FRANKFORT ... Anson Freeman, a Civil War veteran, died at the home of his nephew, Reuben Bacher, on Loomi street, last evening. Mohawk, Jan,. 11 - Following a long illness Rozelle Freeman 89 well known resident of Dennison Corners, died this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. George Bacher, 64, if Petris Street, Little Falls.
He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Freeman. He spent most of his life in this vicinity. His wife died 13 years ago and since that timne he has resided in different communities of this section.
He leaves his daughter in Little Falls, Mrs. Oscar Smith of Herkimer, Mrs. Newton Compton, Oneonta; Madison Freeman, Illion and Hervey Freeman, Columbia.
The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon ar 2 from the Graves Funeral Home in this village.

Amanda Freeman died at the age of 77 years last week. She had spent her entire life in this part of the town. She leaves to mourn her death, a husband, Roselle Freeman, two sons, Madison and Harvey of Columbia, three daughters; Viola Compton, Oneonta; Emma Baker, Little Falls; Sarah Freeman, of Herkimer, and several grandchildren. The funeral was held at the home Sunday at 2 p.m.;. Rev. E. D. Ridgeway officiating. Mrs. Ridgeway sang Abide with Me," and "We Shall Never say Good Bye." Burial was made at the Dennison's Corners cemetery.

The name of Miss Mary Freeman is added to the nearly endless list who have fallen vict9ms to death in early man and womanhood by consumption. The deceased was 23 years of age and was loved and respected by all who knew her. It is stated that the fell destroyer has been opreying oupon her vitals for the past three years, and on Tuesday, June 1, she bid farewell to her frineds and closed her eyes in peace forever. Her funeral was conduc ted from the Dennison church Friday, June 4, after which her remains were taken to the Dennison cemetery for interment.

Mrs. Sarah Freeman Smith, 85, of 438 N. Bellinger St., died last night in Herkimer Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient for a week.
Born on May 10, 1871, in Denison Comers, a daughter of Rozell and Amanda Schell Freeman, she was married to Oscar Smith on July 14, 1917, in Herkimer. He died June 7, 1950. Mrs. Smith attended the Reformed Church.
Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Viola Compton, Oneonta, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be conducted at 3 p. m. Thursday from the Fenner Funeral Home by the Rev. Fred G. Cotnum, pastor of First Methodist Church, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Oscar Smith, 73, of 438 N. Bellinger St., died today in his home.
He was born July 1, 1876, in this village, a son of Joseph and Catherine Syllabach Smith and attended local schools. He had been a resident of this village all his life.
His marriage to the former Miss Sarah Freeman took place on July 14, 1917 in this village. Mr. Smith was a cabinet maker and carpenter by trade and at one time was emiployed at the old Horrocks Desk factory and by E. D. Coakley. He was an old-time basketball player and a member of Christ Episcopal Church.
Besides his wife, he leaves one sister, Mrs. Francis Fairbrother, Newport, and several nieces and nephews.
