Theodore W. Van Order, 76, of 10 Sanford St., Johnson City, died Saturday, at 1 : 10 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. He was predeceased by a son, Scott P. Van Order, May 20, 1985. Survived by his wife, Mrs. Leda E. Van Order, Johnson City; two daughters, Ms. Scarlett Rake, Endicott, Mrs. Sandra Palmer, Deming, NM; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Toni Van Order, Endicott; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one sister, Mrs. Elsie Johns, St. Augustine, Fla.; several nieces and nephews. He was a retired chemist with Endicott Johnson Corp., retiring in 1977 after 43 years of service.
Funeral and interment services will be held Wednesday, at 11 a.m. from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 E. Main St., Endicott, with Rev. James A. Corl, rector of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Endicott, officiating. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the memorial home, Tuesday, 7 to 9 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to the Lupus Foundation of America, Southern Tier Chapter, Press Bldg., Binghamton, NY 13901.

Mrs. Leda E. Van Order, 79, of 10 Sanford St, Johnson City, died at our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Binghamton, Thursday, April 23, 1992 at 10:05 a.m. after a short illness. She was predeceased by her husband Theodore W. VAN ORDER in 1987 and a son Scott P. VAN ORDER in 1985. She is survived by two daughters Scarlett RAKE, Endicott and Sandra PALMER, Deming, N. Mex; five grandchildren, Gaye SAUTRO, Tawni SAUTRO, Tera RAKE, Arden PALMER, Newell PALMER; two great-grandchildren, Rachel PALMER, Jared PALMER, one daughter-in-law Toni VAN ORDER; one sister-in-law Merion CAMPBELL; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Paul Miller VanOrder, 35, of 18 Stuyvesant Street, drowned Saturday night when the truck he was driving left the highway and somersaulted over a 20-foot retaining wall, landing upside down in East Hill Creek at Marathon. Mr. VanOrder. the father of three children, was pronounced dead when extricated from the cab of the truck by volunteer firemen who worked feverishly for 10 minutes. Marathon Police Chief Harold Wood said the truck, a 1 1/2 ton model, left the highway just south of the Ford Vroman residence in Route 211. The vehicle missed the Vroman house by inches and knocked over seven steel guardrail posts as it left the highway.
He estimated the truck plunged a total of 60 feet, traveling 40 feet before somersaulting over the retaining wall. The truck is owned by Ray Harris, who Lives in Route 221 about two miles from Marathon. Chief Wood said Mr. VanOrder had been visiting Mr. Harris since Friday. Mr. Van Order was employed as a boiler fireman at the Crowley Milk Co. Previously, he had been employed at the Blum Dye & Tool Co. at Marathon He played in local orchestras. Dr. Claude E. Chapin, a Cortland County coroner, said Mr. VanOrder died instantly.
A passing motorist observed the truck upside down in the creek and notified Chief Wood. Mr. Van Order will be buried in Vestal Hills Memorial Park after a funeral service at 1:30 p. m. tomorrow in the J. F. Rice Funeral Home in Johnson City. Survivors include the wife, Mrs. Helen Van Order; two daughters, Judy, 8, and Pamela, 6; a son, Gary, 3; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Reuben H. Van Order, Kingston, formerly of Johnson City, and a brother, Theodore, Johnson City R. D. 2.

Mrs. Helen E. Van Order, 54, 26 Haendel St., died early Saturday morning at her home. She is survived by two daughters. Frederick Dorst, Rector of Christ Episcopal Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the J. F. Rice Funeral Home, 150 Main St., Johnson City, today and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m.

