  Alonzo Passage, 55, of 202 Mohawk St., Utica, father of Miss Isabelle Passage, Rome, died yesterday while at work in the Utica Masonic Home following a coronary attack.
  Also surviving are his father, George Passage, Utica; three sons, George and Willis, Carthage; Leon in the U.S. Army; a sister, Mrs. Maude Pelton, Utica; a brother, Leon Passage, Utica, and a granddaughter.
  Mr. Passage was born in Lowville on July 8, 1900 son of George and Isabelle Wright Passage. He married Leona Quick in Utica. She died Nov. 2, 1953.
  For seven years he was a farmer at the Masonic Home, following a period of employment at Jacob Mettleman's Sons.
  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Heintz Funeral Home. Burial will be in New Forest Cemetery.

  FRANKFORT - Leon (Bruno) O. Passabe, 67, of 245 E. Main St., a self employed carpenter and former employee of the Standard Desk Co., Herkimer, died Tuesday night in Mohawk Valley General Hospital, Ilion.
  Mr. Passage also had been sexton of the Cedarville Cemetery for a time.
  He was a member of the Gospel Tabernacle Church.
  He was born in Lowville and attended Cedarville school. He married Daisy Hagadorn in 1925. She died several years ago.
  He leaves a sister, Mrs. Maude Pelton of Carthage, a stepson, Gerald Gay of West Winfield and a stepsister, Mrs. Nettie McGinn of Syracuse.
  The funeral will be at 1 Saturday from the Applegate Funeral Home, Ilion. Burial will be in Cedarville Cemetery this spring.
  Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 tomorrow.

  Frankfort—Mrs. Daisy M. Passage, 51, of 113 Frankfort St, died Feb. 26, 1953, in the Ilion Hospital after an illness of several months.
  Mrs. Passage was bom Apr. 16, 1901 at Millers Mills, a daughter of Nelson and Ida Kaples Hagedorn. She married Leon Passage in 1934 in West Winfield.
  Mrs. Passage was employed for a time at the Duofold Plant in Mohawk. She lived in Cedarville most of her life, moving to Frankfort two years ago.
  She was a member of the Methodist Church.
   She leaves her husband, a son, Gerald C Gay, West Wlnfleld; two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Lucey, Ilion and Mrs. Dora Gay, Utica; two brothers, Albert Hagedorn, Frankfort, and Leon Hagadorn, West Winfield; a granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
  The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday from the Applegate Funeral Home, Ilion, with the Rev. Roland L. Osgood, officiating. Burial will be in the Cedarville Cemetery.

  COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Ella Keller, 92, of Colorado Springs, Colo, and formerly of Candor and Spencer, died Thursday, July 27, 1989, in Colorado Springs, Colo.
  A retired nurse, she had been a chicken farmer in the Candor-Spencer area.
  She is survived by two daughters, Betty Jane Falone of Rochester and Marjorie DeLauder of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and four grandchildren.
  Memorial services were held in Colorado Springs, Colo.
  Graveside services will be in the Van Hornesville Cemetery.

  Frederick Saleman, 67, ov Venice Gardens, Fla., died Saturday Oct. 12, in South West Florida Hospital, Tampa,where he had been apatient for four days.
  He was born July 9, 1896 in St. Johnsville, a son of Rudolph and Cedate Adams Saleman. For over 40 years he was a dairy farmer in the Valley Brook section of the Town of Minden, retiring in 1960 and moving to Florida. He married Ida Griffith on September 1, 1917 in Remsen.
  Survivors include hiw wife of Venice Gardens, Fla,; two sons, Walter of Norkomis, Fla and Robert of Erie, Pa., two daughters, Mrs Frances Norton, of Zanesville, Ohio and Mrs Lois Dievendorf of Fort Plain; one sister, Miss Lillian Saleman of Fort Plain; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
  The remains will arrive in Fort Plain late Thursday evening. Funeral services will be condusted Friday afternoonb at 2:30 at the Swartz Funeral Home with the pastor Rev. Theodore W. Warren, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment will be in Van Hornesville Cemetery.

