Solomon was born near where he died, and where the family homstead now stands. On March 26, 1862 he married Helen Getman who survives. The couple celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary six years ago. Besides his wife he is survived by four daughter and a son. The funeral will be held from his late home Friday afternoon.

On Saturday the dog savagely attacked Mrs. Simpson, biting her face, lacerating the hip, lip and nose. Mrs. Simpson was immediately cared for, and medical assistance procured. The dog was shot.
