For starters, here is my line:
I am descended from Aaron Getman, married to Eve Ebblie, then their son Nicholas (married Jane Jones), their son James Lewis Getman (married 1- Emma Adelia Davis , 2- Emma Spencer). James and Emma #1 daughter Emma Jane Getman was my great grandmother.
I would like to find more information on the first son of James Lewis and Emma #1 - William James Getman. I show that he married Alice Troutman, but I have reason to believe that he was remarried to Clara?. William and his family lived near Nanton Alberta for some time, close to his sister Emma Jane Getman Winsor and her family. I have prints of old picture postcards addressed to Aunt Clara Getman and Uncle Wm Getman. Another brother of William and Emma Jane, Charles Lewis Getman had also lived in Alberta for a few years.
I would like to hear from anyone that has information on this line.
