  Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Cunningham Van Dyke, former Albany resident who died Saturday at her home in Schenectady after a long illness, will be at 10 a. m. tomorrow in Schenectady.
  Mrs. Van Dyke, who lived in Albany from 1929 to 1942, was a member of Dutch Settlers of Albany. Daughters of 1812, Colonial Daughters of the 17th Century and Daughters of American Colonists. She was a member of the Albany Women's Club and Daughters of the American Revolution when she lived in Albany. The widow of Clifford S. Van Dyke, her only survivor is a
daughter, Miss Ella Van Dyke, Schenectady.

 - Obituary (
  Clifford S. Van Dyke, rate engineer of the New York Power & Light Corporation and an employe of that company for 35 years, is dead at his home, 344 New Scotland Ave, He retired last fall.
  He began his career with the utility at Schenectady as an operating superintendent in 1906 and then went to Amsterdam as district engineer. He came to Albany in 1927 as rate engineer.
   Mr. Van Dyke was born in Greenville, Ohio, in 1876, was graduated from Ohio State University as an electrical engineer. Before joining the power company he worked for the General Electric Company at Schenectady.
  Besides his wife he is survived by the daughter, Ella Van Dyke. Funeral services will be Sunday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. from the funeral home of Alex G. Baxter & Son, Schenectady. The body will be cremated.
 
  - Obituary (The Daily Advocate, Greenville, OH, Tuesday, May 19, 1992)
  Word has been received here of the death of Clifford S. Van Dyke, member of a prominent, pioneer Greenville family, which occurred recently at his late home at Albany, N. Y, He had been employed by the New York Power and Light Corporation for the last thirty-five years.
   The body was cremated following funeral services at Schenectady, N. Y., where Mr. Van Dyke had formerly resided.
  He was bom in Greenville in 1876, a son of the late George and Mary L. Van Dyke. He Was a nephew ot the late Ella Van Dyke St. Clair, whose residence on E. Third street is now a home for the aged. Her husband, Henry St. Clair, donated St. Clair Memorial Hall to the city.
   Mr. Van Dyke graduated from Ohio State University as an electrical engineer and for several years was connected with the General Electrical Company at Schenectady. He had lived at Alabama since 1927.
  Surviving are a wife and one daughter, Ella Van Dyke.

  Mrs. Ida A. Hannah died at her residence, 916 Third Avenue, yesterday after a long illness. She was a life long resident of Troy and a member of St. Mark's Methodist Church. Mrs. Hanhah was the wife of the late Joseph Hanana and is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Irene Hannah Campbell; two brothers, William S. Quacken, Redmond, Wash, and George F. Quackenbush, of Troy, and two grandchildren, Georgiana and Jane Campbell. The funeral will be private from her residence at 10:30 am. Monday, with Rev. Ernest F.   Joseph Hannah, one-time member of the Fake Hook and Ladder Co. and a former grocery operator, died yeaterday afternoon at his home, 916 Third Avenue, after a lingering llness. A native of Lanslngburg, Mr. Hannah had always made his home in that section. He was a member of St. Mark's Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, the former Amelia Quackenbush; a daughter, Mrs. Irene Campbell; two granddaughters, Miss Georgiana and Miss Jane Campbell, all of Troy, and three nieces and a nephew. Funeral services will be conducted from the residence Thursday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Ernest F. Tripp, pastor of St. Mark's Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery.

  Died aboard the USS Hornet after a Japanese aircraft crashed into the Hornet's signal bridge during the Battle of Santa Cruz on 26 October 1942. The Hornet later sank from battle damage. He served as the ship's supply officer.

  George F. Quackenbush, former head of the linen and domestic supplies department at the William H. Frear & Co. store, where he was employed for more than thirty years, died this morning at his home, 766 Second Avenue, after a long illness.
  Born in Troy May 25, 1881, he was the son of the late John H. and Josephine Fisher Quackenbush. Most of his business career was spent in the linen department of Frears store, where he was buyer for years.
  Mr. Quackenbush was a member of Phoenix Lodge, F.&A.M.; Phoenix Chapter, R.A.M., Apollo Commandery K.T.; Oriental Temple, A.A.O.N.M.S., the Scottish Rite bodies, Bloss Council, R.&S.M., and Albany Soverign Consistory. He was a member of St. Mark's Methodist Church.
  The survivors are his wife, the former Norine M. Haggerty; a son, George A. Quackenbush, and a daughter, Norine M. Quackenbush, all of Troy, and a brother William S. Quackenbush of Seattle, Wash.