  Hazel W. Francisco
  MOHAWK - Hazel W Francisco 81, of 3 Garden St, Mohawk, passed away Wesnesday, December 10.
  She was born May 11, 1905, in Herkimer, the daughter of Albert and Mary Smith Worden. She attended Herkimer Schools and married Arleigh Francisco, He passed away in 1969. Mrs. Francisco was employed as a Clerk-Typest with Herkimer County, retiring several years ago. She was a member of the Mohawk Order of the Eastern Star and a former member of the Grace Church Alter Guild.
  Mrs. Francisco is survived by two sons. Arleigh J., of Cedar Lake and Port Charlotte. Fl, Richard, of Mohawk; two daughters, Mrs. Donald (Jeanne) Morin, of Clay, NY, and Mrs. Carl (Virginia) Dutcher, of Mohawk; a brother, Albert Worden, of Frankfort; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several neices and nephews. She is predeceased by a brother Edmund Worden.
  Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, from the Whiter-Kendrix Funeral Home, Inc., Ilion, with the Rev. George B Greene officiating, Spring interment will be in the Mohawk Cemetery. Calling hours are 2-4 and 7-9, Friday. Friends are asked to consider memorial contributions to MOVAC.

  MOHAWK — Arleigh T. Francisco, 66 of Vickerman Hill Rd., Mohawk RD 1, died today at his home.
  He was born on Feb. 20, 1903 in the Town of Herkimer, the son of John E. and Mary Franklin Francisco. He married Hazel Worden on Aug. 23, 1924 in Herkimer. The couple had lived in Mohawk since 1930, coming from Frankfort.
  Mr. Francisco was a supervisor at Remington Arms Co. before retiring in 1964.
  He was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, Mohawk; the 25-Year Club of Remington Arms; the Mohawk Masonic Lodge, Kiwanis Club and the Mohawk Fish and Game Club.
  Besides his widow, he leaves two daughters, Mrs. Donald (Jeannie) Morin, Syracuse, and Mrs. Carrol (Virginia) Dutcher, Mohawk; two sons. Arleigh J. and Richard C., both of Mohawk; five sisters, Mrs. Ruby Lewis and Mrs. Edna Walsh, both of Frankfort; Mrs. Marsha Langi and Mrs. Bessie Helmer, both of Herkimer, and Mrs. Bernice Corey, Ilion; one brother, Lynn Francisco, Ilion; 12 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews.
  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday from the Graves - Applegate Funeral Home, with the Rev. David B. Terns, rector of Grace Episcopal Church, officiating. Interment will be in Mohawk Cemetery.
  Calling hours are from 7 to 9 tonight and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. The Mohawk Masonic Lodge will meet at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow for ritualistic services at the funeral home.

  Frankfort, Aug. 2S—Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Episcopal Church in Herkimer Hazel P. Worden of that village and Arleigh T. Francisco of Mohawk were united in marriage. In the absence of the bride's pastor the ceremony was performed by the Rev. W. C. Trout, a former pastor of the church, now at Middleville. The ring service was used.
  The attending couple were Marcia M. Francisco and Lynn Francisco sister and brother of the bridegroom. The bride was prettily gowned in yellow crepe over pink satin with hat to match and carried a bouquet of yellow roses, while her maid wore a gown of green crepe and hat to match and carried pink carnations. The bride's gift to her maid of honor was a pin set with rhinestones and the groom gave his best man gold and green cuff links. The bride is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert  Worden of Bellinger street, Herkimer, but has been employed for some time in the store of Enjem Brothers in this village. The groom is the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. E . Franrisco of Belllinger street, Mohawk, but until recently was a resident of Frankfort and Schuyler. He is employed in the M. H. Renkin Dairy Company plant in Frankfort. Both are very popular young people. After a wedding trip through Northern New York and Canada they will be at home to their friends at 107 Bellinger avenue, Herkimer.

