 - Obituary (Ilion Citizen, NY, Thursday, April 12, 1906)
  Mrs. Eveline Orendorf, widow of th elate Leonard Orendorf, died at her home, just south of this village, at a late hour on Friday last, aged 73 years. She was the daughter of Hiram and Elizabeth Joslin, who were among the earliest settlers of the town, and the greater part of her lifetime had been spent in this vicinity. Five years ago she was striken with paralysis, and was almost helpless, but she bore her sufferings with great patience and cheerfullness, She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church and was highly esteemed by all. She leaves surviving three children. Mrs. Emma Hicks of Deadwood, S. D.; Mrs. Fannie E. Garbutt of Sycamore, Ill, and Clarence E Orendorf of this place; also one sister, Mrs. Mary E. Putman of this vilage, and one brother, Hamilton H. Joslin of Marshall, Mich. The funeral was held from the late home Tuesday, Rev. Frank B. Severance officiating.
