BRADFORD-Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Vine announce the engagement of their daughter, Susan Bernice, to Garry Edwin Kosmoski, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin J. Kosmoski, West Winfield.
Miss Vine is a graduate of Bradford Central School and SUNY, Oneonta, where she received a BA degree in home economics education. She will teach in the Sauquoit Valley Central School.
Kosmoski is a graduate of West Winfield Central School. He attended SUNY Cortland, and is employed by Ed Philips Construction Co., Cooperstown.

David Howard Fenton 1941-2020 - New York Mills –
David H. Fenton, 78, of New York Mills, NY and formerly of West Winfield, NY, went to be with his Lord, May 26, 2020, at Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare.
He was born, July 9, 1941, in Utica,, NY, the son of Howard F. Fenton and Mildred Ward Fenton.
David was educated at West Winfield Central School graduating class of 1959. Following graduation, he took courses in small engine repair. He married Joan Price Boff in Utica, on March 16, 1974. She died on May 28, 2014. Mr. Fenton worked as a gas station attendant briefly after graduation from high school before being employed by the West Winfield Post office in 1960 and worked for 43 years until his retirement in 2003. He established many friendships along his route, and always enjoyed the children who often treated him with cookies.
He was a member of Hope Alliance Church. Other interests and hobbies included: cars, reading and studying his Bible, family gatherings, reading to "his kids" where he volunteered as a foster Grandpa, playing his piano, he knew many hymns and Gospel songs and was able to play by ear, loved listening to music and watching reruns of Andy Griffith, Bonanza, and A Christmas Story movie which was a favorite.
Survived by; daughter Sheila (Richard) Scibior of Cassville, NY, son John Boff (Debbie) of Waterville, NY, sister Marilyn Fenton Reed of Mebane, NC; brothers Tom (Jean) Fenton of Prospect Hill, NC and Steve (Diane) Fenton of Clifton Forge, VA; niece Susan Slabe of Ilion, NY; and nephews Jay (Donna) Fenton of Middletown, DE and Stephen (Sarah) Fenton of Mebane, NC. David also is survived by his 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; and several cousins.
He is predeceased by his parents, wife Joan, son Robert Boff.
Family would like to thank all those doctors, nurses and medical professionals who made his last couple of months as comfortable as possible, as well as all the prayer warriors from his daughter's Church, Sister's Church, Brother's Churches and the multitude of friends that supported David's family as they tried to encourage him throughout his journey.
Funeral will be private for immediate family. A celebration of life will be held at Hope Alliance Church, later in the year, when the Church will be able to be opened up for all. Interment will be in Crown Hill Memorial Park.

Joan M. Fenton, 76, went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 28, 2014, at Sitrin Health Care Center. She was born March 2, 1938 in Utica, a daughter of Arvon and Grace Laribee Price.
Joan was a graduate of Whitesboro Central High School. She was previously married to the late Kenneth Boff. Later, she married David H. Fenton, in Utica, on March 16, 1974.
Mrs. Fenton was employed by Marcy Psychiatric Center, and Eden Park Nursing Home. She had great artistic ability and was talented crocheting and sewing. She was an excellent baker, and loved to play BINGO.
Besides her husband survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Richard Scibior, Cassville; son, Robert Boff, Philippines; son and daughter-in-law, John and Deborah Boff, Deansboro; and Robert Rodriguez who was like a son to her; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Sandi Price, Utica; brother Ken Price, Louisiana; nieces and nephews; and one aunt.
She was predeceased by a brother, John Price; and a sister, Judi Zammiello.
The family expresses special thanks to everyone at Sitrin Health Care for their kindness.
Funeral services will be Monday, 11:00 a.m., at Hope Alliance Church, 4297 Middle Settlement Rd, New Hartford. Interment will follow at Crown Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be Monday, at the church, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral.

