- NOTE, by Violet: This was "Cousin Frankie," life-long friend of my mother, with whom we stayed before we left Chicogo for Benecia. She gave Eva and me each a handmade lace collar. She was an elegant lady in a fine house. Her little son, Chester.had a squirrel in a cage that
climbed a revolving ladder. (Beck)
