  We have an Announcement!!
  Katherine Ann Rosendahl was born to Marty and Rachel Rosendahl at 11:22 pm on April 27, 2009. Marty sent a picture to my phone, but it is rather dark.
  He said Rachel was a “Champ” through it all, and they are all happy and doing well. So I have taken today off work and we are going to Eau Claire. They are having Katherine baptized at 6 pm tonight.
  Rachel’s grandfather, Lester Schierenbeck, (who was the pastor at our church in Austin MN when I was young), had died earlier that same day.

 - Obituary (Find A Grave)
  Michael D. Snyder, age 58, of Columbia City, IN passed away at 5:45 am on Sunday, October 2, 2016 to attend his final race in heaven. Born on February 2, 1958 in Wellsville, NY he was the son of Horace and Opal (Tanner) Snyder.
Michael attended local schools. He was a mechanic at Jim Barnett’s Marathon Station for many years. Michael enjoyed fishing, hunting, auto body and paint work, building race cars, drag racing, his Dachshund Spike, and most of all spending time with his grandchildren.
  Survivors include his daughter Holly (Cunning) Silvey; son Michael (April) Snyder both of Columbia City; grandchildren Destiny Sky Beckley and Michael Dean Snyder both of Columbia City; siblings Cathy Stanley of Columbia City, Cynthia Kempton and Joseph Snyder both of South Whitley.
   Friends may call on Thursday October 6, 2016 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at DeMoney-Grimes, a Life Story Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. Funeral services for Michael will immediately follow at 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions in memory of Michael may be made to his final expense account C/O DeMoney-Grimes.
