HENDERSON - Joshua F. Lane, 60, of Henderson, R.D. 1, died at 2:55 this morning in the House of the Good Samaritan where he had been a patient since Aug. 31.
The funeral will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Carpenter- Satoodley funeral home in Belleville with Rev. Paul E. Cauviel, pastor of the Henderson Methodist church officiationg. The burial will be in Evergreen cemetery, Roberts Corners.
Frinds may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 Saturday.
Surviving is a wife, Ariel; two sons, Howard W. Lane, Adams; Chyme F. Lane, Henderson R.D.; one sister, Mrs. Lester (Bertha) Overton, Smithville; and thrree grandchildren.
Mr. Lane was born Sept/ 14, 1906, in Rodman, a son of Frank and Minerva Lane. He married Ariel Wicks of Theresa on Jan. 2, 1946.
The family lived near Henderson. Mr. Lane was a carpenter employed in construction. He was a member of Local 278, Carpenters union.

Ariel N. Lane
HENDERSON — The funeral for Ariel N. Lane, 90, Route 3, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Carpenter-Stoodley Funeral Home, Belleville, with the Rev. Laurel Barber, pastor of Henderson United Methodist Church, officiating. Spring burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Lane died Sunday morning in the Skilled Nursing Unit at Carthage Area Hospital.
Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Lane raised English shepherd dogs for 24 years, was a substitute mail carrier for Henderson Post Office and had worked at Rhodes Nursery and Greenhouse for many years.
Born Nov. 6, 1918, in Theresa, daughter of Earl and Vara Townsend Wicks, she graduated from Theresa Schools, where she played trombone in the marching band.
She married Joshua F. Lane. He died Sept. 8, 1967.
Mrs. Lane enjoyed horses, dogs and flower gardening.
Surviving are a son and his wife, Chyme F. and Torre J., Henderson; two sisters, Arah Meeks and Avis Erwin, both of Watertown; a sister-in-law, Marion Wicks, Philadelphia; a grandson, and many nieces and nephews.
A brother, Kent Wicks, and two sisters, Arla Sasanbury and Ardis Chimber, died before her.
Donations may be made to the American Heart Association or Alzheimer's Association.

Mrs. Edwin Weaver, 42, wife of Edwin Weaver, died at her home, 43 Cayadutta Street, Tuesday afternoon, following an illness of six months.
Mrs. Weaver was born in Benson and had resided most of her life in Gloversville. She was a member of the First Methodist Church.
The survivorsbesides her husband, are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Walker, one daughter, Ada May Weaver, and two sons, Robert and Melvin Weaver, who reside at home; two brothers, Edmond Walker, Gloversville and Robert Walker, Johnstown.

FORT PLAIN - Emery Weaver, 71, of Nelliston died last evening at St. Mary's hospital in Amsterdam where he had been a patient for three days.
Born on Nov. 27, 1891, in the Town of Palatine, he was the son of Peter and Anna Baum Weaver and had been a resident of Palatine his entire life. He resided in Nelliston for the past 20 years.
Mr. Weaver was a dairy farmer until 1941 when he became employed at the former Adler's Creamery in Fort Plain, retirine in 1956.
On Jun 3, 1922, he married Miss Ruth LaLone in Snellsbush, Town of St. Johnsville, who died July 22, 1956.
He was a member of the Stone Arabia Reformed Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Carlton Christman of Fort Plain R.D. 2; three sons, Walter of Ames, and Milton and Herbert of Palatine Bridge R.D. 1, several neices and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 3 p.m. at the Swartz funeral home in Fort Plain, with the Rev. Gordon Alexander, pastor of the Fort Plain Reformed Church, officiationg.
Burial will be in the West St. Johnsville Cemetery in the spring.

FORT. PLAIN — Mrs. Ruth Weaver, 56, died last night at her home at School St., Nelliston, after an illness of two months. Born March 26, 1900, in the Town of Canajoharie, she was a daughter of Henry and Florence Schoonmaker LeLone.
A lifelong resident of this area, she was married to Mr. Weaver June 3, 1932. She was a member of the Stone Arabia Reformed Church and the Ladies' Aid Society of the church.
Besides her husband at Nelliston, she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Carlton Christman, Ephratah; ( three sons, Walter, Palatine Bridge, Herbert and Milton, Nelliston; her mother, Mrs.
Florence LeLone; two sisters, Mrs. Maurice Lamphere, Stone Arabia, and Mrs. Walter Timerman, Watertown; one brother, Donald LeLone, St. Johnsville; three grandchildren; nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will bo held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Swartz funeral home, Fort Plain, with Adrian Gray, a student supply minister at Stone Arabia Reformed Church, officiating. Burial will be in West St Johnsville Cemetery.

