Albert E. Petrie died Monday evening at his home arie near Pardish. He was a farmer and was engaged in lumbering. His father was one of the original settlers in the area. Surviving are a son, Tunis Petrie, Parish and four grandchildren, also of Parish. Services will toe at 2 p. m. Thursday at the Mills Petrie Chapel with interment in the family mausoleum in Pleasant Lawn Cemetery.

Mrs Kittie Petrie, age 60, who lived at the Petrie homestead for 53 years since her marriage to Albert E. Petrie in 1889 died Saturday at her home on North Camden Road after an illness of several months. Born in Mexico Nov 12, 1873 she moved to Parish with her parents when she was the age of four. On Nov 10, 1889 she was married to Mr Petrie and the couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary three years ago. Mrs Petrie was an active member of the Presbyterian church in Parish. Besides her husband she is survived by a son Tunis and four grancdhildren. Services were held at the home, then the Mills & Petrie Chapel with placement in the Mills & Petrie mausoleum in Pleasant Lawn Cemetery, Parish.