  MOHAWK—Miss Jeanne Marie Francisco, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arleigh Francisco, Vickerman Hill Rd., became the bride of Donald A. Morin, son of Mrs. Louise Morin, 40 E. Main St., in a double ring ceremony at 11 a. m. today.
  The Rev. J. F. Kelly, S. J., New York City, pastor in the absence of the Rev. James Brennock, performed the ceremony in the Church of the Blessed Sacrament which was decorated with white gladioli.
  Robert Pape, soloist, Herkimer, sang “Ave Maria” and “O Blessed Mother,” and traditional organ music was played by Miss Betty Smith, Mohawk.
  The bride's sister, Mrs. Carrol Dutcher, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Barbara Francisco, her cousin, Mrs. Robert Brown, Mrs. Harold Ray ahd Mrs. George Kimball, and Patricia Lynch, cousin of the bridegroom, was flower girl.
  James Ford served as best man, and ushers were Richard Francisco, her brother, Carrol Dutcher, Kenneth Zweifel, Douglas Gibbons, James Eisenhut and Robert Morin, his brother. Ronald Morin, his brother, was ring bearer.
  Given in marriage by her father, the bride qhose a modern and traditional gown in white, fashioned with an embroidered nylon bodice, scoop neckline, empire waistline and long sleves. the skirt was of nylon tulle, with embroidered white taffeta under dress. Her veil of nylon tulle was caught to a Juliet cap, and She carried a cascade of white roses, centered with a white orchid.
  The matron of honor had a yellow nylon net over yellow taffeta strapless gown in ballerina length, with a stole and matching Juliet cap trimmed with seed pearls. The other attendants were in matching gowns of pastel shades. The honor attendant carried talisman roses, and the bridesmaids had pink and yellow roses. The flower girl had an orchid gown, fashioned after the matron of honor’s, and carried yellow
roses.
  A reception was held at 1 p. m. at the American Legion Home, Mohawk. Guests attended from Waterville, Albertson, Long Island, Geneva, Buffalo, Massachusetts, Canada and valley towns.
  Following a motor trip to Miami Beach, Fla., the couple will reside at 501 W. Albany St., Herkimer.
  The bride, a graduate of Mohawk High School and Cortland State Teachers College, is employed at Little Falls High School as physical education instructor and is presently taking her Master’s Degree at Syracuse University. He attended Waterville High School and was discharged in 1953 from the U. S. Marine Corps.
  The bride was honored at showers given by Mrs. Louise Morin, Mrs. Howard Helmer and Mrs. Malcolm Fagan, Mrs. Ruby Lewis and Mrs. Joseph Lanzi, Mrs. Edmund Worden and the bridal party.

  St. Johnsville - Miss Mary Ann Peruzzi, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dominick Peruzzi, and Richard Francisco, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arleigh John Francisco, Mohawk, were married Saturday in St. Patrick's Church.
  The double ring ceremony was performed by Rev. Walter Burns before the alter  decorated with baskets of white gladioli and pompons.
   The bride, escorted by her father wore a gown of white taffeta and Alencon lace, with fitted bodice and finger tip sleeves, Sabrina neckline outlined with tiny pearls and sequins. Her silk illusion finger tip veil was held by a crown of sequins and pearls and she carried a bouquet of white roses and pompons.
  The maid of honor was Miss Barabar a Peruzzi, sister of the bride, who wore a gown of light blue sheer nylon and chiffon over taffeta, with circular veil held by matching bows, and carried a Colonial bouquet of white roses and pompons.
   Her attendants Misses Joyce and Betty Peruzzi, sisters of the bride,  Mrs.
Elizabeth Schiavr, Herkimer, and Miss Ann Cairns wore ballerina length gowns of  Dior blue, sheer nylon chiffon over taffeta with sheered cummerbunds, cowell neckline and headpieces of matching bows with attached circular veils. The flower girl was Robin Francisco who wore a gown matching the attendants.
  Jack Fallows, Mohawk , was best man. Ushers were Robert Tallman, Herkimer , Albert Peruzzi, brotherof the bride, B. K. Malva, Herkimer, A. John Francisco, Jr. Mohawk, brother of the bridegroom.
  Wedding music was played by Mrs. Susan Salvagni, and John Bilobrowka sang several selections.
  The bride's mother wore a street length gown of flowered print over taffeta, with a white hat and white accessories, and white rose corsage .
  The bridegrooms mother wore a street length gown of blue print with navy accessories and matching hat, white rose corsage.
  A reception In St. Patrick's Church Hall was attended by 300. The couple left on a wedding trip through northern New York and Canada , and upon their return will  reside in Herkimer. For going away, the bride chose a white and black linen sheath dress with matching feather hat and accessories.
  The bride is a graduate of St. Johnsville Central School and Utica School of Commerce and was employed in credit department of the Beech-Nut Life Savers. Inc. Canajoharie. He was graduated from Mohawk Central School, and served four years in the Navy. He is employed at the General Electric Company, Utica.

  David Haywood. Hatfield. Pa., was best man for his brother. Ushers were Michael Worden, Rochester, brother of the bride and Richard Michelin, Rochester.
  Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attired in a full length gown of white peau de soie, fashioned with an empire bodice, long fitted sleeves, and a high collar. The wide A-line skirt fanned out in back to form a full chapel train. Deluate white beads acented with crystal and pearl were embroidered into the cuffs and collar. A matching strip of beading accented the Empire waistline. A headpiece of peau de sole half bows and alencon lace petals completed her outfit. She carried a cascade bouquet of carnations and ivy centered around an orchid corsage.
  The attendants wore full length gowns of pink chiffon over peau de sole fashioned in empire style with split high collar and long sheer puffed sleeves with fitted cuffs. A scalloped cotten venise lace formed a mock bolero on the bodice and accented the cuffs. The girls wore white wide picture hats triimmed with a pink ribbon bow and streamers to complete their ensembles. They carried colonial bouqiets of pink and white carnations. The flower girl carried a basket of pink daisies.
  Following a reception at Club Monarch the newlyweds honeymooned at Cape Cod . They will reside at Southwind Terrace Apts., Utica.
  The new matron attended M.V.C.C. andis now employed at Univac. the bridegroom who recieved a B.S. degree from Penn State University is also employed at Uvivac.

