New York Mills - Mrs. Eva May Orendorf Joslin, 67, 36 New Hartford St., died Apr. 9, 1947, in St. Luke's Hospital after a brief illness.
Born on June 27, 1879, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Slara Crippen Orendorf. On Dec. 26, 1906, she was married to Raymond M. Joslin in frankfort where they had lived until 1930, when they moved to New York Mills. Mrs. Joslin was an active member of the Wolcott Memorial Presbyterian Church of New York Mills.
Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, Mrs. Clara May Howard, Newport; a sister, Mrs. Fannie E. Seaman, Cleveland, Ohio, three grandchildren and several neices and nephews.

Frankfort - Raymond M. Joslin, 74, of 16 Elm St., New York Mills, who died unexpectedly May 8, 1954, was born Oct. 16, 1877, in Frankfort, a son of Melville and Mary Davis Joslin.
He attended the Frankfort Schools. He married the former Eva Mae Orendorf, Frankfort on Dec 26, 1906. In 1930 they moved to New York Mills where he had since resided. Mrs. Joslin died Apr. 9, 1947.
He was a deacon of the Walcott Memorial Presbyterian Church, New York Mills. He was a carpenter.
He leaves a daughter, Mrs. Arthur Howard, Newport.
The funeral will be from the Owens Funeral Home, Frankfort. Burial will be in Crown Hill Memorial Park.

Seamans, 126 Litchhfield street, this village, this evening ossured the marriage of Eva May Orendorf, eldest daughter of Clarence Orendorf and sister of Mrs. Seamans, to Raymond M. Joslin, in the presence of a few limited guests, under an arch of cedars trimmed with green and white. the bridalparty was met by Fev. E. W. Brown, pastor of the South Street M. E. Church of Uticam and in a brief ceremony, in which the ring service was used, he pronounced them husband and wife and introduced them to thier friends. The bride was gowned in blue silk trimmed with lace an dcarried a bouquet of bridal roses. Mr. Joslin has been a resident of Frankfort all his life and is one of Frankfort's most energetic and prosperous young farmers. Miss Orendorf has spent nearly all her life in Frankfort and is a cultivated and refined young lady, who by her winsome spirit and geniel manners has won to herself a host of friends. There were guests present from Utica and Mohawk as well as many from Frankfort. The presents to the bride were numerous and sonsisted of table linen, silver, cut glass and other useful articles. The bridal party left on the evening train for New York City and other places, where they will spend their honeymoon. When they return they will take up their residence in Frankfort, where they will have the best wishes of their numerous friends for a long and happy life together.

The marriage of Allen G. Seaman of Parish, N. Y., and Francis E. Orendorf of Frankfort, was celebrated at the home of the brlde's father. Clarence Orendorf, in Frankfort, Wednesday. The ceremony was performed by the Rev: S. W. Brown, pastor of the South Street M. E. Church of Utica in the presence of about fifty friends and relatives. The house was tastily decorated and the ceremony was performed beneath an evergreen arch. decorated with horseshoes. At the appointed hour the groom and bride were escorted into the parlor by the ushers, John DeGamo and Raymond Joslin. After congratulations and a merry time the bridal party, with their guests, sat down to a bountiful repast. The bride was the recipient of many beautiful and useful presents, including silverware, table linen and lamps. Mr. and Mrs. Seaman left on the 10 p. m. train for Albany for a short bridal trip, and on their return will take up their residence in Parish, N. Y. The bride is one of the bright and cultured young ladies of Frankfort where she was born and educated. Mr. Seaman is one of the enterprising young farmers of Parish. The best wishes of a host of friends go with Mr. and Mrs. Seaman to their new home.

Frankfort - The death of Mrs. Cora Orendorf Bryant, wife of Gail Bryant, occured last night ar her home on East Main Street following a prolonged illness with paralysis. She had suffered from it for more than five years and for several months past had been stadily failing.
She was born in Frankfort, Jan 12, 1887, a daughte rof Clarence H. and Clara Crippen Orendorf. She attended Frankfort schools and had been a life-long resident of this vicinity.
She leaves surviving her husband and two sons, Clarence and Arthur Bryant of this place, tow sisters, Mrs. Ray M. Joslin of Utica and Mrs. Allen Seaman of Cleveland, O, and one brother, Leonard Orendorf.
The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 from her late home, the Rev. Clara Conrad officiating.

Leonard C. Orendorf, 52, formerly of Frankfort, died on Thursday, September 21, from a fall he received while working in a Poughkeepsie silk mill.
Orendorf was born in Frankfort and lived there until 1916. He enlisted in the Navy and served two years and 22 months upon competition of which, in 1922, he located in Poughkeepsie. It was there that he married Ida Sleight, who survives, with two children, Florence and Leonard and two sisters Mrs. R. M. Joslln, New York Mills, and Mrs. Allen Seaman, Cleveland, Ohio.
It was reported that he suffered several fractures of the skull and other Injuries when he fell 10 feet in the mill.

Mary Eleanor Gannon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William P. Gannon of 52 Mary Street and Newell William Orendorf, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Cullen of Cherry Valley, N. Y., were united in marriage this afternoon at the rectory of St. Mary's Church by Rev. Dr. William E. Cowen. The bride was attended by her cousin, Mary Ellen Gannon. The bride groom was attended by Adrian Dunn of this city.
The bride wore heavenly blue crepe, trimmed with silver lamb, with pink accessories. Her corsage was of pink and white roses. Her attendant chose French gray wool with dubonnet accessories and wore a corsage of dubonnet pompons.
The mother of the bride wore blue crepe with eggshell accessories. The mother of the bridegroom wore black with white accessories.
Immediately after the ceremony there was a reception at The Chimneys for the immediate families, and a few friends. Guests were present from Cherry Valley, Rochester and Syracuse.
The bride is a graduate of Auburn High School, and Auburn Business School, and has been associated with Smith &t Pearson Inc. The bridegroom is connected with the American Locomotive Corporation.
Among those who entertained for the bride were Miss Mary Ellen Gannon, who gave a linen and crystal shower, and the girls of the Smith & Pearson Store, who gave a dinner at The Chimneys.
After a trip to Washington, D. C., the couple will be at home in this city.

MOHAWK - Jonathan (Jon) E Wollaber, 21, of R D 1 Purdy Rd., an employee at Homogeneous Metals Co. in Clayville, died Friday, August 19,1983.
He was born on July 13. 1962 in Ilion, the son of Blaine and Adelaide Baylor Wollaber and attended Mohawk Schools
Survivors include his mother, Adelaide of Mohawk; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Sophie Baylor of Mohawk; six sisters, Mrs, Richard (Ann) Phillips of Mohawk, Mrs. Donald (Priscilla) Bly of Sarasota, Fla., Mrs. Herbert (Kathleen) Brown, Mrs. John (Linda) Cockett, Nancy Wollaber Nudo and Julie Wollaber, all of Mohawk; four brothers, Philip, David, Daniel and Andrew Wollaber, all of Mohawk; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 11:15 a.m. Monday at the Graves-Applegate Funeral Home, Mohawk. Interment will be in Denison Corners Cemetery. Calling hours are Saturday. 7-9 and Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9
