Germain F. Rich, a life long resident of this village, suffered a stroke of apoplexy and died after two days illness at the home of his daughter, Mrs. A. C. Dennie, where he had made his home for some time. His wife died several years ago. He is survived by his daughter and one son Earl Rich and one granddaughter, Mrs. Harrison J. Taylor. Funeral services conducted by the Rev. G. M. Sleeman were held at his late home Monday afternoon. C. E. Reese, F. J. Rich, Allen Dale, Geo. N. Hamlin, D. O. Gurley and Geo. E. Field acted as bearers. The remains will be placed in the receiving vault at Riverside cemetery and interment made later at Amboy.

Franklin Rood, sixty-six years old. passed away at his home, 824 Bell Street, Monday afternoon following a long illness.
Surviving besides wife, Mrs. Ella Rood, are two daughters, Mrs. E. I Mallory, and Mrs. Dillie Sherwood, Buffalo; father, Isaac Rood, this city: and one grandchild.
The body was removed to Buffalo to the home of his daughter. Burial will be in Altman, N. Y.

MOHAWK - Mrs. Edna Fenton, 79, a 50-year member of Mohawk Chapter OES, died yesterday in her home at 19 W. Center St.
Borm March 15, 1886, in Richfield Springs, a daughter of Willis and Clorinda Dygert Firman, she was married to Warren Fenton in 1906. He died in 1939. She was a member of the Methodist Church and its EverReady Class.
Surviving are three sons, Lynn. Ilion; Ward, Mohawk; and Lyle, Forestport; a brother, Kenneth Firman, Lathams, three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Rev. Rollo D. Pierce, Methodist Church pastor, will conduct services 10 a.m. Monday from her late home, with burial in Mohawk Cemetery. Calling hours ar 7 to 9 tonight, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 tomorrow at her home. Funeral arrangements are by the Graves Funeral Home.

FRANKFORT—Miss Rose Conte, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Conte, 104 Church St., and Lynn Fenton, son of Mrs. Edna Fenton, 19 W. Center St., Mohawk, were married at 10 a. m. today at St. Mary’s Church by the Rev. Michael Fufferd, pastor.
Bouquets of flowers decorated the church. Mrs. Mamie Lille was vocalist.
In the bridal party were Miss Mary Nicolette, Frankfort, maid of honor, Miss June Fenton, bridesmaid; and Miss Mary Ann Scamardo, flower girl. Michael Conte, brother of the bride, served as best man and Joseph Simonette was usher.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, was gowned in imported white Chantilly lace over nylon tulle, cut with a tight bodice peek-a-boo neckline trimmed with pearls and rhinestones, long sleeves and a full skirt flowing into a long triple train of lace. Her fingertip illusion veil fell from a queen’s. crown of pearls and rhinestone and she carried an orchid and chrysanthemum bouquet.
Miss Nicolette wore lavender lace and nylon with matching accessories and carried deep orchid color pompons, while the bridesmaid was in blue nylon and brocade with matching accessories and carried yellow pompons.
The flower girl’s frock was also of blue nylon and brocade with matching accessories and a bouquet of yellow pompons.
After a reception at the American Legion home in Ilion, the couple will leave on a trip to Washington, D. C. They will make their home at 19 W. Center St., Mohawk
The bride, who received her education at Frankfort High School, is employed as a handmiller at the Remineton Arms plant in Ilion, while the bridegroom, who attended Mohawk High School, is an inspector at the Arms plant.
