- Jennie's mother was Mary George. Apparantly, Mary was not married when Jennie was born, so her sister, Elizabeth and husband Burton Higday, raised Jennie. Mary later married and moved to Nebraska but Jennie remained with the Higdays and used their last name. The format of this program doesn't allow me to enter the Higdays as Jennie's parents or show that she was adopted or was a foster child. This program is for blood relatives (DNA) only.
