It was only recently that Justice Brown sentenced a man to Wampsville jail for 30 days, and not having the facilities of transporting the prisoner, gave him the money to buy the ticket to jail. Upon telephone communication, the Justice learned that the prisoner has arrived safely. Justice Brown always took an active part in the politics.
