McCLOSKEY, DORIS FRELING, 84, of St. Petersburg, died Monday (July 11, 2005) at Palms of Pasadena Hospital, South Pasadena. She was born in Westfield, N.Y., and moved to St. Petersburg from Lowville, N.Y., where she was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She was a homemaker, a leader of two 4-H clubs, and actively involved in the Girl Scouts in New York. Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Fred; two sons, David Fred McCloskey, Helsingborg, Sweden, and Dale "Chip" McCloskey, Zephyrhills; a daughter, V. Michal Pedersen, Old Forge, N.Y.; a sister, Grace Carlson, Fort Myers; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. National Cremation Society, Largo.
