Tha marriage of Mlsa Gladys E. Hyde, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hyde, 19 East Madison avenue, to Angelo Entelisano, son of Mr and Mrs. Frank Entelisano. 1 West Fulton street, was solemnlead Saturday night at 7 in the parsonage of St. Pauls Lutheran church by the Rev. Wilmer M. Zuehlke.
Miss Madolyn Hyde, sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid, and William Tagliaferri was best man.
Preceding the ceremony a dinner was served at the home of the bride's parents and a reception was held there after the ceremony. There were about fifty relatives and friends present at the reception.
The attendants were presented with personal gifts.
Later the newlyweds left on a week-end wedding trip and have taken up their residence at 24 West Main street.
Mr Entelisano is employed at the Borman Sheep Lined Coat Co. factory and Mrs. Entelisano is employed in the Triangle Finishing Co. plant.

After the wedding, a reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. D. Beantin, Corpus Christi.
The bridegroom and his parents resided inJohnstown until 1958, and he attended Johnstown High School. He is stationed with the Navy at Corpus Christi.

Ronald Shults of Poughkeepsie was best man and Gary Lampman, brother of the bridegroom and Michael Kelly, brother of the bride, were ushers.
The mother of bride wore a yellow chiffon dress with daisies accenting the neckline and waist. She wore white accessories and a white orchid corsage.
The mother of the bridegroom wore an apricot dress with a matching coat and matching accessories. She also had a white orchid corsage.
A reception for 100 was held at the Ramada Inn at Liverpool and guests attended from New Jersey, Connecticut, California Poughkeepsie, Dansville, Syracuse and Johnstown.

U. S. ATLANTIC FLEET AMPHIBIOUS TRAINING BASE, LITTLE CREEK, Va., (Special)
Alton E. House, a former resident of Johnstown, N. Y. whose wife and four-year old daughter now reside in Washington, N. J., has been chosen by the Navy to serve aboard an LSM (Landing Ship, Medium), the speed carrier of attack that has been especially developed for Pacific duty.
Now stationed at the Amphibious Training Base in Little Creek, Virginia, House is going through the rigorous training program to prepare for duty as radarman on the swift new invasion vessel.
The amphibious ship on which the former Johnstown resident will serve has been designed with a shallow dra'ft that enables it to negotiate the coral reefs of the Pacific islands It can cross the ocean with its cargo of tanks and machines and discharge them directly onto enemy-held shores over its landing ramp bow.
House was employed at the General Electric Company in New York City before he joined the Navy in June of this year. He graduated from Johnstown High School in 1931.
William J. House, his brother, is also serving wtth the U. S. Navy with the rating of Motor Machinist's Mate Second Class. The two men are the sons of Mr. and Mrs. William House who reaide on Rural Route No. 2 in Johnstown.

The bride was attractively gowned in wine colored velvet with matching accessories, and wore a corsage of roses. Her maid of honor also wore wine colored velvet with matching accessories and a corsage of roses.
Following the ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. House left for a wedding trip to New York city.
The bride is a graduate of Gloversville High school, class of 1939, and a member of Delta Gamma Delta sorority.
The bridegroom is employed at Glovecraft in Johnstown and was graduated with the 1934 class of Johnstown High school.

Sunday, May 20, 2001, Charles E. House Charles E. House, 81, of East Fourth Avenue, Johnstown, died Saturday, May 19, at Nathan Littauer Hospital after a long illness.
Born Oct. 11, 1919, in Johnstown, he was the son of William and Emma Eagan House and attended Johnstown schools.
Mr. House worked as a textile dyer for 16 years at Tricot Fabrication, Dolgeville, retiring in 1980 due to illness.
He was of the Protestant faith.
On Nov. 16, 1968, he married the former Eileen Leroux, who survives in
Johnstown. In addition to his wife, survivors include three sons, David House of Arizona, John House of Meco and Alan House of Amsterdam; two step-sons, Kevin Bradley of Fultonville and Robert Bradley Jr. of Fonda; one brother, William House of Johnstown; two sisters, Marilyn Devoe of Gloversville and Elizabeth Montanye of Johnstown; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Bernice House; a brother, Alton House; and
a sister, Catherine Lampman.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Barter & Donnan Funeral Home with
Rev. Jack Millard, pastor of the Johnstown Reformed Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Ferndale Cemetery, Johnstown.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Barter & Donnan
Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or a
charity of one's choice.

