theodore Hammer, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Fort Plain Cemetery.

Miss Kathryn Jane Carpenter of Albany, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon J. Carpenter of Fort Plain, became the bride of Lawrence M. Gibbs. son, of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence E. Gibbs of Endicott on Aug. 3.
Rev. Theodore Hammer, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, Stone Arabia, performed the ceremony in tho church at 8 o'clock in the evening. Bouquets of pink ftnd white asters were used in decoration. Mrs. Charles Pultz of Palatine Bridge, organist, played the traditional wedding music and sang "I Love You Truly."
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of white nylon net and lace over taffeta, the ballerina skirt fashioned with apron effect of lace. Her nylon veil was attached to a cap of lace and seed pearls. She carried a colonlal bouquet of white asters and baby's breath centered with white roses.
Miss Simone Ann Carpenter, sister of the bride, was maid of honor, wearing a dress of mint green nylon chiffon with headband of mint green roses. Her colonial bouquet was of yellow roses.
James Gibbs was his brother's best man. Jack Boylan of Old Forge and Gordon J. Carpenter Jr., brother of the bride, ushered.
A reception at the home of the bride's parents followed the ceremony. After a wedding trip to the New York city area, Mr. and Mrs. Gibbs will be at home at 408 Arthur avenue, Endicott.
The bride is a graduate of Fort Plain Central School and Albany Business College. She has been employed as a stenographer in the Civil Service department of New York State at Albany. The bridegroom, a graduate of Union Endicott High and Albany College of Pharmacy,is employed by L. F. Hamlin, Inc., pharmscists, at Endicot.
