CORA L. DAVIES RITES TUESDAY Cora L. Davies. 84, 116 N. College St., Spencerville died at Memorial hospital, Saturday evening. Death followed complications from a fractured leg on Oct. 29.
Mrs. Davies had lived in the, Spencerville community nearly all her life. She was a member of the First Federated church in Spencerville and the Ida Rebekah lodge also the W. B. A.
She is survived by two sons Paul F. Covey of Muncie, Ind., and Homer Covey of Mountain View, Calif.; two daughters Mrs. F. M. Stepleton of Muncie, Ind,, and Mrs. E. R. Muller of Montclair, N. J., also five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday p. m. at the First Federated church with Rev. Arlie Porter assisted by Rev. C. C. Ryan, officiating. Burial was made in the Spencerville cemetery. C. B. Miller St Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements..

Mrs. Naomi Decker, wife of John Deckera died suddenly at her Spencerville home, Tuesday evening, at 10:15 p. m. Death was due to a cerebral hemorrhage. She had been ill but three days.
Naomi Rider was the daughter of Henry and Anna Fryer Rider, and was born near Spencerville, April 8, 1874. At the time of her death she was 61 years, 1 month and 20 days of age.
She was educated in the Spencerville pulbfic schools and all of her life was spent in Spencerville or the Spencerville community.
March 5, 1891, she was united in marriage to John Decker. To this union four children were born: Leatha, Odes, Harold and Edna Naomi.
She was a member of the local Federated Church, and was also a member of the following lodges: Eastern Star Chapter; Ida Rebekah and W. B. A.
Surviving are her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Leatha Vorhees, Lima; Mrs. Odes Jenkins, Lima Mrs. Edna Naomi Croft, Lima. One son Harold Decker, Cridersville. One brother. Mack Rider, Corbral, California. One sister, Mrs. J. P. Davies, Spencervlle. Two grand-children aso survive.
Last sad rites were held Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock, at the local Federated church in charge of Rev. C. C. Ryan, and Rev. A. C. Yost, and C. B. Miller & Son, and interment was made in the Spencerville cemetery.

JOHN DECKER FUNERAL FRIDAY
John M. Decker, 82, retired cement contractor, died at his home. Route 1, Spencerville, Tuesday at 9 P. M. from a heart attack. He had been ailing for three years. He was a member of the Masonic lodge of Spencerville.
Mr. Decker is survived by his wife Ida; three daughters, Mrs. Letha Vorhees, and Mrs. Edna Croft both of Lima, and Mrs. Odes Jenkins of East Jordan, Mich.; one son, Harold Decker of Cridersville.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 P. M. at the First Federated church in Spencerville. Rev. C. C. Ryan will officiate. The body will remain at the C. B Miller & Son funeral home until time for services at the church. Burial will be made in the Spencerville cemetery.

RACHEL BELLE RIDER:
Rachel B. Adams passed away at the home of her son, Otis Adams, Spencerville, Thursday evening at 10:45 o'clock, from complications after an illness of several years.
She was the daughter of Joseph and Mahala (Rupert) Rider, and was born in Van Wert county, September 27, 1872. At the time of her death she was 74 years, 7 months, and 11 days of age.
She is survived by 4 daughters, Mrs. Lewis Niedermeyer, Saint Marys, Mrs. Leo Sherman, Spencerville, Mrs. Forest Edman, of Yuma, Arizona, and Mrs. Melvin Howell, of RFD Spencerville; 7 sons, Ora, Otis, James, Vernon, Lloyd, and Layton, all of Spencerville; and Clayton of Mendon; 22 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mrs. Harley Slentz of Spencerville and Mrs. Lavina Simpson, of the state of Michigan; 3 brothers James Rider and John Rider, of Spencerville, and Thomas Rider of Mendon.
Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Salem Presbyterian Church, in charge of Rev. Fara Laman, and C.B. Miller & Son, and interment was made in the New Salem Cemetery.
