  Amboy ... William Mariotte of Parish and Stella Hess of West Amboy, were united in the holy bonds of matrimony last Wednesday, Nov., 10th ,1897 at 3 o'clock p. m., Rev. Eider Hall of Dugway officiating. The ceremony took place at the Hess hotel, the home of the bride, without ostentation and no one was present but the immediate relatives. They at once departed to their new home in the village of Parish, where they intend to reside in the future. She being an only child her departure made a sad house. Stella was a good girl, extensively agreeable and pleasantly known, and will be much missed by all.

  A life resident of the Parish area, she was a retired school teacher and had taught in the Central Square school district for several years.
  She is survived by a brother, Christopher Mariotte of Parish; and several nieces and nephews.
  Graveside funeral services will be conducted in West Amboy Cemetery in the spring.

  Parish — Mrs. Mabel Hess Dunbar, 83, widow of Arthur Dunbar of Carley's Mills, died July 9, in Oswego Hospital after a short illness.
   Mrs. Dunbar was born in Hastings and was a secretary for the Carleys Mills Cemetery Association for several years.
  Surviving are a daughter, Mrs, George Armstrong, Carley's Mills and a son, John of Mexico and six grandchildren.
  Services were at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Harter Funeral Home with the Rev. James Clark, retired pastor of Hastings Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial was in Carley's Mills Cemetery.

  Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the home. Rev. Chester Winters officiated. Burial was in Carley's Mills Cemetery.

  He leaves his wife, Mrs. Mertie Crim Getman, Newark; two daughters, Mrs. Howard Shelters of Lyons, Mrs. Jerden Genge of Oneida; two sons, Lyle Getman of Oneida and Cliford Getman of Alameda, Calif.; several nieces and nephews; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
  Born Oct 12, 1882, in Constantia, he was the son of the late James and Alice Warren Getman. Prior to moving to Newark about 20 years ago, he was a painter here.

   ONEIDA ... Mrs. Mertie M. Getman, 81, of Newark, formerly of Oneida, died Sunday after long illness. Mrs. Getman was born Nov. 17, 1881, at West Amboy. The daughter of the late Charles and Viola Malory Crim, she was married to the late Jesse Getman, July 10, 1920, in Oneida. Mrs. Getman had lived in Newark since 1933. Mr. Getman died Aug. 6, 1957. Mrs. Getman attended First Methodist Church in Newark. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Jerden Gonge of Canastota and Mrs. Mildred Shelters of Lyons; two sons, Lyle Getman of Oneida and Clifford Getman of Simi. Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Effie Wiggins of New Berlin, Mrs. Gertrude Gardner of Rome, and Mrs. Nora Craner of Central Square; three brothers, Floyd, George and Edward Crim, all of Parish; 19 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren several cousins, nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 pm Tuesday at the Whitford-Edkin Funeral Home, 322 Washington Ave., the Rev. S.M. Berney, minister of First Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Constantia Rural Cemetery, Constantia.

  ONEIDA — Grove C. Hess, 53, of 529 Tilden St., a foreman in the knife plant of Oneida Ltd., died suddenly yesterday at his home. He had undergone an operation in November.
  Born in Constantia, Jan. 20, 1892, son of Cary E., and Alice E. Hess, he had resided in Oneida 30 years. He was a member of the Baptist Church, the Independent Order of Foresters, Syracuse, and the CAC.
  Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Florence Beardsley Hess; two daughters, Mrs. Yvonne Ido of Huntington Park, Calif., and Miss Florence Hess of Middleville; three sons, Capt. Merwin Hess of the Army, just arrived from China, Leland Hess a carpenter's mate in the Navy' stationed at Tatuxent River, Md., and Cpl. Wayne Hess, in the radar section of the Army, stationed in San Francisco; and two grandchildren.

   Double Wedding Solemnized - Constantia, Nov. 3.—Norman Knaus and Mrs. Carrie Getman and Grove C. Hess and Miss Florence Brearly were married Wednesday evening. The weddings were solemnised at the parsonage of the Methodist church by the Rev. F. C. Schorge. The attendants were Ernest Dingman and Miss Louise Knaus. Mr. Knaus and Mr. Hess are employed in the Knaus Manufacturing company's factory and will make their homes in this village.

several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Wimple was the daughter of Erving and Mary
Hess Pangburn and was born in West Monroe.

  EAST NEW HAVEN, December 23, - Mrs. Edith Revoir, who suffered a stroke a Week ago Friday night, though slightly improved is still seriously ill at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Elmhirst, jr. Mrs. Revoir, who has been in poor health, was visiting another daughter, Mrs. Vernon Schipper of New Haven when the Schipper home was destroyed by fire the morning of December 4.

  MEXICO - Mrs. Edith Revoir, 65, died Wednesday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Elmhurst, in the northeast section of the town of New Haven, following an illness of several weeks. She was the widow of Jesse Revoir.
  Born in Palermo, she was the daughter of the late Irving and Mary Hess Pangburn.
  Survivors, with Mrs. Elmhurst, include four other daughters; Mrs. Carl Timm of Syracuse. Mrs. Ray Walts of Caughhdenoy, Mrs. Vernon Shipper of New Haven and Mrs. John Mayne of Palermo; also three sons, Earl of Hastings, Ernest of Syracuse, and Floyd of Caughdenoy; 17 grandchildren; and two brothers, Charles Pangburn of Hastings and Irving Pangburn of Central Square.
  Funeral services will be from the Elmhurst home in New Haven, Saturday at 2 o'clock with burial to be made in Hastings.

  Miss Maryan B. Revoir, daughter, of Mrs. Edith Revoir, Mexico, became the bride of Frank C. Elmhirst, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank C. Elmhirst, Sr. of New Haven, Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the parsonage of New Haven Methodist church, the Rev. Ray S. Cody, pastor, officiating.
  Maid of honor was Misa Alta Rassumussen of Shelbourne, and best man was Earl Tack of Schenectady. Ring bearers were Gordon Schipper, New Haven, and Wiliam Walts, Jr., of Caughdenoy, nephews of the bride.
  The bride wore pink marquiset with white accessories, and a corsage of orchids. Miss Rassmussen wore aquamarine With white accessories and a corsage of pink roses. The bribe's mother wore an orchid dress with white accesories and pink roses, while the bridegroom's mother, wore cadet blue, white accessories and a corsage of pink roses.
  Goinig away outfit of the bride was a two-piece figured dress with white background, with white accessories. After a short wedding trip the couple will be at home in Schenectady, where the bridegroom is employed at the General Electric plant.
  Following the ceremony, a receiption was held at the home of Mrs. Edith Revoir, Spring street, from 2:30 to 4;30 o'clock, with 150 attending. The bride's table was deorated in pink and white, with candles giving the names of the couple and the date of their marriage. A large cake centered the table wtth miniature bride and groom.
  The bride received many gifts, one of which was the silver table serice of the bridegroom's grandparents.
  The night preceding the wedding the bridegroom's mother entertained at a dinner for the couple and the immediate families.