CANAJOHARIE — John D. Weaver, 66, died this morning at St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam

Weaver, Palatine Rd.; five sons, Floyd of Syracuse, Harvey of Palatine Bridge," Virgil of Fort Plain Rd., Ostram of Canajoharie RD., and Raymond of Palatine Bridge; four daughters, Mrs. Sadie Dillenbeck of Fort Plain R.D., Miss Gertrude, Miss Hazel and Miss Norma, all of Palatine R.D.; one brother, Mortimer of Palatine R.D.; one sister, Mrs. Sadie Blakeslee of Palatine R.D.; one uncle, 18 grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church In Stone Arabia, with the Rev. Theodore Hammer, officiating.

Rev Theodore E. Hammer, pastor, performed the double ring ceremony. Mrs. Leta Saltsman of Palatine Bridge RD 1 played the traditional wedding music on the organ.
The bride was attired in a white raised flower net ballerina length dress with a satin cummerbund. It had a scooped neckline and puffed shoulder sleeves. The skirt was designed in bouffant style. A face length veil was attached to a bridal crown. She carried a white prayer book mounted with white pompons and centered with yellow pompons.
Miss Hazel Weaver, Palatine Bridge, sister of the bridegroom, was maid of honor. She wore a ballerina length gown of blue lace with a scooped neckline and puffed sleeves. She had a full hooped skirt. Her face length veil was caught to a crown of rhinestones. She carried a corsage of white and blue pompons.
Miss Norma Weaver, Palatine Bridge RD1, and Mrs. Sadie Dillenbeck, Fort Plain, sister of the bridegroom were bridla attendants. They were dressed in gowns identical to the honor attendant in fall colors.

PALATINE BRIDGE — Miss Norma L. Weaver, daughter of Mrs. Hazel Weaver, Palatine
Bridge R.D. 1. and the late John Weaver, was united in marriage Saturday afternoon to George Frasier, son of Mr. and Mrs. Brayton Frasier, Fort Plain R.D. 1, at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Stone Arabia. The Rev. Theodore. E. Hammer, pastor of the church, performed the double ring ceremony. Mrs. Wilbur Saltsman, organist, played a recital of traditional wedding music and John Simpson was soloist.
The bride, given in marriage by her uncle. Mortimer Weaver, Palatine Bridge R.D. 1. wore a white gown of lace over taffeta terminating in a short train, neckline designed with a rolled collar effect with rhinestones and with pointed fingertip sleeves. Her fingertip veil of nylon net fell from a headpiece fashioned of crystals. She carried a bouquet of white spring flowers centered with a corsage of red roses.
Miss Gertrude Weaver, Palatine Bridge, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor, wearing a ballerina-length gown of powder blue nylon taffeta with a rounded neckline. It was sleeveless and fashioned with a wide shoulder strap and a full hooped skirt. She wore a white lace headpiece and carried a Colonial bouquet of pink carnations. Mrs.
Mrs. Hazel Edick, Philadelipha, Pa., sister of the bride, and Mrs. William Dillenbeck Jr., Fort Plain, another sister of the bride, served as bridesmaids. They were dressed identically to the honor attendant in pale pink and carried Colonial bouquets of bright pink carnations. Miss Joanne Dillenbeck, Fort Plain, niece of the bride, was flower girl, dressed m powder blue identical to the other attendants. She carried a basket of multi-colored spring flowers.
Cyrus Frasier, Fort Plain, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. The guests were seated by William Dillenbeck J r . , Fort Plain, and Howard Edick Jr.. Philadelphia. Pa., both brothers-in-law of the bride.
The mother of the bride chose a dress of orchid chiffon with harmonizing accessories and a corsage of whiten carnations. The mother of the bridegroom wore a spring dress with harmonizing accessories and a corsage of pink carnations.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the church hall with a buffet luncheon served to about 200 guests attending from Fort Plain, Canajoharie, Palatine Bridge, Stone Arabia, Philadelphia, Pa., Syrajcuse, Johnstown, Gloversville, Broadalbin, Mayfield and Oppenheim.
For her wedding trip to the southern part of the state, the bride chose a black sheath dress with pink accessories and a red rose corsage. After March 30 the couple will make their home temporarily with the bride's mother.
The bride graduated from Canajoharie Central School in 1963 and is employed as a waitress at the Jack Frost restaurant in Palatine Bridge.
The bridegroom graduated from Fort Plain Central School in I960 and is employed at the Palatine Dyeing Co., St. Johnsville.
