Watkins Glen - Loren R. Getman, 83, of North Glen Avenue, died Monday, Jan. 10, 2005 at home.
He was employed for the NYS Department of Transportation in Hornell with nearly 50 years of service as an engineer laborer, civil service system and a civil engineer.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Annie Getman.
There will be no calling hours.
Services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. Fourth St., the Rev. J. Keith Kissel officiating.
Burial will be in Montour Cemetery.
