Clarence J, Myers, 79, 212 Bridge St., Phoenix died Sunday at his home. A native of Little Falls, Mr. Myers had been a resident of Phoenix for many years. He was a retired employee of Remington Rand Co., and a member of Salt Springs Lodge 520, F. & A. M. He was a member of the Little Falis Baptist Church. Masonic services were conducted at the Funeral Home Tuesday.
He is survived by his wife Mrs. Flora L. Myers; a brother Harrison L. Myers, a sister, Mrs. Ella Maxfleld and a nephew Kenneth Myers.
Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday at the Greenleaf Funeral Home on West Onondaga St. Syracuse, 11a.m. Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery.

A very pretty wedding took place Wednesday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Hughes. No. 103 Hatch street, when their daughter. Miss Bertha May Hughes, was united in marriage to Clarence J. Myers of Little Falls. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Winfield H. Bentley, pastor of the Park Avenue M. E. church, in the presence of 100 guests. To the strains of the "Bridal Chorus" from Lohengrin, played by Miss Frances Dolphin. the bridal party entered the parlor, where the ceremony was performed under a bower qf palms and flowers. The bride was handsomely gowned in white messaline trimmed with lace and carried a shower bouquet of bridal roses. Miss Minnie Wiekert, who attended her as maid of honor, wore pale green chiffon trimmed with gold ornaments and carried an arm bouquet of pink roses. Miss Ella Myers of Little Falls and Miss Florence Snyder were the bridesmaids dressed in pale blue silk mulle over blue tafeta and trimmed with gold on ornaments and carried arm bouquets of pink carnations. Harrison Myers of Little Falls and Ralph H Hughes were the ushers and Henry L. Rowland acted as best man. The color scheme throughout the house was green and white and pink. The arches were draped with ropes of myrtle and carnations. Following the ceremony there was a wedding supper in the dining-room, the bride's cake centering the pretlly arranged table. Robert C. Raeder, 46, of 260 Argonne Drive, Kenmore, an invalid who suffered third degree burns on his chest and hands July 1 when a lighter ignited his shirt, died about 1:30 p.m. yesterday in Kenmore Mercy Hospital.
An invalid since his early 20s, Mr. Raeder reportedly suffered the third degree burns while lighting a cigarette. Medical examiner John P. Hylant is investigating.
Mr. Raeder received his elementary education in Kenmore schools and was graduated from Albany High School. He attended Albany Business College, but was unable to complete his studies there after he contracted Parkinson's Disease.
A native of Kenmore, Mr. Raeder resided with Ms parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry H. Raeder, who had cared for him during the past 25 years.
Mrs. Raeder said today that Robert's cotton shirt ignited while he was using his lighter to
light a cigarette.
"He was sitting near a window when a strong breeze caused the flame from his lighter to ignite the shirt.
"The incident occurred as my husband and I walked in the back door," Mrs. Raeder recalled. She said a neighbor had come to her son's assistance and was wrapping him in a blanket to smother the flames.
Mrs. Raeder said Robert gained consciousness at Kenmore Mercy Hospital the followng day and related what happened before lapsing into a coma.
According to Mrs. Raeder, Robert had third degree burns over 50 per cent of his body.
Mr. Raeder is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry H. Raeder; a sister, Mrs. Richard P. Crone, a brother, Arthur C. Raeder and Mrs. Cora Kibby, his grandmother.
Services will be conducted at 3 p.m. tomorrow at Bury Funeral Home, Kenmore. Burial will be in Acacia Park Cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. Ketchem are taking a short motor trip and will be at home to their friends after September 13 at Varna.

Walter M. Ketcham, age 77, of Jamesville, NY (formerly of Tully, NY) died June 29, 2014 following an extended illness. He passed away at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Corning, NY, the son of Henry C. and Alice M. Ketcham. Walt graduated from Harpursville Central School, and earned degrees from Eastern University, Andover Newton Theological School, and Drew University Theological School. Ordained as an American Baptist Minister, he served churches in New York State and Arizona. He also served as Associate Executive Minister for the American Baptist Churches of New York State, and was elected to the College of Fellows of the Academy of Parish Clergy...
To say that Walt touched many lives over the years would not do justice to this modest man. He was the compassionate, steady, rock of faith and guidance for his family and his church family. When not helping others he could be found enjoying his story-telling, writing, reading, poetry, round and square dancing, playing cards, traveling on Elderhostel trips, wintering in Florida or being with his wife and family!
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at the Tully United Community Church, Tully, NY.Memorial contributions may be given in lieu of flowers to The American Cancer Society or Hospice of Central New York.

Both Mr. Hicks and Miss Myers were graduated from Cornell university, class of '37, where they majored in bacteriology, Mr, Hicks is the bacteriologist in the state food laboratories in Albany and Miss Myers is the laboratory technician in the state health department in Albany.