  HERKIMER - Edmund G. Worden, 74, of 400 Lansing St., died Sunday evening at Mohawk Valley General Hospital, Ilion.
  He was born March 15, 1910 in Herkimer, the son of Albert and Mary Smith Worden. On August 17, 1931, he married Helen Stephenson in Mohawk. He was'employed as Chief Clerk in Utica by the N.Y. Central Railroad, retiring in 1975 after 47 years of service. He owned and operated Worden's Woodgate Lodge in Woodgate, N.Y. for 10 years. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railway, Airline & Steamship Clerks-Utica Unit No. 116, the Tri-D Class of the Mohawk United Methodist Church and served as Financial Secretary of the church for 25 years.
  Besides his wife, Helen, he is also survived by two sons, Dorlon of Candor, N.Y and Stephen of Cape Vincent, N.Y.; a sister, Mrs. Helen Francisco, Mohawk; a brother, Albert of Frankfort; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the Murphy Funeral Home, Mohawk, with the Rev. Calvin R. Genzel and Rev. William A. Wilbur officiating. Burial will be in Mohawk Cemetery in the Spring. Friends are invited to call from 2-4 and 7-9 today at the Funeral Home. Memorial contributions to the Memorial Fund of the Mohawk United Methodist Church or MOVAC are requested.

  The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a silver brocade satin ballerina-length gown, fashioned on princess lines, with a scalloped peplum. Her nylon tulle veil was caught to a headpiece of nylon leaves, She carried a trailing bouquet of white carnations.
  The maid of honor was attired in a ballerina-length pink lace gown with a pink satin cummerbund and carried pink carnations.
  The mother of the bridegroom wore navy blue with navy accessories and a corsage of red roses., the bride's mother light blue with white accessories and a red rose corsage.
  After a reception at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Holovitz, 131 S. Third Ave. Ilion, the couple oeft for a weekend trip. He will return to navy duty and whe will remain for the time being with her parents.
  The bride is a senior at Mohawk Central School, the bridegroom is a Mohawk Central School graduate and now a seaman apprentice in the U.S. Navy. He will attend radio school at Norfolk, Va., following a leave. He was formerly at the Great Lakes Naval Training Station.
  A shower was given bythe bride's classmates and post-nuptual showers are also planned.
  Guests attended from Oneonta, Mt. Vernon, Rochester and Valley towns.

  Boonville First Methodist Church was the setting for the wedding of Miss Linda Karen Youngs and Stephen Charles Worden on July 27.
  The Rev. Rollo Pierce performed the double ring ceremony and celebrated Communion at noon. Mrs, Albert Grenning was organist and James Harrington of Odessa, played a trumpet solo.
  The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Youngs, East Road, Boonville. Her husband's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Worden, Woodgate.
  Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of silk organza and lace. The bodice had a high-rise waistline, scalloped portrait neckline and long pointed sleeves appliqued with lace. Bands of lace circled the bell skirt and the chapel train was detachable from the back waistline.
  A crown of lace, pearls and sequins held her fingertip veil and she carried a lace-covered Bible with a white orchid and stephanotis.
  Her gown was designed and made by Mrs. Duane Miller of Herkimer.
  Matron of honor for her sister-in-law was Mrs. Wayne Youngs. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Dorlon Worden, Richfield Springs, sister-in-law of the bridegroom; Miss Dorlene Salmon, Miss Kathy Gilroy and Miss Diana Thornton, all cousins of the bride.
   Tammy and Timmy Worden, niece and nephew of the bridegroom, were flower girl and ring bearer.
  Dorlon Worden, Richfield Springs, was best man for his brother. Ushering were Wayne and Kyle Youngs, brothers of the bride; Dan Schoonerman of Marion, and Mitchell Haverly of Potsdam.
  A reception was held at the church fellowship hall from which the newlyweds left for a trip to Washington, D.C., Virginia and Georgia.
  The bride is a 1968 graduate of Utica School of Commerce and is a summer employe of the Lally Mfg. Corp., Port Leyden.
  Mr. Worden, a senior music major at the State University College at Potsdam, is employed for the summer by Penn Central Railroad.
  The bride was given showers by her attendants and by Miss Donna Kessler.

