  MRS. JUVA YOUNG DIES; ILL BRIEFLY
  Mrs Juva Young, wife of Melvln Young, died at 11:46 yesterday morning at her home, 177 East Boulevard. She had been ill five days.
  Mrs Young was born in Fort Plain and had been a resident of Gloversville about fifty-five years. She was a member of the Christian Science church and General Richard Montgomery chapter, DAR.
  Besides her husband, she leaves one son Delbert Young of this city, a brother, Bert Getman of Rome; two grandchildren, June Elisabeth Young of Washington and Melvln Alfred Young of the Merchant Marines, stationed at Sheepshead Bay.
  The body waa taken to the Walrath & Buahouer funeral home, 51 Fremont street and today will be returned to the family home where it will remain until funeral arrangements are completed.

  ST JOHNSVILLE - On a bright Spring afternoon, that of Monday the earthly life of Mrs. Anna Goodbread Wagner, 73, drew to a peaceful close. She was taken ill only a little over a week ago, and was confined to her bed only since a week ago yesterday.
  Anna Goodbread was born in Stone Arabia on September 12 1861, daughter of the late Daniel and Delia Getman Goodbread. She spent her girlhood days there, and was educated in the schools of that place. She always resided in this section. Deceased was twice married, her second husband, William Wagner, a local barber, having died several years ago.
  For the past six years, Mrs. Wagner has made her home with Mrs. Bertha Weir and Ralph Weir. She never was happier than when doing some act of kindness for someone else. Her genial disposition won and kept for her a legion of friends, who will regret to learn of her passing.
  Surviving are one son by a previous marriage, Orville Ecker, Syracuse, now confined in an Oneida hospital with critical injuries sustained last Wednesday while driving to the bedside of his mother; two stepsons, Floyd Wagner of Fort Plain and Clyde Wagner of the state of Washington; a brother, John Goodbread, Amsterdam; also grandsons and granddaughters and nieces and nephews.

  Mrs. Thomas Miner
  Herkimer - The death of Mrs. Rachel Miner, 42, wife of Thomas Miner, 301 King, occured Aug. 8, 1942 at Herkimer Memorial Hospital. An invalid for more than 30 years, she was taken to the hospital Friday night after becoming critically illo at her home.
  She was born in Dolgeville, Feb. 4, 1900, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Bliss, and had lived there until coming to Herkimer about a year ago. Her marrage to Thomas Miner took place 22 years ago.
  Besides her husband, she is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Ethel Gressler, East Herkimer; Mrs. William Rehm, Syracuse, and Mrs. Ella Gregory, Johnstown, and four brothers, Elton Bliss, Utic; Lee, Edwin and William, Syracuse.
  The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Methodist Church, Dolgeville. Burial will be in Dolgeville Cemetery.

  LTTTLE FALLS — William Eaker, 82, widely-known Ingham Mills farmer, died April 15, 1954 in a Utica hospital, after an illnes of three weeks.
 He was born October 13, 1871 in Town of Danube, a son of Hesakiah and Jane Stauring Eaker. He married Florence Leavitt May 14. 1902 in the Baptist parsonage. Little Falls. The Rev. A. B. Conrad officiated. Mrs. Eaker died two years ago.
  Mr. Eaker was a member of Inghams Mills Baptist Church and the Herkimer County Farm Bureau.
   He leaves three sons; Justus, Dairy, Oregon; Clarence, St. Johnsville, RD.; Arthur, Little Falls, RD.; four daughters. Mrs. Frank Mang, Richfield Springs; Mrs. Albert Hughes and Mrs. Roy Grauman. both of Little 'Falls. RD; Miss Jane Eaker, at home; two brothers. Henry Eaker, Little Falls; Hesekiah Eaker, Little Falls, RD.; several, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
  The funeral will be at 2 Monday from Inghams Mills Baptist Church with tho Rev. Florence Hamilton, Lewisburg, Pa., former pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Rural Park Cemetery, Inghams Mills.
