  BRANDYWINE, Md. -
   Frank Allan Ade, 59, of Brandywine, Maryland, died suddenly in Prince Frederick, Maryland, on November 6, 2009.
   He was born in Little Falls, New York, on May 6, 1950, to the late Leo Ade and Gilda Terenzetti Ade. He had lived in the Southern Maryland area since 1990. He was a salesman for a recycling company and enjoyed camping, fishing and spending special time with his family.
   He is survived by his beloved family: his wife of 26 years, Ann Marie; son, Allan Ade, of Brandywine; daughters, Lisa Libritz and husband, Matthew, and Christine Ade, both of Herkimer, NY; three grandchildren, Michaella Kelly, and Derek and Nathyn Libritz; in-laws, George Fejko, Jr., and the late Marsha (Collis) Fejko, of Little Falls; also two sisters-in-law and their families, MaryJean (and Richard) Keyser, of Little Falls, and Joann (and David) Bellinger, Sr., of Little Falls.
   The family will receive visitors on Friday, November 13, 2009, from 6 to 9 PM at Raymond-Wood Funeral Home, 10684 Southern Maryland Blvd. (Route 4 South), Dunkirk, Maryland 20754. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peter���s Catholic Church, 3310 St. Peter’s Drive, Waldorf, MD, on Saturday, November 14th, at 11:00 AM.
   Locally, relatives and friends are respectfully invited to his graveside service commencing on Monday, November 23rd, at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Cemetery, town of Herkimer, NY.

Marriage Notes for Kay P Allfrey and Carlton R Chittenden Jr

 - Wedding Announcement (The Leader - Herald, Gloversville - Johnstown, NY, Saturday, August 17, 1963)
  Miss Kay P. Allfrey. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth H. Allfrey of 123 East Fourth Avenue, became the bride of Carlton R. Chittenden Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs, Carlton R. Crittenden Sr. of Cuba (Allegany County), in a ceremony at 11 this morning at the First Reformed Church.
   The double ring ceremony, in a candlelight setting of white and yellow gladioli and white carnations, was performed by Rev. Leonard M. Braam, pastor.
   The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white cocktail length Chantilly lace over tissue taffeta sheath, fashioned with a detachable overskirt. Her silk illusion veil was attached to a headpiece of orange blossoms and pearl-edged leaves, and her string of pearls was an heirloow gift from her great aunt, Mrs. Constance Birmingham of Sacramento, Calif.
   She carried a white orchid on a white Testament.
   Miss Paula J. Wood of Johnstown, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor. She wore a handpainted pastel cocktail length gown, and a maize headpiece and veil. She carried a colonial nosegay of yellow and white mixed flowers.
   George Crittenden of Cuba, brother of the bridegroom, was best man.
   The bride's mother wore a mink brown ribbon knit sheath with beige accessories and a cymbidium orchid corsage. The mother of the bridegroom was attired in a mint green brocade sheath with white accessories, and she wore a cymbidium orchid corsage.
   A buffet luncheon for the immediate families and the bridal party was held after the ceremony at the Union Hall Inn.
   The bride is a 1960 graduate of Johnstown High School. She attended New Paltz State Teachers College and was graduated in June from the Amsterdam School of Commerce.
   The bridegroom is a graduate of Cuba High School and New Paltz State Teachers College. He will be an art instructor at East Greenbush Junior High School starting this fall.
   For a wedding trip the bride chose a rose linen suit, white accessories, and an orchid corsage. Mr. and Mrs, Crittenden will live at the Joseph Mobile Court, Castleton, after Sept. 1.
   The bride and bridegroom and their parents and grandparents were guests of honor at a dinner given last night by the Crittenden family at the Kingsboro Motor Inn, Gloversville.
   Guests attended the wedding from Johnstown, Cuba, and Friendship.

 - Newspaper Article (The Rhinebeck Gazette, NY, Thursday, January 6, 1966)
  Leigh Tremper Saltsman, 28, an elementary teacher at Red Hook Central School, was one of 25 passengers rescued December 31 after a 96-foot sailing vessel smashed into a coral reef 20 miles southeast of Miami.
  Mr. Saltsman is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leigh Saltsman, Rhinebeck. His father is a florist.
   Coast Guard helicopters buzzed swiftly into action and rescued the passengers and 11 crewmen.
  Rafts were hastily inflated, passengers leaped three feet from the deck and the helicopters, speeding out from Miami, lifted the castaways one at a time.
  Mr. Saltsman, Richard Quick, Newburgh, and Carl Conklin, Kingston drove to Miami on Dec. 17 and took a plane to Bimini Island in the Bahamas, returning to Florida on the ill fated Mandalay sailing vessel of the Windjammer Cruises.

  Mrs. and Mrs. L. Tremper Saltsman of Rhinebeck announce the birth of their daughter Leighanne Elizabeth, who was born Feb. 22, in Benedictine Hospital, Kingston.

  GUILDERLAND - Rushton P. Saltsman, 61, of Brookview Drive, died Saturday at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady.
   Mr. Saltsman was born in Booneville and lived in Oneida before moving to this area in 1968.
   He earned a bachelor's degree in art education from the State University at New Paltz in 1968.
   He was an art teacher in the Mohonasen School District from 1968 until his retirement in June 1999.
   Mr. Saltsman served in the Air Force from 1957 to 1961.
   He was a member of the New York State Teachers Association.
   Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Doreen Seeley Saltsman ; two sons, Steven P . Saltsman of Galway and Michael S. Saltsman of Norwalk, Conn.; a daughter, Bethany R. Losito of Albany; a sister, Sally Ready of Oneida; a brother, Peter Saltsman of New Hampshire; and three grandchildren.
   A service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 5216 Western Turnpike. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
   Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p .m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Mohonasen Art Club in care of Lars Turin, 2072 Curry Road, Schenectady 12303, for a scholarship fund.
