Cansjoharie. Aug. 22.—John H. Getman, a well known farmer of the town of Palatine, died early Saturday morning at his home, in East Stone Arabia. The deceased was 62 years of age and a lifelong resident. He had been ill for some time past with heart trouble and dropsy. He was the son of Darius Getman and one of a large and well known family in that community. He was a man well thought of and his death is regretted by a wide circle of relatives and friends.
He is survived by a widow, one son, Charles Getman, of Stone Arabia; one daughter, Mrs. Raymond Bellinger, of St. Johnsvllle; one brother, William Getman, of Palatine Church; three sisters, Mrs. Arnold Eacker, of Stone Arabia, Mrs. William Dockstader, of Palatine, Mrs. Amelia Hose, of Nelliston, and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday at 12 o'clock at the house and 1 o'clock at the Evangelical church. The Rev. L. B. Dutcher will officiate, and the interment will be at Ephratah.

"Mrs. Mary Lepper Snyder, widow of Adam Snyder, died Monday at her residence in Fultonvllle as the result of heart disease. Sho was born October 19, 1849 in Ephratah and was the daughter of the late Hiram and Celia Nellis Lepper. Upon her marriage to Mr, Snyder she became a resident of Fultonvllle where she continuously resided except for the year recently spent with her son-in-law J. Harvey Shibley of Fonda.
She was a member of the Fultonville Methodiet church and of the Lepper family association in which she was very active. She was held in high esteem in the community.
She is survived by one son, Wilson Snyder of Tonawanda and two brothers, Charles Lepper of Gloversville and Frank Lepper who lives in the 'West.
The funeral was held from her late home Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock, the Rev. C. L. Hall, D. D., pastor of the Methodist church, officiating. The bearers were Wilson Snyder, Charles Lepper. Starin Snyder and J. K. Shlbley. Interment was in the family plot in Maple View cemetery.

Albert Getman, 83 years old, died at his home in Nelliston Sunday, April 8 at 8:30 o'clock in the evening. He had been in ill health for about six months and was confined to this bed for three weeks. Death was caused by complication of diseases.
He was born in Palatine and had lived on the old homestead until 18 years ago when he moved to Nelliston. He was the son of Richard and Mary Shults Getman. He was married to Bertha E. Sammons, daughter of Edward H. and Josephine Everson Sammons of Fultonville 28 years ago.
The survivors are two brothers, William Fillmore and Norman Getman of Johnstown and several nieces and nephews. The funeral was held on Wednesday afternoon at 2 oclock. Rev. Kruizenga officiated. Interment was made in the family plot in the Ephratah Cemetery.
