Mary K. Holden, 71, of Amarillo died Friday, Jan. 9, 2004.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd., with the Rev. Gerald Holden, Methodist minister, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery.
Mrs. Holden was born in Vernon. She had been a technician for North American Aviation at Autonetics in Anaheim, Calif. and later worked for J.C. Penney's in Joplin, Mo. She was a Quaker.
She married Richard Holden on Feb. 19, 1970, in Orange, Calif.
She was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Hollingsworth; two brothers, Joe Caroll Baker and Jackie Bob Baker; and a grandchild, Leslie Lynn Adams.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Cathy Adams of Vernon and Laura Henry of Greeley, Colo.; three brothers, William B. Baker of Santa Fe, N.M., Donald Ray Baker of Murrieta, Calif. and Robert Dean Baker of Amarillo; five sisters, Frances Walker of Vernon, Imogene Collins of Fort Worth, Betty Jean Anderson of Miami, Carolyn Ann Homer of Amarillo and Judy Kay Cates of Arlington; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to BSA Hospice, P.O. Box 909, Amarillo, TX 79176-0001.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Services for DR Harold Burton Goodell "Doc" Goodell, 74, are scheduled for 10AM Wednesday at the First Presbyterian Church in Rapid City, where the Rev Fred Evans will officiate.
Eulogies will be delivered by Bob Hunt, Bob Frankenfeld and Barney Lewellyn. Burial with graveside rites are scheduled at Mountain View Cemetery under the direction of Behren's' Mortuary.
Goodell, a prominent Rapid City athlete, couch, trainer and athletic director, died Sunday evening in Rapid City Hospital, following a short illness.
He was born Oct 21, 1904 at Fairfax IA, to Floyd Burton and Cora Weston Goodell. He moved to South Dakota with his family in 1906. He was a ranking professional boxer at the age of 17.
He graduated from Mitchell High School, the University of Washington in Seattle in 1930, and Colorado College of Podiatry in Denver in 1933. Goodell also attended the University of Wyoming, the University of Colorado Medical School and numerous coaching schools.
He served in the ROTC, the National Guard in Rapid City and the US Army Air Corps in Riverside California.
In 1931, Goodell married Gertrude Caulkins in Seattle WA. In the same year he started at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology in Rapid City as boxing, wrestling and assistant football coach.
During his long career at Tech, Goodell also served as head track coach, director of inter mural sports , director of student health services, director of athletics, professor of physical education and athletic trainer.
Goodell taught kinesology and physical education at Black Hills State College in Spearfish, served as an instructor in athletic injuries at Rushmore Coaching School in Rapid City, served on the staff of the South Dakota Athletic Clinic in Huron SD;served as consultant in setting up training and health services, lectured at many coaching clinics and wrote many articles about the treatment and are of injuries.
Goodell retired from Tech in 1970 after almost 48 years of service, since then he had continued in the practice of Podiatry.
Goodell was named to the Helms Hall of National Association of intercollegiate Athletics Hall of Fame in 1959, the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame in 1959, the Rapid City Sports Hall of Fame in 1974,South Dakota Sports Hall of Fame in 1975 and the South Dakota Cowboy Hall and Western Heritage Hall of Fame in 1978.
He was on the South Dakota Podiatry Board of Examiners from 1943 to 1964 and served as chairman for several years, was a member and served as chairman of the National Association of Podiatrist and was a member and chairman of the State Association of Podiatrists.
Goodell was listed in the National Register of Predominant Americans and International Notables,Outstanding Personalities of the West and Midwest, Creative and Successful Personalities of the World and Outstanding Americans. He received a South Dakota Intercollegiate Conference Special Award, an honor award from the South Dakota Association of Health,Physical Education and Recreation and a State of South Dakota Service Certificate.
In additions to his other professional affiliations, Goodell was member of the Elks Lodge, and Lions Club and served on several city committees.
Survivors include his wife, Gertrude, of Rapid City; three daughters Connie Jean Denker (Roger)or Warrensburg MO, Barbara Ann Alton ( Alton) of Des Moines IA and Sandra A Kearns (Tom) of Rapid City: on son Harold LaDuke "Duke" of Rapid City, and eight grandchildren.
A memorial for track and field athletics is being established and in the course of time, the Field House for Basketball was name Goodell Gymnasium.

Annabelle Lee Campbell, 84, of Springfield, was born on July 29, 1923, in Havana, Kansas, to the late Bert and Mildred (Caulkins) Brixey, and passed away on October 17, 2007. Annabelle was united in marriage to James Varnon Campbell in 1945. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Annabelle was born deaf and never saw this as a disability. She is also a cancer survivor. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Annabelle was preceded in death by her loving husband, parents and two brothers, Neal and Jack Brixey. She is survived by her daughter, Sally Ann Chadwick and husband, Jay; two grandchildren that were her pride and joy, Arin Campbell Chadwick and Amanda Lee Chadwick; four sisters, Ruby Arnold, Catherine Cale, Bonnie Outersky and Loretta Stocksick; and her numerous deaf friends. Funeral services will be held today, October 20, 2007, at 10 a.m. in Greenlawn Funeral Home South. Cremation will follow the services. In lieu of plants and flowers, the family requests donations be made in Annabelle's memory to First Baptist Church or left at the funeral home.

