Ronnie A. Gassman of Roseville, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2009 at St. John Macomb Oakland Hospital - Macomb Center at the age of 54. He was born April 7, 1954 in Bay City, Michigan.
Ron always loved playing jokes on everyone. He once took the neighbors rocking chair and put it on our porch.
He always had a way of making Gloria's sister, Pat feel better about herself by telling her how great or hot she was when she would fell self conscious about her weight. He always said, "I'll make her feel better."
He could never wake our daughter, Tina up in the morning so he would take a water bottle and squirt her.
Ron loved his sister, Linda (he would call her Porky).
He also loved his mother, Delphine very much.
The sun would rise and set on his two girls, Tina and Chelsi. Chelsi had her daddy wrapped around her finger! He would put a movie on for her in her bedroom and something to eat along with chocolate milk.
When Tina was little he would do (what he called) Baby Dipping, dancing.
Ron also had many real close friends, Keith, Doreen, Bob, Cindy, Brian and Rick.
Ron also loved to go fishing, camping and anything that required spending time outdoors.
Ron is survived by his beloved wife, Gloria; daughters, Tina MArie and Chelsi Victoria; mother Delphine; siblings, Linda (Douglas) Anklam, Cindy Neal (Phil Jacobs), Randy (Irene) Gassman, Dean Gassman (Gwen Schaefer) and Kevin Gassman.
He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by his father, Ralph.

Dale passed away Saturday morning, October 13, 2012 at his residence at the age of 66 years. The son of the late Vernon and Elizabeth (Desham) Lesniak was born February 23, 1946 in Bay City. Dale as a member of the D.A.V., enjoyed listening to hard rock music, Nascar, baseball, football, poker, fishing and traveling. Dale served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict where he received the following medals; Vietnam Service Medal with one silver and one bronze service star, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Valorous Unit Citation Army Commendation Medal with one oak leaf cluster and a rifle expert.
He is survived by his wife the former Nancy L. Hine whom he married October 8, 1998. Also surviving are his son; Dale D. Lesniak II, his stepson; Charles (Krystalina) Schmidt, his stepmother; Bernice Lesniak, his mother-in-law; Doris Chamberlain and his uncle; Wes Gussman.
Funeral and Committal Services will take place Thursday, October 18, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. followed by Military Honors conducted by the Bay County Veterans Council. Cremation will follow and private inurnment will take place in Great Lake National Cemetery in Holly, MI. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Laurie Dee Bankes Sorell, 25, died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 1990 at the Converse County Memorial Hospital following a short illness. She was born Jan. 1, 1965 in Sheridan, Wyoming, the daughter of Joseph J. and Laura E. (Brown) Sorell. In 1966 she moved with her parents to Laramie. In 1971 she moved to Douglas where she was educated, graduating from the Douglas High School in 1983. She is survived by her parents, Joe and Laura, of Douglas and Sacramento, Calif.; two daughters, Kimber Lea Sorell and Kayla Marie Bankes both of Douglas; one sister and three brothers, Gary Sorell of the United States Army in Frankfurt, Germany, Holli Hilliboe and Steve Sorell both of Douglas, and Joe Sorell of Guernsey; paternal grandmother, Joan Sorell of Frankfurt, Germany; maternal grandmother, Dale Brown of Buffalo, Wyo.; five nieces and one nephew. She was preceded in death by one brother, Chris Sorell; paternal grandfather, Claude Sorell; and maternal grandfather, John Brown.
