Neepawa, Man. - John Hampton Howatt, aged 40 years, died suddenly of a herat attack, Sept. 12, at his residence in Neepawa. Mr. Howatt was born inHuron county, Ontario, and came to Neepawa with his parents in 1897. He was a member of the Knithts of Pythias and the United church. In Jun 1918 (sic), he married Hazel McClroy (sic), who died in November of the same year, and in 1936 he married Edith McLean who survives, with his mother, Mrs. J. Howatt, of Langruth, Man.; teo sisters, Mrs. J. Connell of Langruth, Man., and Mrs. P. Hayden, of Amherst N.S., and three brothers, Lou, of Neepawa; James of Star City, Sask., and Edgar of Regina, Sask. The funeral was held from the United church, Neepawa, Sep 15, Rev. J. W. Cruikshank officiating, to Riverside cemetery.