Thomas Charles "Tom" Daily II of Corvaliis died at his home on Thursday. He was 74.
He was born in Camarillo, Calif, the son of Thomas and Aileen (Donovan) Daily. He spent his childhood on a family farm in Ventura, Calif. After high school, he attended Loyola University for two years and then began a career as the owner and operator of a farm in San Career Valley in 1940. He married Caroline Cunningham on July 29, 1944 in Glendale, Calif.
In 1947 he sold his first farm and moved to Vernalis, Calif. In Vernalis he he bought another farm, which he operated until 1966, Then he came to Corvallis and purchased acreage 12 miles south of town on Lakeside Drive. He continued to farm all his life, although recently, he did not do so as actively.
He attended St Mary's Catholic Church in Albany. In addition to his wife in Corvallis, he is survived by four sons, Thomas Daily III of Tigard, James Daily of Rocklin, Calif; John Daily of Corvallis;. and Joe Daily of Portland, three daughters; Mary Margaret Spiering of Saratoga, Calif; Ann Cook of Albany, and Maureen Christy of San Jose, Calif ; five sisters; Katherine Poggi of Oxnard, Calif; Mary Borchard of Camarillo, Calif; Marjorie Quigley of Bakersfield, Calif; Jeanne Humphreys of Oxnard, Calif.; and Ellen LiPari of Oxnard, Calif; and 10 gratidchildren.
An evening rosary service will be held at 7 p m on "Monday, Dec 27 at McHenry Funeral Home, 206 N. W. Fifth St.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a m on Tuesday, Dec 28 at St Mary's Catholic Church in Albany. Committal services will follow at the Oaklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Corvallis. The Rev Patrick Walsh will officiate

A formal ceremony at the Church the Incarnation in Glendale Saturday morning united in marriage Miss Caroline Crumpton Cunningham, daughter of Mrs. James Hanna Cunningham of Glendale and the late Mr. Cunningham, and Thomas Charles Daily, jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Charles Daily of Oxnard.
The brides gown was of ivory satin and lace, the bodice and long fitted sleeves of the dainty lace, which also fashioned the Juliet cap from which her long veil of illusion cascaded. Sprigs of orange blossom edged the cap and she carried a shower bouquet of white orchids.
Miss Dorothy Cunningham attended her sister. Richard Cooper Poggi was best man and the ushers were Henry Oliver Borchard and Robert McClosky.
The couple is now honeymooning at Carmel. They will reside in the San Fernando valley.
The bride is a graduate of Stanford university and Daily attended Loyola university.

Georgiana Georgiana Campbell, 76, of Windsor, died of heart failure Thursday (Aug. 27, 1998) at Windsor's Kimberly Hall Nursing Home where she has lived for 28 years. Georgie was born in Lansingburg, NY (part of Troy, NY) and was Handicapped by cerebral palsy at birth. She lived there where she was a member of the Methodist Church until coming to Windsor in 1970. Her wonderful sense of humor and sharp mind endeared her to all who knew her and she participated in life to its fullest. She loved her annual two weeks at Camp Harkness on the Connecticut Shore sponsored by the United Cerebral Palsy Assoc. She leaves a sister and brother-in-law, Jane (Campbell) and Bruce Goodale of Windsor; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Jeanne Campbell of Montclair, VA and six nieces and nephews and their families. A graveside service and burial will be Monday (Aug. 31), 11 a.m. at the Oak-wood Cemetery in Troy, NY. There are no calling hours. Helen Quackenbush Magnussen, of Issaquah, died on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 in Kirkland. She was 102 years of age.
Mrs. Magnussen was born on February 14, 1913 in Seattle, Washington, the youngest of six children of William and Maude Quackenbush. She spent her early years in the Ballard neighborhood and later moved to Redmond, where she attended the Happy Valley School and graduated from Redmond High School. Mrs. Magnussen worked as a nurse's aid at Children's Hospital in Seattle before marrying her childhood sweetheart, Torwald W. Magnussen in Redmond, where they settled on East Lake Sammamish in Redmond and raised three children.
She and her husband were members of the United Methodist Church in Redmond. Helen was an accomplished seamstress and loved cooking, entertaining and travel. She also was well known for having a keen eye for fashion and style, as well as a fun-loving demeanor and a great sense of humor. She was loved by all who knew her.
Helen survived her husband, all of her siblings and their spouses. She is survived by her primary caregiver and close friend Mary Lui; her three children: Sue Parks and husband John of Redmond; Jon Magnussen of Bellevue; and Karen Taylor and husband Paul of Hunts Point. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Kathy Lipe and husband Mike of Kirkland; Laurie Schwartz and husband Don of Kirkland; Kristi Eldrenkamp and husband Matt of Medina, Ann Parks of Bellevue; Michael Magnussen and wife Theresa of Mercer Island; Kevin Taylor and wife Angela of Hunts Point; Jeffrey Magnussen and wife Serafina of Burbank, CA; and Kelli Huber and husband Brian of Medina; as well as her 15 great-grandchildren: Christopher Lipe and wife Reina of Burbank, CA; Kyle Lype and wife Melissa of Bothell; Tyler Schwartz of Issaquah; Patrick Schwartz of Los Angeles, CA; Jenna Carley and husband Patrick of West Hollywood, CA; Jake, Nick and Julia Eldrenkamp; Paul and Joseph Taylor; Mackenzie and Marissa Magnussen; Brock, Rhett and Elle Huber; and two great-great grandchildren, Isabelle and Madelyn Lipe.
A graveside memorial service will be held at Redmond Cemetery, 7000 180th Ave NE, Redmond, WA 98052 at a time to be announced.

