Sue M. Borrell, 75, of Masonic Village, Elizabethtown passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2011 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Elizabethtown, she was the daughter of the late Anna Mary Halbleib and stepdaughter of the late Norbert Rhodes.
Sue was a member of Elizabethtown Brethren in Christ Church. Earlier in her life, she was employed at the Armstrong flooring plant in Marietta. She enjoyed crafts and was a NASCAR and Phillies fan.
Sue is survived by her son, John H. Fackler, Jr., husband of Carla, Elizabethtown; a foster son, Rick Waltz, Korea; two grandchildren: Ryan, husband of Megan Fackler and Erin, wife of Jeremy Shaffner; two great grandchildren: Mason and Allison Shaffner; two sisters: Joyce, wife of Jim Gotshall and Anna Mary Rhodes; and a brother, Norbert Rhodes, husband of Sharon.
She was preceded in death by a two sisters: Cora Way and Nancy Miller.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 6, 2011 at Miller/Sekely Funeral Services, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown at 11:00 AM. Friends may call on Friday at the funeral home from 10:00 until the time of service. Interment will take place in Goods Cemetery, Elizabethtown at the convenience of the family.

Virginia M. Hanes, 85, of Greenville, Maine, formerly of Ulysses, died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004, at the home of her daughter.
Born Feb. 6, 1919, in Petrolia, N.Y., she was the daughter of Warren E. and Anna Ben Rhodes.
On Jan. 20, 1934, in Whitesville, N.Y., she married Clyde M. Hanes, who predeceased her in 1990.
She was a homemaker and a lifelong area resident.
She is survived by two daughters, six sons, 38 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mildred Stocum, Elkland; Bertha Hancock, Mills; Phyllis McCaslin, Ulysses; a brother, Harry Rhodes, Goshen, Ind.; nieces and nephews.
Friends may call today (Wednesday) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Benjamin R. Olney Funeral Home, Ulysses, where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. The Rev. Bruce Ireland and the Rev. Frank T. Eppley will co-officiate.
Burial will be made in the Parker Hill Cemetery.

GOODMAN, Evelyn Jane - Of Mt. Morris, age 79, died Monday, January 21, 2002 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 1PM Thursday, January 24, 2002 at Whipple-O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Pastor Eddie Phillips officiating with burial in Thetford Township Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-9PM and Thursday from 11AM until time of service. Evelyn was born September 13, 1922 in Clio, MI, the daughter of the late Floyd and Hazel (Haskins) Curtis. She had resided in the Mt. Morris area the past 50 years. Evelyn married William G. Goodman September 14, 1940. She earned her Associates Degree at Mott Community College in 1969 and then her Bachelors Degree in Education at Eastern Michigan University in 1974. Evelyn taught in Mt. Morris Community School District for several years. She was a member of the Flint Genealogical Society. Evelyn enjoyed reading, crafts, crocheting, sewing and spending time at her cottage in Oscoda on Cedar Lake. Surviving are: husband, William; 5 daughters, Diane Roberson of Davison, Suzanne and husband Ron Utica of Mt. Morris, Barbara and husband Jack Smith of Birch Run, Linda and husband Thomas Glowski of Otisville, Billie Dawn and husband Daniel Simmonds of Otisville; 14 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; brother, Floyd (Bud) and wife Eleanor Curtis of Rochester; many nieces and nephews. Evelyn was preceded in death by an infant son, William James, March 7, 1943; 2 brothers, Richard and William Curtis. A special thanks to the staff of the McLaren Kidney Center, Hema Care of Mt. Morris and Briarwood Nursing Home.

GOODMAN, William G. - Of Mt. Morris, age 86, died Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at Maple Woods Manor in Clio. The funeral service will take place 2:00pm Friday, November 16, 2007 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mount Morris. Burial to follow in Thetford Township Cemetery with Graveside Military Honors. William's family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Friday from 11:00 am until the time of service at 2:00pm. On Thursday evening a Masonic Memorial Service will take place at 7:00 pm conducted under the auspices of the Mt. Morris Masonic Lodge #535 F.&A.M. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the WWII Memorial Fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. William was born August 10, 1921 in Mt. Morris, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. George and Rhea (Serven) Goodman. He and Evelyn C. Curtis were united in marriage September 14, 1940. She preceded him in death January 21, 2002. William proudly served his country with the US Navy during World War II on the USS Bingham in the South Pacific. His career would lead him to the automotive industry where he worked as a draftsman for AC-Rochester for 40 years prior to his retirement. William was a member of the Mt. Morris Masonic Lodge #535 F.&A.M. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Suzanne and husband Ron Utica of Mt. Morris, Barbara and husband Jack Smith of Birch Run, Linda and husband Tom Glowski of Otisville, and Billie Dawn and husband Daniel Simmonds of Otisville; 13 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild; brother, Richard B. and wife Helen Goodman of Mt.
