  Lima
  PATRICIA A. SCHREIBER, 72, died at 9:30 a.m. Jan. 3, 2004, at St. Rita's Medical Center. She was born Sept. 2, 1931, in Upper Sandusky to Paul and Frances Swayze Payne, who preceded her in death. On July 24, 1948, she married Lewis F. Schreiber, who died Feb. 20, 2003.
  Mrs. Schreiber was a cashier at Rumer's Market, Lima, for 17 years, and then served as office manager of Rogers Jewelers, Lima, until her retirement. She then operated the post office at Weichart's Pharmacy, Lima. She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lima, and the American Business Womens' Association. She was a 1948 graduate of Lima South High School. She loved her family and her friends. The family would like to thank Kristi, Stephanie and Debbie Risner for their special care and attention toward Patricia.
  Survivors include two sons, Rick L. (Mary Jo) Schreiber of Cridersville and Gary L. Schreiber of Fairborn; four grandchildren, Tamara Sawmiller, Glen Wheeler, Lisa Pratt and Erin Britt; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Beverly Shaffer of Lima; two sisters-in-law, Nancy (Pete) Ross of Denver and Marguerite Schreiber of Walsenburg, Colo.; a brother-in-law, Donald Klinker of Lakeview; and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Erlyne Klinker, and three nephews, Gregory Shaffer, Randall Shaffer and Michael Ross.
  Services will begin at 1 p.m. Monday at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church. The Rev. Robert Gibson will officiate. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum.
  Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Siferd Funeral Home, Westwood Chapel, where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., and one hour prior to services Monday at the church.
  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Rita's Hospice or the charity of the donor's choice.

 - Wedding Announcement (Schenectady Gazette, NY, Saturday, January 7, 1950)
  CANAJOHAR1E — Miss Lenata Mary Mott, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Mott of Dorloo, and Thomas Wesley Planck, son of Mr. and Mrs. S. Wesley Planck of this village, were married last Saturday afternoon at the Dorloo Methodist Church with Rev. Arthur Hannay, pastor, officiating.
  Miss Mary Jane Kniskern of Dorloo, organist, played the traditional marches and was accompanist for the soloists, Misa Barbara Rosecrans and Walter Roosa of Dorloo.  Baskets of mixed flowers decorated the church.
  The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of ice blue satin with black satin hat and a corsage of white rosebuds. Her maid of honor, Miss Melva Steenburg, of Cherry Valley, wore rose-colored satin with matching hat and a corsage of white roses.
   Robert Van Valkenburg was best man and Lewis Veghte Jr. and Earl B; Pulver, all of Canajoharie, were the ushers.
  A reception at the home of the bride's parents followed the ceremony, with 65 guests present from Freeport, LI, Walden, Cherry Valley, Johnstown, Canajoharie and Honesdale, Pa.
  After a wedding trip, Mr. and Mrs. Planck will reside at 1600 Sunset avenue, Utica.
  The bride Is a graduate of Cobleskill high school and the bridegroom graduated from Canajoharie high school. He is a senior in Utica College of Syracuse University, where he is a member of the college band and glee club. He is a veteran of World war II and served with the Fifth Constabulary in the European theater.
