Elmer G. Rickard
Elmer George Rickard, well known resident of Kendall County, passed away, April 3 at the St. Charles Hospital in Aurora, at the age of 86 years.
Mr. Rickard, long a farmer living in a beautiful home on Route 34, was born December 8, 1861, in Bristol. He is survived by three children and six grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren: Harry L. Rickard, Chicago, Clara R. Quinsey, Los Angeles, California, and Bessie R. Reddock, Yorkville.
He was a member of Raven Lodge No 303 A. F. & A. M. of Oswego, and Lorraine Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, also of Oswego.
Masonic services were conducted by Raven Lodge at the Federated Church in Yorkville, the Rev. Walter S. Henry and the Rev. Daniel Laverty Eckert officiating.
Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery, near Bristol.
