FORT PLAIN -- Mrs. Florence Eckler, 77, died Tuesday evening April 26, 1955 in Little Falls Hospital where she had been a patient 17 days.
She was born Feb. 3, 1878 in the Town of German Flats, the daughter of John and Nancy Sutter Casler. A resident of Nelliston for 41 years, she retired from the Beech-Nut Packing Co., Canajoharie in 1945. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. DeForest Phillips, St. Johnsville. Mrs. Frank Spraker, Fort Plain, Mrs. William Gros, Nelliston; six sons, Everett, St. Petersburg. Fla, Harry and Kenneth,
Nelliston, Howard, Victor and Stanley, Fort Plain; several grandchildren, great grand children nieces and nephews. The Rev. H. H. Mahl, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, will officiate at services at the Swartz funeral home, Friday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Fort Plain Cemetery.
