Mrs. Carl E. Caple, 77. of RD1. Ilion, died Friday at her home. She leaves a stepson, Howard Caple, of Rome.
The former Edna May Pathe, she was born in Jackson Summit, daughter of Charles and Anna Phillips Pathe.
She married Leon T. George in Herkimer in 1916. He died in 1934. She married Mr. Caple in Ilion in 1948 and he died in 1972.
Mrs. Caple was a former employe of the Donlon Glove Co., Herkimer.
Also surviving are two other stepsons, Walter Caple of Herkimer and Fred Caple of
Utica.
Funeral services will be at 2 pm Sunday at the Fenner Funeral Home. Herkimer. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Calling hours at the funeral home are from 7 to9 tonight.

FRANKFORT — Irving Hunt, 46. Cedar Lake Rd., Clayville, a native of the Town of South Columbia, died Saturday of injuries.
Mr. Hunt was a passenger in a car driven by James Lesniak,31, of Yorkville, which collided with a car driven by Edward Bajgerowicz, 34, of Whitesboro.
He died of a fractured skull and other injuries when thrown from the car and then pinned beneath it.
Lesniak suffered cerebral concussion, face cuts, and possible skull fracture and possible fracture of the legs. He, too, was hurled from the car.
Bajgerowicz suffered contusions of the head and chest and Shirley Keyes, 29, of Utica, riding with him, had concussion and lacerations.
Mr. Hunt was born in South Columbia, the son of George and Nettie Kaples Hunt and was educated in Mohawk Schools.
He was employed on the farm of Helen Williams, Clayville.
Surviving are four sisters, including Mrs. Lula Schuyler of Frankfort, Mrs. Augustus Lawler and Miss Elva Hunt, both of Utica, Miss Myrtle Hunt, Youngstown, Ohio; two brothers William of Mohawk and Leo of Utica, several nephews and nieces.
Services were held a 2 today from the Wolanln Funeral Home, Yorkville, with interment in the New Forest Cemetery.

MRS. IRVING HUNT
Mrs. Carrie M. Hunt aged 85, of Richfield Springs, died Sunday in Binghamton, after a long illness.
She was born April 3, 1874, in Prospect, the daughter of Jerome and Mary (Pangborn) Worden, She attended school in Prospect. She was married to Irving Hunt in Mohawk in 1905. He died October 24, 1920. Mrs Hunt had been employed for eight years by Remington Typewriter of Ilion. She had resided for the past 28 years at the home of her son, Lester, in Richfield Springs.
Surving are her son; one daughter, Mrs. Dominick Putch of (Ilion; one brother, Earl of Carthage; seven grandchildren, 11 great-grand-children, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.mp. on Wednesday from the McGrath Funeral Home, with the Rev. Reginald T. Bliss, rector of Grace Episcopal Church, officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Herkimer.

The marrage of Miss Helen Hubiak, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hubiak of Van Hornesville, and Lester Hunt, son of Mrs. Carrie Hunt of Richfield Springs was solominzed in St. John's Chapel, Saturday afternoon, November 21st at four o'clock by the Reverend Roscoe C Hatch.
The bride wore white princess satin with a full skirt which fell from a fitted bodice, a court veil of embroidered lace was caught to a coronet of seeded pearls and she carried an arm boquet of white roses.
The maid of honor, Miss Mary Hubiak, the bride's sister wore aqua tafeta. The bridesmaids were miss Eleanor Van Valkenberg, Schenectady and Miss Mary Bibik, Richfield Springs, the former wearing pink satin, and Miss Bibik, orchid tafeta. The attendants all carried boquets of mixed flowers.
The best man was Russell Van Valkenberg of Ilion and the ushers Lewis Van Valkenberg and Walter Hubiak, a brother of the bride. Mrs. Hunt ia a graduate of the Van Hornesville centeral School and Mr. Hunt attended the Richfield Springs central school and is employed in the Remington Arms, Ilion.
A reception was held at the Old Millstone Tavern.