Central New York has contributed another man to aid in rushing supplies to the Middle East forces of the Allies. He is Frank Joseph Myers, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harris J. Myers of West Winfield, who sailed Oct. 9 for an air base in Africa. Myers has signed a contract for 13 months with the Pan-American Airways as steward of one of their bases somewhere in Africa. It is his work to see that the pilots delivering bombers to the Middle East are provided food and shelter at the base, also to look after passengers and officers traveling the new Pan-American route across Africa.
Myers is a native of West Winfield. He was graduated from West Winfield Central School in 1933 and from the Hotel Management College of Cornell in 1939. Since leaving Cornell he has been steward in large hotels and restaurants.

Mrs. Julia "Rowena" Myers, 97, died February 14, 2011, in the Northwestern Medical Center, with loved ones by her side.
Born in Watertown, New York on May 4, 1913, she was the daughter of George and Edna (Babcock) Giblin.
She was a graduate of the Crane School of Music, SUNY Potsdam and received her Masters Degree in Music from New York University.
On July 23, 1949, Rowena married F. Joseph Myers of West Winfield, New York. He was the owner of Safina Florist in Rockville Centre, New York and predeceased her in 1984.
Rowena lived most of her adult life in Rockville Centre, New York. She devoted her life to music and worked as an elementary school music teacher for more than 29 years within the Island Park School District. As a member of the Oceanside Symphonic Society she played the violin in the community orchestra. She loved to attend concerts within the New York City area. She was also an avid golfer. In her later years, she was an active member of the Long Island Retired Teachers Association and served as its treasurer. Rowena was a devout Roman Catholic throughout her life. She was a member of Saint Agnes Cathedral in Rockville Centre, where she attended Mass daily and was also a member of the cathedral's Rosary Altar Society. Since living in Vermont she attended Saint Louis Roman Catholic Church as well as The Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. As a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister-in-law and friend she will be eternally remembered for her caring support and unconditional love.
She is survived by her three daughters: JoAnne Campbell, and her husband Hal, of Highgate Springs, Jean Osborne of Los Angeles, California, and Patricia Myers of Long Beach, California; by her five grandchildren: H.D. Campbell, and his wife Kelly, Heather Campbell Larivee and her husband Chad, and Rachel, Leah, and Colleen Osborne; and by her four great-grandchildren: Aubrey Campbell, Tyler Robinson, and Julia and Maria Larivee. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Dr. Lawrence F. Withington of Watertown, New York, his three children Dr. Richard Withington, Nancy DelBorgo and Barbara Meglis, and several other nieces and nephews.
Rowena was predeceased by her sister Alice G. Withington, her brother George Giblin, Jr., and by her daughter, Mary Rowena Myers Cole.
The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, February 18, 2011, at 11 am from Saint Louis Roman Catholic Church, Lamkin Street, Highgate Center. Father Thomas D. Nadeau will be the celebrant and homilist. Pastor Emeritus, Father Jean Paul Laplante will concelebrate.
Entombment will follow in Saint Mary's Cemetery, Swanton, Vermont to await Spring Interment in Cedarville, New York. Friends may call at The Kidder Memorial Home, 89 Grand Avenue Swanton on Thursday evening, February 17, 2011 from 7:00 to 8:00 pm.

WEST WINFIELD - Mrs. Ella Wilde, 62, of Fairview Circle, died Thursday in St. Luke’s Memorial Hospital Center, Utica.
She was born in Cedarville, the daughter of Harris and Edith Cone Myers. She was graduated from West Winfield High School and attended Albany State Teachers College.
She and her husband, John D Wilde, resided in Binghamton and Garden City many years, where she was active in garden and social clubs. She was associated with her brother in the florist business on Long Island for many years. Mr. Wilde died in 1962.
Mrs. Wilde was a member of the West Brookfield Community Church.
She leaves her mother; two sons, John D. Wilde Jr., Canoga Park, Calif., and Peter V.D. Wilde, Bernardsville, N.J.; one brother, Joseph Myers, Rockville Center; and two sisters, Mrs. Caroline Norton, Trumansburg, and Mrs. Jayne Hess, Lake Placid.
Funeral services were held at 1 this afternoon from the Wilcox Funeral Home with interment in Cedarville Cemetery.

The bride's gown was of white chiffon with shadow lace yoke and a duchess veil of lace and tulle. She wore lace mitts and carried white roses and lilies of the valley.
The maid of honor was her sister, Miss Carolyn Myers who wore yellow chiffon with pictured hat and shoes to match. She carried sweet peas and snapdragons.
The bridesmaids were Miss Kathryn Belknap, Phllmont: Louise Crandall, West Wlnfleld; Elisabeth Rasbach, llion, and Mae Wilde, sister of the groom. They all wore orchid and yellow dresses wit h orchid yellow picture hats, lace mitts and shoes to match. They carried garden bouquets.
The best man was Paul Gallagher of Syracuse and the ushers were Norton Barber and George Plumb Jr., of Bennington, Vt.; Lester Mosher, New Berlin, and Frank Getman, lllon.
One flower girl, Edith Jane Myers, wore green organdie with poke bonnet, and the other, France s Getman, wore a pink dress and bonnet.
Immediately after the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents.
The groom's gift to the bride was a diamond pendant.
The bride is a graduate of West Winfield School and has also attended Albany Teachers' College for two years. The groom attended Oberlin College and has just graduated from Albany Law School.
After a honeymoon at Cape Cod Mr. and Mrs. Wilde will live in Bennington, Vt, where Mrs. Wilde has a position as teacher for another year in the school and Mr. Wilde will be associated with the law firm of Edward Holden.