Dolgeville — A double funeral service for George Milo Lyon, 23, of 14 Nutchler St., and Mrs. Shirley Lyon Williams, 20, also of Dolgeville, cousins, who were injured fatally Nov. 1, 1951, in an automobile accident, will be held at 2 Sunday from the First Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert Belbin, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Dolgeville Cemetery.

Lyon was born Oct. 4, 1928, in Dolgeville, a son of Lyndon and Ruth Pierce Lyon. He attended Dolgeville schools and was employed by Delson Inc. He was a member of the Alfred Dolge Hose Company the Dolgeville Rod adn Gun Club and bowled with the Lion Hunters team in the Village bowling league.

West Winfield — Mrs Lela Viola Eckler, 77, who taught in area schools for 23 years, died Wednesday in the Genesee Nursing Home, Utica. The window of Claude B. Eckler, she had resided the past few years here with a cousin, Mrs. Daisy Rose.
Mrs. Eckler was a 40-year member of Winfield Chapter, OES; a member of Emanuel Congregational Church and of its societies, and of Gen. Winfield Scott Chapter, DAR.
She was born in the Town of Columbia, daughter of John and Cora Firman House. She was a 1901 graduate of West Winfield High School, and a 1902 graduate of IIion Teachers' Training School.
She was married in 1925 to Mr. Eckler, of Ilion. The couple resided many years in the Town of Columbia where Mr. Eckler operated a farm, before moving to West Winfield in 1948. Mr. Eckler died in 1951.
Besides her cousin, Mrs. Eckler leaves a stepdaughter, Maj. Calistabelle Dethloff, an Air Force nurse stationed in Japan, and a brother, Loren House, of West Winfield.
The funeral will be at 2 Sunday from the Wilcox Funeral Home with the Rev. John W. Elliott, pastor of the Millers Mills Community Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Cedarville.

Wst Winfield - The funeral of Mrs. Lee Cole was held yesterday afternoon at the home on North Street at 1:30 and the Baptist Church at 2 o'clock, burial being made in Cedarville Cemetery.

JORDANVILLE — James Lee Cole, 90, a retired farmer, died yesterday in the home of his daughter. Mrs. Ruth Calman, 81 Columbia St, Mohawk, where he had been visiting.
Mr. Cole was born in the Town of Winfield. He attended West Winfield schools. He married Grace House of Winfield, who died in 1929. He married Laura Armstrong of Ilion in 1941.
In 1951, he retired from farming and moved to Jordanville, where he was superintendent of the Jordanville Cemetery. Mr. Cole was a member of the Jordanville Grange and the Federated Church.
He leaves his wife and daughter and a sister, Mrs. Alta Ames of Richfield Springs.

CEDARVILLE — Irving E. Doremus, 84, a retired dairy farmer and life resident of this area, died yesterday in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Hollis Petrie of Cedarville.
He was born in the Town of Columbia and attended local schools. He married Alice House in 1910 in the Town of Winfield. She died in 1950.
Mr. Doremus operated his farm in the Cedarville area for many years. He was a member of the People's Undenominational Church and the former Order of Macabees, and the Litchfield Grange.
Besides Mrs. Petrie, he leaves three other daughters, Mrs. Robert (Grace) Russell of Ilion, Mrs. Ellis (Bernice) Springer of Richfield Springs and Mrs. Kenneth (Cora) Reuben of New Hartford, and a son, Eugene Doremus of Cedarville.

CEDARVILLE - Mrs Cora D Reuben, 64, of this community, widow of Kenneth J. Reuben, died Wednesday at Faxton Hospital, Utica, after a long illness.
She was born in West Winfield, October 6, 1915, the daughter of Irving and Alice House Doremus She was educated at the West Winfield Academy, and later graduated from the Utica School of Commerce and the Utica Beauty School She was married in 1949 to Mr Reuben and the couple resided for many years in New Hartford. He died in 1977 Mrs. Reuben was employed at one time by the Gulf Oil Company and later at TV Station WKTV. in more recent years she worked as a secretary at the Selective Service Board in Utica. She was a member of the Peoples Undenominational Church in Cedarville.
She leaves three sisters, Mrs Elva Petrie, Cedarville, Mrs. Robert (Grace) Russell, Utica and Mrs. Ellis (Bernice) Springer. Richfield Springs; one brother, Eugene Doremus, West Winfield; also several nieces and nephews.

Kenneth John Reuben 69 of 212 Winchester Drive died Monday at St Elizabeth's Hospital.
He was born in Utica, the son of John and Elizabeth Darby Reuben and received his education in Utica schools. In 1949, in New York City, he married the former Cora Doremus, and has made his home in New Harford since 1952. For many years , Mr. Reuben owned and operated the ABC Furniture Cleaning Company until his retirement in 1970. Mr. Reuben was an Army veteran of WWII.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one sister, Mrs. Travis (Mildred) Porter of Utica: one brother Edward of Yorkville. The funeral will be Wednesday afternoon at 1pm at the Heintz Funeral Home. 1517 Whitesboro Street. Calling hours at the funeral home are Tuesday evening 7-9.
