PUTVIN, Eugenia - of Bradenton, Florida formerly of Flint, Michigan passed away October 11, 2014. She was born in Bay City, Michigan to the late Thomas and Eugenia (Heritier) DeShano. She worked beside her husband at Putvin Pharmacy in Flint, Michigan for over 30 years. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and Daughters of Isabella of Flint. She moved to Bradenton, Florida in 1985 and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She was predeceased by her husband James Putvin in 1999, son Joseph Putvin in 1978, son-in-law Joseph Sutherby in 1992, daughter-in-law Susan K. Putvin in 1998, and grandson James Putvin III in 1997. She is survived by her six sons; James Putvin II of Bradenton, Thomas (Sandra) Putvin of Shelby Township, Michigan, Richard (Mary) of Sparta, Michigan, Larry (Linda) of Grandville, Michigan, Mark (Char) of Battle Creek, Michigan, and Andy (Becky) of Flushing, Michigan; three daughters; Janice Putvin of Plant City, Florida, Jeanette (Jim) Gray of Burton, Michigan, and Loretta (Ric) Golding of Bradenton, Florida; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren that provided her endless hours of joy; loving, caring caregiver Lisa Beach, and many extended family members.

Jesse L. Logsdon Jr., 72, died Thursday.
He was born July 4, 1928, and was a lifetime resident of Las Vegas. He was a retired Air Force veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars, and a corrections officer with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
He is survived by his wife, Jessie of Las Vegas; son, Michael of El Paso, Texas; daughters, D'Anne Coder, Elaine Rausch and Debra, all of Las Vegas; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held. Services are pending. Hites Funeral Home handled the arrangements.

Jeanette Ruth DePew of Cadillac died Thursday, July 15, 2010 at Mercy Hospital in Cadillac. She was 80.
On Sept. 12, 1929, she was born in Cadillac to Dewitt and Thelma (Whitney) Pierson. She married Richard D. DePew Oct. 15, 1955 in Cadillac, and he preceded her in death Nov. 17, 1999. She was a life-long resident of Cadillac and was employed at Jess Johnson Photography developing photos before retiring to become a devoted housewife and mother.
She loved being outside, planting bushes and trees, doing yard work and crocheting. Her joy was babysitting children in younger years. Faith and love for people were strong values.
She is survived by her daughter, Hope DePew of Cadillac; sisters, Lois (Richard) Powell of Brentwood, Calif. and Helen (William) Brinkman of East Lansing; brother-in-law, John Parker of Farwell; sisters-in-law, Edward (Elsie) DePew and Bonnie DePew, all of Rensselaer, Ind., and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Russell Segerstrom; a sister, Joyce Parker; a nephew, Steven Parker, and a cousin, Marilyn Wright.

Hope DePew, of Cadillac, died Thursday, October 4, 2012, at her home. She was 54.
Hope was born on March 18, 1958, in Cadillac, to Richard D. and Jeanette R. (Pierson) Depew. She graduated from Cadillac High School in 1976 and attended Judson University. Hope had been employed at various places in Cadillac, most recently at Wal-Mart. She attended First Baptist Church in Cadillac, and she enjoyed quilting, sewing, knitting and chatting with friends.
Survivors include her aunts and uncles, John Parker of Farwell, Helen (William) Brinkman of East Lansing, Bonnie DePew, and Edward (Elsie) DePew, all of Indiana, and Lois (Richard) Powell of California; godmother, Donna Tyler of Holland and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father in 1999, and her mother in 2010; also many aunts, uncles and cousins.
