     Floyd Boynton III, 57, of Fulton, died Friday, December 30, 2011 at University Hospital in Syracuse surrounded by his family. He was predeceased by his father, Floyd Boynton Jr. in 2005. Surviving are his mother, Joyce Boynton of Fulton; three sisters, Mary (John) Smith of Hannibal, Wendy (Mike) Whitney and Cheryl Boynton all of Fulton; a niece and nephew, Stephanie and Mike Smith and his daughter, Tricia (Brian) Kirby. Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, January 5 with a service to immediately follow at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Mt.      Mary Reta Smith, born March 8, 1956, the daughter of Floyd and Joyce Boynton, passed away on June 18, 2014 at the age of 58. Mary was taken too quickly from her loved ones after succumbing to a prolonged battle with cancer. She was a dedicated wife and mother who found time to balance a busy work schedule with the demands of supporting and taking care of her family. She is predeceased by her father and brother, Floyd Boynton, III. Mary is survived by her husband, John; two children, Michael (Randall Wilke) of Orlando, FL and Stephanie of Syracuse; her mother, Joyce Boynton; two sisters, Cheryl Boynton and Wendy (Michael) Whitney. Calling hours will be held 11 to 1:30 p.m. Saturday with a service to immediately follow at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Upstate Cancer Center, 750 E. Adams St., Syracuse, 13210.

She was personnel director for the New York State Amateur Trapshooting Association and operated the Parish Community Gymnasium Program.
  Survivors: Her husband of 37 years, Michael J.; a daughter, Misty L. Paternoster of Pulaski; three sons, Michael J. of Pulaski, Scott J. of Parish and Shane E. of Sandy Creek; a brother, James Hollenbeck of Dayton, Ohio; five grandchildren.   Mr. and Mrs. Michael Paternoster, who were married in St. Ann's Church in Parish, have returned from a wedding trip to Niagara Falls.
  The bride is the former Miss Jean Hollenbeck, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Hollenbeck of R. D. 2, Parish. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Patsy Paternoster of Mill stree,. Parish.
  The Rev. James Slowey performed the Oct. 16 ceremony in St. Ann's Church in Parish.
   The bride wore a long gown of white jeweled Alencon lace with scalloped Sabrina neckline, long sleeves and a bouffant skirt with train. A pearl and sequin crown held her long veil. She carried pink sweetheart roses and mums.
   Miss Shirley LeBlanc was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Cathy Harrington, Miss Bonnie Updyk and Miss Joyce Hollenbeck. Tracy Donegan was flower girl.
   Jerry Wright was best man. Ushers were James Hollenbeck, Joseph Paternoster and Reginald Sargent.
  A reception followed in Elder Manor in Central Square.

  Karen Hamilton Whitney, 71, formerly of Parish, who had been living in Florida, died August 13, 2013 in Florida. She is predeceased by her husband, D. Roger Whitney, who died in 1999.
  Surviving are one son, Donald Whitney and companion of 20 years, Bonnie Solazzo; four grandchildren, Chrissy, Donald, Amanda, Nick; two great-grandkids, Piper, Quincy; two sisters, Florence and Don Horning, Lori and William Reyes; one brother, Doug and Doreen Hamilton.
  Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 18, 2013 at the Pleasant Lawn Cemetery, Parish, NY.

   Florence L. "Flip" Horning, 70 of Parish, NY died Tuesday at the DeLand Hospital in DeLand, Florida. She was born in Syracuse, NY; daughter of the late Robert and Esther Spaulsbury Hamilton. She attended the Amboy Center Methodist Church. She worked in the cafeteria at APW High School. She previously worked at the Muench-Kreuzer Candle Company in Syracuse. Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Donald L. Horning; one son, Kenneth (Kim Guenthner) Horning of Parish; two daughters, Kim Horning of Parish and Christine (Bill) McNabb of Williamstown; her 6 grandchildren, Jillian Skellington, Whitney Skellington, Tyler Skellington, Kristopher McNabb, Kenneth Horning Jr. and Jessica Horning; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Lori Hamilton of New York City and one brother, Douglas Hamilton of Parish. Funeral Services will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday from the Parish United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Pleasant Lawn Cemetery Parish, NY.   Lawrence Heahlke
   Lawrence Heahlke, 85, of Wausau, died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2007, at North Central Health Care Center, Wausau.
   Lawrence was born Aug. 2, 1922, in Marathon County, to the late Gustave and Ella (Schmidt) Heahlke. He married Gladys Drake on April 24, 1948, in Wausau. Lawrence served in the U.S. Navy. He was a truck driver for Spector Freight, and a member of the Teamsters Local 446. Lawrence enjoyed camping, fishing, and the outdoors and was an avid sportsman in his younger years. He was an Elder in the Rib Mountain Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses for 39 years. Lawrence was a very zealous minister and enjoyed sharing his beliefs with others.
   Survivors include his wife, Gladys of Wausau; four daughters, Kathy (John) Zimmerman of Grand Rapids, Mich., Mary (Gary) Kiedrowski of Hatley, Jane (Kenneth) Brzezinski of Schofield and Sarah (Randy) Tacker of Memphis, Tenn.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and one brother, Wallace (Marion) Heahlke of Wausau. Lawrence was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold and Clarence Heahlke; and one sister, Eleanor Berna.
   Memorial services will be 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2007, at Helke Funeral Home, Wausau. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until the time of services Friday at the funeral home.