  Schuyler Lake - Leonard Worden, 62, died yesterday in Fox Memorial Hospital, Oneida, after a long illness.
  He was born in German Flats and attended Mohawk Schools.
  His wife the former Mildred Day, died several years ago.
  Mr. Worden was employed by the Town of Exeter and was a former member of the Ilion Moose Club.
  Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Earl (Beverly) Mallette, Mrs. Robert (Mary) Myers, Miss Grace Worden and Mrs. Stanley (Nancy) Lawton, all of Morris and Miss Emily worden of Schuyler Lake, and three sons, Lawrence, of Morris, Richard of Newport and Leonard Jr. of Dolgeville.
  The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday from the McGrath Funeral Home, Burial will be in Mohawk Cemetery.

  Mrs. Mildred M. Worden, aged 43, of Schuyler Lake, died Wednesday, June 26, in the Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown, where she had been a patient for two weeks.
  Mrs. Worden was born in Little Falls, the daughter of Irving and Clara (Delude) Day. She attended school in Mohawk. She was married to Leonard Worden of Mohawk on March 28, 1936, the couple lived in Herkimer until 1943 when they moved to Schuyler Lake.
  Mrs Worden was a member of the Spanis War Veteran's Auxiliary, Herkimer; Schuyler Lake Methodist Church and it's WSCS and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Schuyler Lake Frie Department.
  Surviving are her husband; three sons, Lawrence and Richard of Schuyler Lake and :eonard Worden, at home; five daughters, Mrs Earl Mallette of Morris; Miss Mary Worden of Norwich, and Emily, Nancy and Grace Worden, all at home, and a brother, Irving Day of Mohawk, RD and several grandchildren.
  Funeral Services were held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 29, from the McGrath Funeral Home in Richfield Springs, with the Rev. Harold J. Saxton, pastor of the Schuyler Lake Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was in Mohawk Cemetery.

  Salisbury--Walter H. Wagner, 79, a resident of Warwick for years and formerly of Salisbury, died at the Warwick Hospital. He was born in Gray on Oct. 18, 1900 and was the son of Charles and Flora Hodge Wagner.
  He married Lela Miller on June 18, 1924, in the Universalist Parsonage, Dolgeville. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Clinton Moulton.
  He was a self-employed truck driver in Dolgeville for many years and also had been employed by the Eastern Footwear Co. and most recently by the Adirondack Bat Co., before retirement in 1965. He was a member of the Universalist Church of Salisbury.
  Surviving are his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Carl (Dorothy) Perry of Warwick; one son, Francis C. Wagner, Herkimer; a sister, Mrs. Ross (Reba) Edick of Ilion; one brother, Louis Wagner of Schuyler; four granddaughters, one grandson and several nieces and nephews.
  Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Leon E. Buck Funeral Home, Dolgeville, with the Rev. Timothy Hume-Behrendt, pastor of the Universalist Church, Salisbury, officiating.
  Interment will take place in the Salisbury Rural Cemetery in the spring.
  Calling hours will be on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 at the funeral home.

  ILION - Ross J. Edick, 85, of RD 2, Upper Otsego St., died Tuesday, April 15, 1986, at Mohawk Valley General Hospital.
  He was born on January 10, 1901, on the family farm in North Columbia, the son of John J. and Blanche DeGarmo Edick and attended the North Columbia Elementary School and Ilion High School. In 1919, Mr. Edick founded in partnership, with Mr. George Lucy, a garage on Upper Otsego St. In 1922. he went into partnership with his brother, Ralph, and his father. The business was later known as Edick's Appliance. He retired on January 1, 1966.
  On July 23, 1923. he married Laura Reba Wagner in the same house where he was born. His father had sold the farm to his future wife's family. Mr. Edick was a life time member of the North Columbia United Methodist Church and was a charter member of the Higher Trail Class of the Church.
  Survivors include his beloved wife, Reba, a son. Roy Wagner Edick and a daughter-in-law, Frances Traver Edick, of Ilion: three grandsons, Ronald John, of Essex Junction, Vermont; Randal Ross, of Seattle, Washington, and Rudyard Grayson, a student at Syracuse University and the City University of London, England; a brother, Ralph DeGarmo Edick and a niece, Eileen Mclntyre. both of Ilion; and a cousin. George A. Edick, of Lantana, Fla.
  Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at the Applegate Funeral Home. Ilion, with the Rev. William Stubba and Rev. Henry Opperman officiating. Calling hours are Thursday 7-9. Friday 2-4 and 7-9. Memorial contributions may be made to the memorial fund of the North Columbia United Methodist Church. Donation envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
