- Claudia Myrtle married Frank Charles Stever 20 Dec 1912
while they were married, they had three children, William Ira Stever b 1913, Frank Lawrence Stever b 1915 and Claudia 'Bernice' Stever b 1919. The details of the boys are sketchy at best. At the time of their divorce, the boys went with their father and Bernice went with her mother. Bernice was about 3 at the time and only remembers standing at the train station with her brothers in their white shirts and nickers style pants. Their mother was crying and trying to fuss about the boy's hair and clothes. She has a vivid memory of the boys' departure, and this was the last time that she saw either of her brothers until they were well into adulthood. Claudia Myrtle later remarried Kenneth Rogers Lewis. Claudia 'Bernice' was adopted by him. The pair had no further children. (Kinkle)
