BARBARA K. ADAMS, 53, died at 12:,35 p.m. March 24, 1999, at her mother's residence in Lima.
She was born Oct. 17, 1945, in Lima to Harry E and Bessie V. Thomas Klinger. . Her mother survives. On June 3, 1963, she married Kenneth W. Adams, who survives.
Mrs. Adams was a dispatcher for the Lima Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol for nearly 30 years. She was a life member of the former Christie United Methodist Church, near Spencerville. She was 1963 graduate of Shawnee High School and a member of the Ohio State Troopers Association.
Survivors also include two sons, Michael W. (Sally) Adams and Mark W. "Buck" (Kathy) Adams, both of Lima; a daughter, Kimberly B. (Michael) Oglesbee of Spencerville; a brother, Thomas W. Klinger of Michigan; and 11 grandchildren.
Services will begin at I p.m. Saturday at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home, Spencerville. The Revs. Daniel H. Messner and William R. Abram will officiate. Burial will be in Spencerville Cemetery.
Friends may !II from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

CHARLES L. ADAMS, 62, died at 6:15 p.m. Sept. 13, 1993, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, following an extended illness.
He was born Oct. 9, 1930, in Spencerville, to Otis L. and Sarah C. Purdy Adams. On June 2, 1961, he married Francis L. Sherer, who survives.
Mr. Adams retired from electrical maintenance, having served 30 years with Ohio Decorative Products in Spencerville.
He was a 1949 graduate of Spencerville High School and a graduate of Indiana School of Technology. He served a year in the Navy and four years in the Air Force.
He was a member of the Harry J. Reynolds Post 191, American Legion and a former member of the North West Ohio Field and Stream Association. Survivors also include two daughters, Sandra L. Shaffer and Mrs. David (Paula L.) Arnett, both of Spencerville; a sister, Mrs. Home (Mary Dickson of Lima; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m Wednesday at the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home, Spencerville. The Rev. David Howell will officiate. Burial will be in the Spencerville Cemetery. Friends may call 5 to 9 tonight and noon to 2 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions he made to the Spencer Ambulance Service or to a charity of the donor's choice.

HOMER DICKSON, 69, died at 8:37 a.m. Dec. 9, 1999, at Lima Memorial Hospital. He was born in Nov. 9, 1930, in Lima to Harry L. and Hazel E. Boyer Dickson. On Nov. 5, 1957 he married Mary E. Adams, who survives.
Mr. Dickson retired in 1989 as a set-up man from Textron, was a bus driver for Perry Schools and Westgate Bowling Lanes after school programs. Survivors include two sons, Stanley E. Dickson of Spencerville and Thomas A. (Katherine) Dickson of Lima; a daughter Jane E. (Bill) Perry of Rockford; a sister Dorothy Gray of Lima; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Melvin.
Services will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. The Rev. Jean LaVallee will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum.

Funeral Services This Thursday for Carolyn Richardson, 56
Funeral services for Carolyn L. Richardson of Birch Drive, Spencerville, will be held at 10:30 a.m. this Thursday in the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Horne with the Rev. Gary W. Rode officiating.
Mrs. Richardson died at 1:23 p.m. Monday,Oct. 7, 1991, in St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima following a sudden illness Saturday morning.
She was born in Spencer township, Allen county, on April 27, 1935, a daughter of James W. and Verla A. (Miller) Adams. On May 31, 1958, she was married to Vernon G. Richardson, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Robin G. Richardson of Spencerville, Spec/4 James K Richardson, stationed with the U.S. Army in Nurenberg, Germany, and Dee A. Richardson of Muskegon, Mich.; three grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. L. Fred (Pat) Vulgamott of Spencerville.
Mrs. Richardson was a! member of Trinity United Methodist Church, where she served on the board of trustees and administrative board, and was a member of the United Methodist Women and pastor, parish committee, and a communion steward. She was a member of the SHS Class of 1953.
She was a member and past president of the Round The Clock OCCL; a member of the, Spencerville PTO, Delphos-Area Support Group for Desert Shield/Storm, and the Auxiliary of Bowersock Bros. VFW Post 6772. For many years she served with the Red Cross Bloodmobile, and had been active in craft- making.
She had formerly been a clerical worker at City Loan in Lima, and had been a custodian for the Huntington Bank and St. Patrick Catholic Church in, Spencerville.
Burial will be in the Spencerville Cemetery with Robin. James, and Dee Richardson. Randy Becker, Ken McNett, Fred Vulgamott, Jack Huber and Dick Place as pall bearers. Friends may call at the funeral home from, 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. VFW Auxiliary memorial services will be conducted at the funeral home at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. The family requests that memorial contributions be directed to the Trinity United Methodist Church memorial fund.

Funeral Services Held Saturday For Patricia J. Vulgamott
Funeral services for Patricia J. "Pat" Vulgamott, 64, of Spencerville, were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 3, in the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home. Revs. Mike Swanton and David Howell officiated. Burial was in Spencerville Cemetery.
Mrs. Vulgamott died at 7:22 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2002 in the emergency department of
St. Rita's Medical Center, following a sudden illness at her home.
She was born December 10, 1937 in Spencerville, a daughter of James W. "Jim" and Verla Miller Adams. On September 17, 1955, she was married to L.F. "Fred" Vulgamott, who survives, along with two daughters, Deborah "Deb" (Randy) Becker and Tamara "Tammy" (Ken) McNett, both of Spencerville; five grandchildren, Christina (Joey) Pruett of Weston, Ohio, Jennifer R. Becker, Scott D. McNett, Stacey S. McNett and Amy J. Becker, all of Spencerville; and three great grandchildren Tyler, Sky and Matt, and one brother-in-law, Vernie Richardson also of Spencerville.
A sister, Carolyn Richardson, preceded her in death.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church of Spencerville and had been a volunteer with the Lima Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, accumulating 2,827 hours. She was employed as the manager of the Lima Memorial Hospital Gift Shop. She was a graduate of Spencerville High School, class of 1955.
