GARY L. SCHREIBER, 57, of Fairborn, formerly of Lima, died May 22, 2006, at Hospice of Dayton, Dayton.
He was born Nov. 29, 1948, in Lima to Lewis F. and Patricia Ann Payne Schreiber, who preceded him in death.
Mr. Schreiber was sports director and a play-by-play analyst for WPFB, Middletown. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Fairborn. He had served as the finance director for the Dayton Jaycees. He was founder of the 1984 MDA Golf Fundraiser, as well as the Charity Golf Tournament in Van Wert, benefiting hospice and the adult care center.
Survivors include two daughters, Erin Hagerman of Lima and Lisa Pratt of Florida; four grandchildren; special friends, Linda Hagerman of Lima; a sister-in-law, Mary Jo Schreiber of Lima; three aunts, Beverly Schafer of Lima, Nancy (Peter) Ross of Denver and Marguerite Schreiber of Walsenburg, Colo.; several nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends, Bob Rae, Charlotte (Justin) Bailey, both of North Ogden, Utah, and Anna (Nathan) Myers of Rexburg, Idaho; the parents of his friends, Bob, Judy, Joel and Heather Dollinghouse, Holly and Scott Witalis, Andrea Baxley, Lisa Narely, Anne Graves and Samantha Roberts; and his little buddy man, Tyler, who was the most influential person in the last years of his life who taught him how to love.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Rick L. Schreiber; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Services will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Fairborn. Bishop John Sherwood will officiate. Burial will be in Byron Cemetery, Fairborn.
Friends may call one hour prior to services Tuesday at the church.
Arrangements are by Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, Fairborn.

EAST STONE ARABIA - Miss Christy S. Fox, daughter of Mrs. Hazel Prall, Fort Plain RD 2, and Richard Fox, also of RD 2, and Norman L. Kneeskern, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Kneeskern, Stone Arabia street, Neliistcn, were married at 12 noon Aug. 27, at the Salem United Methodist Church, East Stone Arabia, with the Rev. Robert Jewell performing the Unity of Candles double ring ceremony.
The family pews were marked with white satin, bows, while the alter was adorned with white gladioli and daisies.
The organist, Mrs. Irene Andrews, Ephratah, played the traditional wedding music, the vocal soloist was William Lamphere, Fort Plain RD 2. Selections included "Love Story", "One Hand, One Heart", theme from "West Side Story" and "The Lord's Prayer".
Given in marriage by her grandfather, Christopher Fox, the bride were a full length gown of white silk organza draped over taffeta styled with a high rise neckline adorned with appliques of Venise lace and clusters of pearls. The fitted bodice was accented with matching lace and her long puffed sleeves ended in deep lace cuffs. An A-line skirt with soft folds terminated into a cathedral length train, the hemline defined by deep ruffles edged with matching lace. Her camelot headpiece fell from a cathedral length mantilla. The bride carried a cascade bouquet of white daisies.
The matron of honor was Mrs. Myra Heroth, Ephratah, cousin of the bride. The bridesmaids were Mrs. Sue Stergas, Johnstown, and Miss Dawnna Lake, Ephratah, friends of the bride Miss Brenda Byrne, Rockwood, cousin of the bride, and Mrs Denise Duesler and Miss Nancy Fox, both of Ephratah, sisters of the bride.
The matron of honor was attired in a full length gown of maracaine in petal pink with a high rise neckline and ring collar, a fitted bodice, circular skirt and a pink floral Jacket.
The bridesmaids were attired identically as the matron of honor in gowns of apricot, blue, lilac, Nile green and maize with floral capelets and matching picture hats.
The attendants carried colonial bouquets of white daisies and baby's breath matching their gowns.
The bride's mother chose a pale buttercup yellow easy flow polyester floor length gown with a sheer matching capelet trimmed with small sunkissed stars, white accessories and a daisy corsage with yellow baby's breath.
The bridegroom's mother wore a sheer coral printed crepe dechine empire style gown over coral polyester crepe with long sheer sleeves and standup collar, white accessories and a corsage of daisies and coral baby's breath.
The miniature bride, Kristina Duesler, Ephratah, niece of the bride, wore a full length gown of white organza over white taffeta with a high rise neckline and ruffled fitted bodice and puffed sleeves. Her bouffant skirt was fashioned with deep ruffles at the hemline and she wore a miniature camelot headpiece with a bouffant veil.
The best man was Vance Heroth, Ephratah, cousin of the bride. Ushers were John Eckler and Mark Shibley, Fort Plain; John Sutton, Stratford; Mark Klump, Nelliston, and Alan Prall, Canajoharie, stepbrother of the bride.
The miniature bridegroom was John Hall, Ephratah.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held for 300 members of the bridal party and guests at the Canajoharie Municipal building. Music for dancing was furnished by the Chelsea..
Later the couple left on a wedding trip to the New England States and Cape Cod, Mass. For traveling, the bride wore a three-piece brown pants suit with a matching plaid blouse and corsage of daisies.
The bride is a graduate of Johnstown High School, Class of 1974, while the bridegroom graduated from Fort Plain Central School in 1973. He is employed by Palatine Supply, Nelliston. The couple is residing at Fort Plain RD 2.
The bridal attendants were presented gifts at a rehearsal party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Prall tendered by the bridegroom's parents. The bride was given a shower at the Ephratah fire station by her bridal attendants and Mrs. Betty Hulsaver, Mrs. Thelma Fox and Mrs. Beverly Lake.
Attending the wedding and reception were guests from Canajoharie, Utica, Fort Plain, Gloversville, Johnstown, Ephratah, Stone Arabia, Watervliet, Geneva, Long Island and New Jersey.

