Mohawk. Feb. 1.—At this home in Columbia street yesterday morning occurred the death of Philo Ackler. aged 72 years. He had been ill a long time, a complication of diseases causing his death. He is survived by his wife and one son. Charles B. Ackler of Boston; one brother. James L. Ackler of Columbia, and four sisters. Mrs, Emeline Gray and Mrs. Catharine Haggerty of Spinnersville and Mrs, Eve Getman and Mrs. Sally Getman of Columbia. The funeral will be private at his home Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. Mr. Smith, pastor of the M. E. Church, officiating.

MOHAWK ... Wednesday morning of last week at the home of her niece, Mrs. J. M. Bellinger, East Main street, occurred the death of Mrs. Sarah Haggerty. Her demise was due to the infirmities of old age and she had been confined to her bed for three months. The deceased was born at Stony Brook, September 28, 1825 and was 84 years of age. In 1841 she married Alonzo Haggerty and for 30 years they conducted a hotel in West Winfield. Seven years ago she came to make her home with Mrs. Bellinger. There also survives another niece. Mrs. Adelaide Sherman of Mankato, Minn., and two nephews, Albert and Warner Dodge, both in California. The Funeral was held Friday at 2 o'clock from tbe Bellinger home and was private. Rev. Thomas Beeson officiated and burial was made in Oak Hill cemetery.