Mrs. Bernice M. House, 49, of 208 East Fourth Avenue, died at 12:05 this morning at Johnstown Hospital where she had been under care for the last three months.
Born June 8, 1918, in Johnstown, she was the daughter of the late Archibald and Gladys Race Mc Clelland and had been a lifelong city resident.
Mrs. House was employed as a machine operator at Crescendoe Glove Company until entering the hospital.
She was a member of the College Town Merchants Bowling League, the Perry Lanes Club and the Married Couples Bowling League in Gloversville. She was also a member of Christ Lutheran Church.
Survivors are her husband, Charles E. House; two sons, John C. House of Johnstown and David A. House, stationed with the Marines at Camp LeJeune, N.C; two sisters, Mrs. Joseph Harrington of Schenectady and Mrs. Samuel Hillabrandt of Gloversville; two brothers, Robert Mc Clelland of Johnstown and William Mc Clelland of Meco; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Romayne Palmateer, 55, of 1553 Northwest 15th avenue, Fort Lauderdale. Fla., died Monday evening. Aug 10, at the Broward General Medical Center, Fort Lauderdale. Fla., following a long illness.
Mr. Palmateer was born in Amsterdam June 11, 1915, son of Albert and Anna Palmateer.
A former resident of Amsterdam and Canajoharie, he had resided in Florida for the past 22 years.
Survivors include his wife, the former Katherine Elder; five sons, Gary Romayne, John Douglas, both of Pompano Beach, Fla.; David Niel, Charlotte. N.C., Michael Elder, Alexandria, La., and Danny K., at home; his mother. Mrs Anna Palmateer, Fort Meyers, Fla ; a sister, Mrs Dale Elliot, Fort Myers, Fla.; a brother, Roy Palmateer, Mineral Wells, Tex., and a grandson.
Funeral services were held at the Baird Case North Federal Chapel, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Thursday morning, Aug. 13, at 11 a m. with the Rev. James Purcell, Fort Meyers, Fla., officiating.
Interment was made in the Fort Lauderdale Memorial Park

Fagan Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Fagan of Summit View Road, Gloversville, at a ceremony at 2 Sunday afternoon in a private reception room of the Rainbow Restaurant. Nat Golatta, minister of the Gloversville congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, performed the double ring ceremony.
William Henderson of Gloversville escorted the bride down the aisle. She wore a white silk taffeta gown trimmed with Venise lace embroidery. It was designed with a high-rise neckline, wedding ring collar, a mini-yoke on the bodice and a controlled skirt with a detachable train. A bow headpiece, adorned with orange blossoms, held her bouffant veil She carried a bouquet of white carnations and roses.
Mrs. Dawn Califano of Amsterdam was matron of honor. She wore a mint green dotted Swiss empire-waist gown over matching taffeta. It was fashioned with lace ruffling at the high mandarin neckline and at the wrists of its long sleeves. She wore a headpiece of matching tulle petals with bouffant veiling and carried a bouquet of white carnations and yellow roses.
Miss Nancy Zemken of Johnstown, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid. She wore an orchid gown and headpiece designed like that of the matron of honor and carried a bouquet of white carnations and pink roses.
Rebecca Zemken of Johnstown, another sister of the bride, was miniature bride and wore a daisy-dotted white nylon net dress over taffeta and trimmed with white lace. A cluster of daisies held her nylon lace veil. She carried, a bouquet of white carnations with miniature white roses.
Robert J. Ambrosino of Gloversville was best man for his cousin. Wayne Allen of Gloversville, another cousin of the bridegroom, was usher.
The mother of the bride wore a turquoise blue crepe dress with white accessories and a pink orchid corsage. The mother of the bridegroom wore a deep lime green dress with complimenting accessories and a yellow orchid corsage.
A reception for 130 was held at the restaurant after the ceremony with music provided by the Blue Mountain Boys band.
For a trip to Washington, D. C, the bride chose a deep rose A-line dress and a white gardenia corsage. The couple will reside on Summit View Road, Gloversville RD.