Miss Dunkerley, a 1962 graduate of Great Falls High School, is a senior at the University of Puget Sound, Tacoma. She is a member of Alpha Phi sorority. Tacoma, Wash., was the scene of the wedding of Kay Hamilton Dunkerley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Luke T. Dunkerley, 3113 6th Ave. S., and Jon Michael Magnussen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tor W. Magnussen, Redmond, Wash.
The bride designed the bridegroom's ring, used in the double-ring ceremony performed by Rev. John C. Soltman.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attired in a floor-length white gown of silk organza over satin, accented with lace appliques and fashioned with a train.
A high crown of net, lace appliques and seed pearls secured her elbow-length illusion veil, and she carried an arrangement of pink carnations on her white Rainbow Bible.
Mrs. Joseph Mathews, Seattle, was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Garna Botting. Auburn, Wash., and Roxie Dahlstrom, Aberdeen, Wash. Junior bridesmaids were the bridesgroom's nieces, Kathy and Laurie Kirby, Redmond, Wash.
They wore pink linen dresses, with headpieces of white organza roses and pink veils, designed by the bride. All carried nosegays of pink carnations, the matron of honor's centered with a deeper pink rose.
Robert Lewis, Tacoma, was best man, and ushers were Fred Whitley, Tacoma, and Lt. (j.g.) Gary Thayer, Oak Harbor, Wash. Mrs. Paul Margelli, Tacoma, was organist and Mrs. Carleton Colbath Jr., Mt. Vernon, Wash., vocalist.
Assisting at the reception in the church parlor were Mrs Archibald J. Hamilton, Glendive; Mrs. Thomas H. Dunkerley, Long Beach, Calif.: Sue Kirby, Karen Taylor, Redmond; Laurel Frahm, Elisabeth Powell, Kay Zaback, Mrs. Mary Patterson and David Ackerman who was musician.
After a wedding trip to Canada, the couple is living in Redmond at 4630 East Lake Sam mamish Road North. Mrs. Magnussen will be a high school art instructor in a special education department for handicapped children, a unit of the Lake Washington School District. Magnussen is associated with a family business, the Cadmah Gravel Co., Redmond.
Both are graduates of the University of Puget Sound, Tacoma. She is a Great Falls High School graduate and attended the College of Great Falls. He is a graduate of Lake Washington High School.
The bride was feted at showers in Washington and in Great Falls at the Carl Hendryx home, with Mrs. Hendryx and Mrs., Roy L. Olson as hostesses.