  TROY - Norine M. Quackenbush, 50, of 766 Second Ave., an employee of the accounting department at Cluett, Peabody Co. Inc., died early Thursday at Leonard Hospital after a car accident Wednesday night on Northern Drive in Lansingburgh.
  Born in Troy, she was daughter of Norine Haggerty Quackenbush of Troy and the late George F. Quackenbush. A graduate of Lansingburgh High School, Miss Quackenbush was a communicant of St. Augustine's Church and member of Frear Park Women's Golf Association and the Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America.
  Survivors, in addition to her mother, include a brother, George A. Quackenbush of Latham.
  The funeral will be held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday from Frank P. McDonald Funeral Home, 870 Second Ave. in Lansingburgh, and at 9 a.m. from St. Augustine's Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Troy.

  Mrs. Jennie Swart Potter of Glenville, widow of Rev. Dr. Clayton J. Potter, former pastor of the First Reformed Church, died yesterday in Canaan, Conn., at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Gron P. Lloyd.
  Mrs. Portter was a native of Glenville and a lifelong resident of this area. In recent years she had spent her winters in Florida and summers at Glenville. She went to visit her daughter about a month ago.
  Her husband, Dr. Potter died in July 1950. He had been pastor of the First Reformed Church from 1910 to 1938, between the tenures of two of the church's most colorful ministers, Dr. George R. Lunn and Rev. Clark V. Poling.
  Surviving ar her daughter, Mrs. Lloyd, a granddaughter, Miss Catherine Keely, Cannan and a sister, Mrs. Harry Parsons, of Wethersfield, Conn.
  Funerl services, private for relatives, will be held at 3:30 o'clock monday afternoon at Baxter;s funeral parlors. The parlors will be open Sunday evening from 7 to 9 o'clock.

  Rev. Dr. Clayton J. Potter, 72, a former pastor of the Congregational Church here, died last week in Glenville, N.Y. A retired minister of the Congregational and Reformed Churches, he was pastor of the Lenox church in 1905, and later was pastor of the Simsbury Congregational Church in Connecticut and the First Reformed Church in Schenectady, NY., serving in the latter church for 27 years from , 1910 to 1937.
  In 1937, Dr. Potter became pastor of the Plattskill Reformed Church in Mount Marion, N.Y, retiring in 1940.
  He leaves his wife, Mrs. Jane S. Potter: a daughter, Mrs. Gron P, Lloyd and a granddaughter.

  Mrs. Jessie G. Swart, 81, of RD 3, Amsterdam died Saturday at her home.
  Mrs. Swart, was a native of Amsterdam and had lived in the West Glenville area most of her life. A member of the West Glenville Reformed Church, she was the widow of C. Harmon Swart.
  Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Roland B, Nicholson and Mrs. Henry M. Schrader, both of West Glenville and a brother, Donald Grant of RD 3, Amsterdam. Four grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
  A private funeral service will be held at the White Funeral Home, Scotia, at the convenience of the family. The Rev. Niles Poff, pastor of Glenville Reformed Church, will officiate. Burial will be in West Glenville Cemetery.
  Memorial contributions may be made to the West Glenville Reformed Church building fund.

  Frank DeGraff, 86, West Glenville, died Sunday in Benedict Memoiral Hospital, Balston Spa, after a long illness.
  Mr. DeGraff was born and always resided in the West Glenville area and was self employed as a farmer and carpenter for many years. He was a 50-year member of Welcome Lodge, 829, F&AM, of Amsterdam and of Scotia Lodge 845 IOOF. He was also a member of the Glenville Grange and West Glenville Fire Co.
  His wife was the late Ruth Putnam DeGraff.
  Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Michael Sabo and Mrs. Harry Collins, West Glenville; a son Charles DeGraff, Galway; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Davidson and Mrs. albert Hershfield, Glenville; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
  The funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Baxter's Funeral Home, Schenectady, the Rev. Niles Poff of the West Glenville Reformed Church officiating. Burial will be in the West Glenville Cemetery....