MERIDIAN — Services for Richard Harper Howarth Jr. will be held Saturday, at 2 p.m., at Saint Paul's Episcopal Church, with the Rev. Brian Ponder officiating. Visitation will begin at noon in the church parish hall. Burial will be at Magnolia Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Howarth, 48, died Monday, Jan. 16, 2012, in an airplane accident outside of Philadelphia. He was an accomplished pilot, having served as a highly-decorated naval aviator during the Iraq War, and since 1995 as a pilot for Federal Express.
Following graduation in 1985 from Virginia Tech with a B.S. degree in finance, Mr. Howarth worked in the commercial lending department at Chemical Bank in New York for one year. He then began a distinguished career in the U.S. Navy, receiving his wings at NAS Meridian, and later graduating from the Navy Fighter Weapons School (Top Gun). He graduated number one in officer commissioning class, received the Distinguished Naval Graduate Award and also graduated number one from Naval Air Training flight school. Mr. Howarth flew an F-18 during Desert Storm, and led 44 combat missions during that conflict. He was awarded two Air Medals and two Navy Commendation medals with "V" for valor in combat.
Upon retiring from active military duty, Mr. Howarth briefly flew commercially for ValuJet Airlines, and for Federal Express since 1995. While at FedEx, Mr. Howarth developed the MD-11 syllabus for training company pilots that is still in use today. He flew several aircraft for FedEx, and was selected to personally train the current cadre of pilot instructors for the company.
Mr. Howarth also founded a very successful vegetation management contract services company in 2004. As president of HD Machines, LLC in Meridian, he supervised all aspects of business operations covering 13 states ranging from the Southeast to the Midwest.
Mr. Howarth is survived by his wife, Cynthia Townsend Howarth; children: Juliet Wells Howarth, Cythina Townsend Howarth, Jetson Dow Taylor and his wife Bryn, Brooke Taylor Kauerz, and Jamison Clark Taylor and his wife Misty; father, Richard Harper Howarth Sr.; mother-in-law, Jane Temple Townsend; sisters: Sarah Howarth Marshall and her husband Tommy, and Amelia Howarth Baker and her husband Clark; grandchildren: Crosby Taylor, Jet Taylor, Evans Kauerz, Harper Kauerz, and Case Taylor; and, nieces: Ashley Marshall, Natalie Marshall and Emily Marshall.

- I have attached mine and my brother's birth certificates. Forrest Geoffrey Mott born May 14, 1964; and myself, Andrea Cybele Mott born August 18th, 1965. Both showing Merton Alexander Mott as our Father. We were flown from California to New York in December of 1965 and raised by Charles and Beatrice Mott (our Aunt & Uncle). Forrest passed away on October 27th, 1969 as indicated on the attached death certificate.
I "met" my father, reunited with him on the Jenny Jones show in Chicago IL in 1996. And reunited with my mother, around that same time in Los Angeles CA. Merton Alexander passed away on February 5th, 2000. He never married my mother.
Charles Leroy Mott Jr. Passed away October 10th, 1993. Beatrice Loomis Mott passed away August 29, 2016.
I was married to David Paul Riling on August 30th, 1986; we had a son Jamieson William Riling on February 3rd, 1992; we divorced in 1995. I then married Carl George Hollamby Jr. on September 6, 1996; we had a son Carl George Hollamby III on September 15th, 1996.
