ST. JOHNSVILLE - Ambrose Crouse died very suddenly Sunday morning at his residence in Minden, south of this village. Mr. Crouse was in town Saturday night In his usual health. Sunday morning he had done the usual morning chores, and after breakfast was about his yard, when he suddenly fell to the ground and was dead before any one could reach him. Mr. Crouse was 61 years old, and is survived by a widow, but leaves no children. Two brothers, Aaron and Alonzo, reside in this village. Ambrose C. Crouse, editor of the St. Johnsville News, is the son of his deceased brother, Henry.

Nicholas Weaver passed away Saturday at the home of his daughter. Mrs. Martha Stahl, in the town of Oppenheim, where for many years he had been a well known and, highly respected farmer.
Mr. Weaver was born 89 years ago and had always lived in that section. He was a brother of the late John P. Weaver of Dolgeville. Death was due' to a general decline in health.