Marriage Notes for William Harold Naylor and Eleanor Kay Love

ILION — Miss Eleanore Kay Love, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Love, Ilion Gorge, was married recently to William H. Naylor, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Naylor, West Winfield.
The double ring ceremony was performed Dec. 11 at the Love home by the Rev. Elwood Kemmer, Unadilla Forks. Attending the couple were Mrs. Elaine Soils, sister of the bride, Ilion, and John Brooks, cousin of the bridegroom, West Exeter.
The bride was attired in a cotillion blue velvet suit, with a matching headdress. Her corsage was a white orchid. The matron of honor wore a dawn gray suit, with a corsage of yellow roses.
Guests were Mr. and Mrs. William Gould, Clayville, Mr. and Mrs. John Brooks, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Naylor, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Soils Mr. and Mrs. Reginald Love and daughter, Linda, and Mrs. Richard Love, son, Lance, and daughter Kathleen.
Following a reception at the bride’s home, the couple left for a short wedding trip. They will make their home on a farm near West Winfield where he is associated with his father. Both are 1954 graduates of West Winfield Central School.

Nancy Lee Warren of Daytona Beach, Florida has passed away at the age of 77 in Higdon, AL. Nancy was born in Oil City, Pennsylvania on May 14 th, 1938 and died on September 2 nd, 2015. Nancy is survived by her husband James Lewis Warren Jr. of 58 years, her brother Charles Lockhart of Austell, GA and children Michael Warren of Higdon, AL and Linda Warren of Port Orange, FL. She was proud to have 4 loving grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Nancy was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed camping, bowling, playing cards, and raising dogs. In lieu of flowers, her husband would like to accept donations in Nancy's name to the Hospice program which provided their time, resources and support to the family. Woman, Nephew Hurt In Separate Mishaps
Mrs. Dorothy Orcutt, aged 28, of West Winfield, RD, and her nephew, Timothy E. Seamon, are both in the Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown, after both were struck by automobiles in two separate accidents.
Mrs. Orcutt is still in "critical" condition in the hospital after being injured Thursday night when she was struck by a car near West Winfield on Route 51 about one mile north of Route 20. She suffered fractures of both legs, a broken foot, a broken shoulder blade, concussion, multiple cuts and bruises and internal injuries.
State Police of East Herkimer said the woman had stepped around a hay wagon when she was struck by a car driven by Thomas A. Kilty, aged 28, of West Winfield. Mrs. Orcutt was carried on the hood of the car for 70 feet before falling to the pavement, troopers said.
The parked hay wagon was being towed by a tractor driven by her husband, Warren Orcutt.
Mrs. Orcutt's nephew, Timothy, aged 5, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Seamon of Richfield Springs, RD 2, was taken to Bassett Hospital on Sunday for treatment of a fractured right leg and multiple abrasions after being struck by a car oh the Ryder Valley. Road in the Town of Exeter about three miles west of the Schuyler Lake village.

Warren B. Orcutt, 65, of Schenectady, died Friday, Oct. 30, at hit home after a long illness.
Mr. Orcutt was born and educated in Bridgewater, moving to Schenectady 20 years ago.
He served with the U. S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Orcutt was employed at Schenectady Steel Company, retiring in 1993.
He was a former member of the Teamsters Union.
Survivors include his widow. Dorothy, of Sharon Springs; three daughters, Elaine Slater of Schoharie, Jeanette Orcutt of Lawyersville and Lisa Gray of Cobleskill; a son Harold Orcutt of Schohane; two sisters, Lois Davis of Leonardsville and Deista Wakefield of Chadwick; brothers, the Rev. Neal Orcutt and Robert Orcutt, both of Bridgewater, the Rev. Wayne Orcutt of Mary-Ester, FL and Frank Orcutt of Leonardsville; eight grandchildren.
The funeral service was conducted Wednesday. Nov. 4, at White-VanBuren Funeral Home, Delanson.
A calling hours was observed preceding the service.