Miss Edith Myers, daughter of Mr. and Mrs, Harris J. Myers of this village and Norman Lawrence Hess a. r. m 3-c USNR, son of Myron F. Hess, c r m. USNAR, and Mrs. Hess of Ilion, were married at 3 p. m. Sunday in the First Baptist Church in West Winfield, the Rev. Gordon Carter officiating.
Mrs, John D. Wilde of Binghamton, and Mrs. Carolyn Norton of Syracuse, sisters of the bride, were the matrons of honor and the maid or honor was Miss Roberta Jarvis, of Ilion. Bridesmaids were Miss Marilyn Hess of Ilion and Miss Margaret Beal of this village.
Sgt. Charles Powers of Ilion was the best man and the ushers were John D. Dile and Milton Hess.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of ivory princess satin with a. court train. Her veil of ivory French illusion fell from a cap of braided tulle and she carried a bouguet of sweet peas, gardenias and orchids.
The attendants wore gowns of satin and net in pastel shades of blue, pink and aqua. They carried yellow roses, pink roses and white carnations and white lilacs and heather.
Miss Carolyn Alice Norton of Syracuse, niece of the bride, was a flower girl. She wore a dress of pink taffeta and a pink veil caught with miniature pink and white flowers.
The bride's mother wore a wine colored velvet dress and the bridegroom's mother wore a dress of coral crepe. Both wore corsages of violets, and yellow rosebuds.
A reception was held in the home of the bride after which the couple left for a trip to New York.
The bride is a graduate of West Winfield Central School and attended the School of Nursing of Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester.
The bridegroom graduated from Ilion high school and attended Clarkson College of Technology.
Guests attended from Bnhghamton, New York, Ilion, Syracuse, Rochester, Norwich and Utica.

Chief risk officer for Genworth Financial, Lori M. Evangel, accepted her last assignment on Jan. 20, 2020, to be with heaven's angels, following complications from her long battle with Crohn's disease. Lori departed this earth with her husband of 30 years by her side, Chris, who were each other's BEST friend.
Lori was born in Lake Placid, N.Y., on March 24, 1962, to parents, Norman Hess (deceased) and Jayne (deceased). Lori has two brothers, Marc and wife, Gudrun, who reside both in Stockholm, Sweden, and Sarasota, Fla., and Eric and wife, Georgia, of Galaxy, Va., and sister, Heidi Griffeth of Lake Placid. Lori's sister-in-law, Victoria Rindosh and her husband, Bill, of Eastampton, N.J., were with Chris in Richmond, Va., at VCU Medical Center when Lori departed to the heavens.
Recognized as a leading chief risk officer in the insurance industry, Lori's professional experience stretched four decades. She joined the Richmond-based Genworth in January 2014. Prior to joining Genworth, she worked for Aflac Global Investments, MetLife, MBIA, and Moody's Investors Service in New York City - it was at Moody's that where she met her husband, Chris.
Lori held an MBA in finance from SUNY-Albany. She earned it at a time when few women held a business degree, and she also had a BA from Middlebury College (Vermont) graduating cum laude. Lori was an adjunct professor at Columbia University for the Enterprise Risk Management Program (master's degree).
While Lori had many professional achievements, her most satisfying efforts came from helping those in her community, most recently as an executive board member to the Richmond SPCA, the nation's 2nd no-kill humane center, which helped add her love of animals from a cat lover (Scarletta) to a dog lover with two dogs (Christina and Kukla).
The St. Peter's Soup Kitchen in Morristown, N.J., was a 20-year monthly cooking commitment Lori enjoyed doing.
While spending most of her career in the New York/New Jersey area, Lori was born on March 24, 1962, in Lake Placid, N.Y., where she was a renowned figure skater. Her athleticism continued throughout her life as a devoted swimmer.
Funeral is scheduled for 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 1, 2020, at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Morristown, N.J. 07960. Viewing will be Friday evening at St. Peter's from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
Her friends are welcome to share the joy Lori brought to many in her life and to all that she touched. Her husband, Chris, and more importantly, each other's BEST friend, said, "Lori will be dearly missed and never forgotten."

Demoski, U.S. Army, stationed in France; his mother, Mrs. Veronica Demoski of Brooklyn; two sisters, Mrs. Walter Smith of Brooklyn and Mrs. Bertran Noonan of Wallington, N.J.; two brothers, Anton and John Demoski, both of Brooklyn; five grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