Joyce Marie Vanderwerken Quackenbush, 83, died peacefully Saturday, September 21, 2013 at the Community Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Troy on July 11, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Edith Rich Vanderwerken. Mrs. Quackenbush was a graduate of Troy High School. She spent her whole career in the banking industry first with Pioneer Savings & Loan, Troy Savings Bank and most recently with Cohoes Savings Bank where she was a customer service representative from 1980-1994 before retiring.
Aside from work, her greatest joys and accomplishments came as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and maintaining a wonderful home for her family. Joyce loved time on her back deck watching the birds and animals in her yard. She was the beloved wife of 46 years of the late George A. Quackenbush; loving mother of Derek J. (Kim) Quackenbush of Amsterdam, Dana (Francois) Vachon of Guilderland, Robert A. (Kathleen) Quackenbush of Latham, Glenn W. (Maria) Quackenbush of Clarence Center, N.Y. and Andrew G. (Susan) Quackenbush of Metairie, Louisiana. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and her lifelong friend, Frances Cowan.
Relatives and friends may call at the Bowen & Parker Bros. Funeral Home, 97 Old Loudon Road, Latham on Monday (today) from 4-7 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 7 p.m. Interment will be Tuesday in Albany Rural Cemetery.
The family would like to thank all the friends and neighbors in our mom's neighborhood for the support and friendship you gave to our mom allowing her to stay in her home and to the wonderful compassionate staff at the Community Hospice Inn.

Miss Joyce M. Vanderwerken, daughter of Edward A. Vanderwerken of Albany became the bride on Saturday of George A. Quackenbush, son of Mr. and Mrs. George F. Quackenbus of 766 Second Avenue. Th e ceremony took place in the rectory of St. Augustine's Church with Rev. Thomas J. Kelley officiating.
Mr. and Mrs. Russell O. Webster of Wynantskill were the attendants. The bride wore a navy blue suit with navy blue accessories and her corsage was of gardenias. At the conclusion of the ceremony, a wedding breakfast was served at Jack s Restaurant in Albany, after which the couple left on a wedding trip to New York.
The bride is a graduate of Troy High School and is employed at the Pioneer Building Loan and Savings Association. The bridegroom, a graduate of Lansingburg High School, served in the Navy in World War II and is now connected with the New York Power & Light Corp.

A graduate of Shaker High School in Latham the future bridegroom attended Hudson Valley Community College. He is serving in the U.S. Army in Germany.

Y., announced the engagement of their daughter, Miss Catharine Potter, to Mr. Robert Archer Keely of Huntington, W. Va. Miss Potter is a niece of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Livingston Parsons and of Rev. Dr. Rockwell Harmon Potter of Hartford, and a graduate ot St. Margaret's School at Waterbury, She is at present a member of the senior class of Skidmore College at Saratoga Springs, N. Y. Mr. Keely was graduated from Virginia Military Institute at Lexington, Va., In the class of 1924, and is now with the General Electric Company at Schenectady. Mr. Potter was the minister of the First Church of Christ in Simsbury, from 1907 to 1910.

Lloyd-Keely. Mrs. Catharine Potter Keely, daughter of Rev. Dr. and Mrs. Clayton Johnson Potter of Mount Marion, N. Y., formerly of Schenectady, N. Y., was married on Wednesday. June 14, to Mr. Goronwy Pryse Lloyd, son of Mrs. Evan David Lloyd, of Schenectady, and the late Mr. Lloyd. The ceremony took place at noon at the bride's home, the parsonage of the Plattekill Reformed Church. Her father, pastor of the church, officiated.
Miss Catharine P. Keely, daughter of the bride, was her only attendant. Mr. Ifor Pryse Lloyd, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Only members of the immediate family were present.
Mrs. Lloyd is a graduate of St. Margaret's School, Waterbury, and of , Skimore College, Saratoga Springs, N. Y. She resided in Simsbury during her father's pastorate at the Congregational Church there. She is a niece of Mrs. Harry Livingston Parsons, and of Rev. Dr. Rockwell Harmon Potter, both of Hartford.
Alter a short stay in the Adirondacks, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd will make their home in Hartford, where Mr. Lloyd is representing the L. G. Balfour Company, of Attleboro, Mass.

The bride was graduated from the Scotia High school and the Green Mountain Junior college and is with the WGY News bureau at Schenectady. Lt Schrader was graduated from the Mont Pleasant High school and attended the Green Mountain Junior college and recently graduated from the Officers' Candidate school at Fort Monmouth, N. J. He is with the USA Signal corps stationed at Philadelphia, Pa.