Mrs. Edith McGinley, aged 78, of this village; died Friday at her home on Susquehanna Avenue where she had been under treatment for a cardiac condition. Death occurred at
about 1:30 a. m.
She was born July 30, 1877, in Mohawk , a daughter of James and Mercy Kaple, and attended school in Herkimer.
Her first husband, Truman Boss, whom she married in 1903, died in 1907.
She came to work in Cooperstown about 50 years, ago. On June 7, 1909, she was married to George McGinley of Cooperstown, by the Rev. Ralph R. Birdsall in a ceremony in Christ Episcopal Church here.
She was long active in the church's affairs, notably as director of rummage and other sales in aid of various church funds. She was a member of the church Woman's Auxiliary and of the Fly Creek Rebekah Lodge.
In addition to her husband she leaves two daughters, Mrs. Anne Pate of Ilion, and Mrs. Agnes Kaples, Mohawk; two sisters, Mrs. George Kruse, Chicago and Mrs. Etta Bolton, Rochester; also four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services were held at 2 p. m. Monday at the Tillapaugh Funeral Home, Pioneer Street, with the Rev. George F. French, rector of Christ Church, officiating. Burial was in Lakewood Cemetery.

Utica, May 1.—Truman Boss of Bristol street, who was employed in Amsterdam as an iron bridge worker on the New York Central, was instantly killed Thursday afternoon by a fall from a bridge of the Kelloggs & Miller branch which crosses the interurban trolly road east of Amsterdam. He was a member of a gang of workmen of which J. F. Baird of this city is foreman. Stewart Bard of this city and John Doherty of Little Falls worked in the same gang. Coming in contact with a live wire was what caused him to fall. He struck on his head and was killed instantly. Mr. Boss was born in Augusta about 34 years ago. When very young he moved to New York Mills with his parents. He had lived in this city for several years. Three years ago he fell from a bridge near Canastota and was picked up from the ice for dead but regained consciousness in five hours and went back to work at once. At one time he was a member of Winchell Camp, Sons of Veterans, of this city. He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Edna; his mother, Mrs. Caroline Boss, three brothers, Milton of Utica; Frank of Paris Hill and Walter of Sauquoit; two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Carr and Mrs, Eva Mahar of this city .

George McGinley, aged 87, of Cooperstown, died Sunday, March 3, in the Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital, following a brief illness.
He was born July 19, 1876, at Cooperstown, the son of James and Ida (Heath) McGinley. He married Edith Kaples on June 9, 1909. She died November 25, 1955. Mr. McGinley was employed as a miller for Bolton and Bronner; later for Wood Brothers and for J. Herbey Smith until his retirement about 1949.
He was a member of the Native Sons of Cooperstown and of the IOOF Lodge at Fly Creek.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Ann Pate of Ilion, and Mrs. Agnes Kaples of Little Falls; four grandcblldren; ten great-grandchllren, and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were field at 10 a. m. on Wednesday from the Tillspaugh Funeral Home, with the Rev. George F. French, rector of Christ Episcopal Church, officiating. Burial will be later in Lakewood Cemetery.

Roy F. Kaple, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles B. Kaple, 1426 Taylor Aveenue, was married to Miss Mae Underwood at Tuscon, Ariz., January 21. the were married at the home of the bride's parents by Rev.---- of the Methodist Church.
Roger Underwood, brother of the bride, was best amn and Miss Catherine Van Buskirt, friend of the bride, was bridesmaid. Mr. and Mrs. Kaple left by auto for Yuma, Ariz., Los Angeles and Sandiego, Calif. After an extended honeymoon in California they will return to Los Angeles April 1, when Mr. Kaple will take charge of a large undertaking business.
Mr. Kaple is well known in Utica having served his apprenticeship here under Fred Heintz and the late Robert Battley. He is a member of the Scottish Rite, Ziyra Temple and Seconendoa(?) Lodge F. & A. M.

Robert Frederick Kaple age 89, died Tuesday June 2, 2015 at Methodist Manor of the Pee Dee in Florence.
Mr. Kaple was born in Tuscon, AZ to the late Mae and Roy Kaple. He was a WWII Marine Corp veteran.
