Daniel Kieth, the 18-months-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Hazelton, was fatally burned at the family home in Siletz last Friday, December 24, and the little fellow died some time later as a result.
The wway we got it the accident happened in the early morning when the father built th efire in the stove and left the house to attend to other duties and while he was out the baby is thought to have gotten too close to the stove and his clothing caoght on fire. Mrs. Hazelton heart the child scream but was unable to reach him in time to prevent the fatal burining.
Funeral services were held Sunday and burial was made in the Toledo cemetery. Rev. Bailey officiated.
This makes the second tragedy that has befallen Mr. and Mrs. Hazelton, they having lost a baby several months ago.
The sympathy of the entire community is extended to the bereaved parents.

LITTLE FALLS - Albert Stahl, 69, of Little Falls RD 2, (Shell's Bush Road), a retired automobile dealer, died Sunday in a Utica hospital where he had been a patient for a day.
He was born son of Charles and Maude Petrie Stahl. He atttended Little Falls schools and married Izetta Carney in 1926.
For several years, Mr. Stahl was a co-owner of the Decater-Stahl Automobile Agency in Dolgeville until his retirement in 1965, He was a member of the Little Falls Elks Lodge and was a member of the Morehouse Lake Club in Hoffmeister.
Besides his wife he leaves three daughters; Mrs. George (Arlene) Bundyk of Little Falls, Mrs. Leland (Betty) Harrod of Little Falls and Mrs. George (Beverly) Murphy of Whitesboro; two brothers, Robert and Harold, both of Little Falls and two sisters, Miss Eve Stahl, and Mrs. Jacob (Mildred) Lemche, both of Little Falls.
The funeral will be at 9 Thursday from the Sheehan Funeral Home, 16 N. Williams St., and at 9:30 from St, Mary's Church, Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery; Town of Herkimer.
A Prayer service will be Wednesday night in the funeral home. Calling hours will be from 7- to 9 today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Wednesday.

Mrs. Stahl was attired in --- and rose colored georetta and wore a rose colored hat. He rmaid was attired in piink flowered crepe, with blonde felt hat. They cattied bouquets of pink tea roses.
The bridegroom is employed by Barnet Leather Vompany. Mr. and Mrs. Stahl left for a northern honeymoon trip and upon their return they will make their home in John Street.

LITTLE FALLS — Paul Ruppert, 64, of 361 W. Monroe St, an employe of the Cherry Burrell Co. for more than 40 years, died yesterday in Little Falls Hospital after a short illness.
He was bom in, Calicoon, Sullivan County. He had lived here since about 1920. He married Marjorie Stahl here in 1938. She died in 1965. He was employed by the Cherry Burrell Co. as a machine operator. He was a member of Hartwick Baptist Church.
He leaves a son, Paul F. Ruppert, a daughter, Mrs. Joyce Treusdell, two brothers, Harold and Wallace Ruppert, and a sister, Mrs. Evelyn Tastle, all of here.
The funeral will be at 2 Tuesday from the Chapman Funeral Home with the Rev. Frederick C. Thorn, pastor of Little Falls Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Rural Park Cemetery, Inghams Mills.

Esther ''Jan'' Voss of 11 Sharon St. died Sunday at Geneva General Hospital.
Mrs. Voss was a native of Central Square. She retired as a supervising nurse at the former Syracuse General Hospital. Mrs. Voss received her registered nurse's degree from the former Syracuse General Hospital School of Nursing.
Mrs. Voss was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, its Dorcas Society and the Syracuse General Hospital Alumni Association.
Surviving are her husband, Charles W.; two sons, Gary C. of St. Louis, Mo., and Chris G. of Tuckahoe; a brother, Earl H. Getman of West Monroe; a sister, Ruth G. Hayes of Whitesboro; five grandchildren; and a nephew.

Charles W. Voss, 80, of Tampa, Fla., died Thursday at Tampa General Hospital.
Born and educated in Syracuse, he retired in 1979 as a control foreman with New York Telephone and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. He was a master sergeant in the Army during World War II and a member of the Geneva Masonic Lodge and Winnek American Legion Post 396.
His first wife, Esther "Jan" Getman Voss, and his second wife, Betty Doland Voss, died previously.
Survivors: Two sons, Gary of St. Louis, Mo., and Chris of Flemington, N.J.; five grandchildren.
Services: 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Zion Lutheran Church. Burial, noon Tuesday at Woodlawn Cemetery, Syracuse.

CENTRAL SQUARE - William S. Theall, 79, of Constantia, chairman of the Oswego County Civil Service Commission and former supervisor, died Friday night at Mt. Morris after a long illness.
Mr. Theall was a native of Durhamville and had lived in Constantia 50 years. He served eight years as supervisor of the Town of Constantia and was a 50-year member and past mast.er of Scriba Lodge, F&AM. He was a member of Constantia Congregational church and served as chairman of the Civil Service Commission many ycars.
Surviving besides his wife. Mrs. Iva Slocum Theall, are two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Reynolds, Constantia, and Mrs. Alice Jeffries, Cardiff; a granddaughter, four great-grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Kenneth Harris, Costanstantia, and a nephew.

Mr. Livingston was a veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Louise Blacking Livingston; five sons, Norman, Keith, Mark, Larry and James Livingston, and his mother, Mrs. Edith Winn of Constantia.

Louise Livingston, 88, died Tuesday, January 3, 2017, at Testa Family Hospice of Kings Mountain. She was born in Hamburg, New York to the late Wilbert and Alice Wilson Blacking.
PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Livingston.
SURVIVED: She is survived by her sons, Mark Livingston and wife Lori of Shelby, Larry Livingston of Jordan, NY, and James Livingston and wife Lauri of Canton, Oh; seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

CONSTANTIA - Miss Louise Edith Blacking of Skaneateles and Robert I. Livingston of Consiantia were united in marriage Saturday. Dec. 17, at 1:30 p. m. in Central Church of Christ Disciples, Auburn. The Rev. Alfred Herman performed the double ring ceremony which united the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbirt C. Blacking of Skaneteles and the son of Mrs. Edith Livingston Winn of Constantia and the late Irving L. Livingston.
White candles and baskets of white flowers formed the setting with a musical background provided by organ selections.
Given tn marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor-length gown of white satin with an overskirt of net. The gown which was made by the bride, featured long sleves which endedin poinits over the hands. Her fingertip veil fell from a crown outlined with seed pearls and sequins, She carried a Colonial bouquet of white carnations.
Mrs. Kenneth Eaton of Skaneateles was matron of honor, wearing deep blue taffeta in floor-length which was styled identical to that of the bride. Her flowers were pink carnations in a Colonial arrangement.
Lee Alcholtz of North Syracuse was best man. Norman Goodale of Constantia and Bruce Reagan of North Syracuse served as ushers.
The bride's mother, favored a mauve crepe dress with black accessories and white carnation corsage. The mother of the bridegroom was attired in maroon taffeta with black accessories and white carnation corsage.
Reception was held at the IOOF Hall in Auburn, after which the couple left on a wedding trip to the Southern States. For traveling the bride selected a white knit dress with white hat and gloves, a fur cape and red carnation corsage. Upon returning they will reside in Jordan road Skaneateles.
The bride was graduated from Skaneateles High School and is employed as secretary at Skanesteles Central School. Her husband was graduated from North Syracuse High School and Oswego State Teachers College. He is employed by the Onondaga Board of Cooperative Services.
